I didn't know Azerbaijan existed before this song to be honest - but I think that's the beauty of Eurovision, since it puts countries on the map with the universal art of music.
I have a feeling 80% of the dislikes come from Armenians and some sore losers who are mad that Sweden didn't win. Yes, I did like Sweden's song, but face it people, Azerbaijan won, and Europe voted for Azerbaijan. So Azerbaijan won, fair and square.

I'm from the US but when I was in Turkey teacher asked me and my other classmates what countries we would want to visit. We went to a few european countries, but I wanted to go to Georgia and Azerbaijan. (I never went) I guess I get a little piece of it from these wonderful singers right here.

I liked the song very much. Turkey had a nice song too, but it didn't make it to the finals.

I have an idea. In ESC, there should be more than one winner. This year, they did give these awards to three artists: Paradise Oskar (Finland) was given the 'best song overall' award voted by international press; Jedward (Ireland) got the 'most artistic performance' award; and Amaury Vassili (France) and the person who composed the song got the award for best composition. These awards should be made more significant next year. All three Finland, Ireland and France happened to be my favourites.

I'll be honest. I had a blast listening to most of them. Some, they're really good. REALLY good. Probably ideal copyright material that can give them big bucks if they sold it.
I really didn't expect Azerbaijan to win. It was calm, and kind of relaxing, but just... not my favourite.

It's modern, fresh, was in a good position in the running order and presented very very well that is why it did so well. After all it did win the public vote over sweden so you can't complain there. I personally thought this or the UK would win and despite the UK doing so badly i am not complaining. Well done Azerbaijan for your well deserved win :)
