Thanks everyone for sharing your reasons for watching and new bike sponsor guesses! It's neat to see the channel from perspectives other than my own. Happy trails!
Been watching for almost two years. The landscape you ride is beautiful and the video quality is great. You are so nice and respectful to people on the trail, even when you are racing. Lastly, you are an honest rider and crazy good. Love the videos!
Your POV videos are the best on UA-cam. Your narration is awesome. The trails in your area are so fun to experience. Plus, the group of riders you go out with are great. It is fun to come along. I always look forward to your videos.
The way that I started watching your vids was via watching Dale Stone vids, of which his 7 attempts to clean Immonator on his plus hardtail was the first one. Back then I kind of appreciated his minimalist ethos - not much talking, shit sound and vid quality, all coupled with some of the best trails anywhere and an amazing rider going full Ninja on shit I could barely walk down. Shout out to Dale - huge fan. Then the algorithm sent me some VanCan vids, and some BCPOV. I had already been long time subs of Brian, Seth and Alex - all of who I love. But but I just identified with you guys more. Plus, you guys ride trails more like ours (Seattle area). Ended up kind of identifying with the whole rider group (Laura, Andrew, Nick, Rory, Dale and yourself). Then while viewing Dale and Nicks channels, I realized you had one. That was probably in 2021. Yours has done exceptionally well in subscribership which you totally deserve, Nick's has done pretty well, too. Ironically, Dale is the guy I found you through, and his hasn't blown up like you guys, but also I think his day job is more interesting than you guys. So while Dale's vids have come a long way, I think maybe you and Nick take this whole UA-cam thing more seriously than him(??? totally guessing). I watch you all. I think you guys should all help Laura get going on YT. I would love to see the rides you guys do from the perspective of a woman! There is definitely a viewership market for her at UA-cam. I can't think of a better female rider anywhere outside the World Cup downhill circuit. I think women (and men) would watch her for sure. But she may have no interest. I love your vids and look forward to your Sunday drops in 2023. Congrats with your success! You now have subscription #'s that might attract one of the Boutique brands with a little more $$ reach, so I'm going to guess you are either going to be riding a Slayer, or a Nomad.
Funny story. I saw a few mtb pov videos randomly and when I actively searched for them, your channel showed up in the search. After watching a few, I decided to buy a mountain bike. A year and a half later, I’m having the most fun I’ve had in decades. I watch for the great riding, trails, and to hear the enjoyment of riding with friends. I always like the team ups you guys do with each other.
I’ve been watching for about a year. Just clicked out of curiosity and I was hooked. I’m a 71 yo woman who knows nothing about mountain biking but it’s fun to ride vicariously through the beautiful scenery.
I love the high quality POV runs - something quite relaxing, yet exciting about them, they are just pure entertainment. Plus, the trails you ride are amazing alongside the chat between yourself and people like dale and van can tops it off. Keep up the good work you’re doing.
Started watching after you and Dale started to appear in Van Can's videos. I like watching your videos because of trials stills and abilities to do loads of features. Plus, you seem like a relatable person Bike guess is Rocky Mountain Altitude.
Been watching for almost 2 years at this point and it's been so great seeing your channel evolve over time :) I think you really fill a gap in MTB content with incredible technical riding, beautiful trails and a good mix of pure riding vs voice-overs, Keep it up!
I started with the Beyond Expert trail. I like how you are so genuine when you ride. Your joy and frustration seem real. More like you really enjoy and want to take us along on your ride.
Forbidden Dreadnought! I watch for your impressive enduro/trials riding skills, terrain and your videos are clean with fairly raw footage of continuous riding. I'm also a fan of your whole North Shore crew... Nic and Dale mostly.
I like the narration and how you ride alone. Feels more raw when its just you out there and no filters or crew. Rocky Mountain Slayer is my guess on the partnership and bike
About two years watching. Apart from being a kick ass rider, you are just chill and humble. It's almost meditation looking at that rider POV. Keep it up!
I found your channel a year ago thru Dale Stone’s videos … I can’t remember how I found Dale’s - prob UA-cam algorithm. Anyways, like everyone else said your POV riding vids is prob my favorite. The quality, color, sound everything is done so well. From someone who loves photography and cinematography your work has always impressed me. Can’t wait for more! A side note - the 360 cameras are all the rave right now but I still think the best quality comes from GoPro superview.
Your channel and Dale's are one of the few MTB channels I watch these days. I like the down to earth riding, technical terrain and the gorgeous backdrops. I love the problem solving required for the crazy trails. Most bigger channels are chasing the algorithm and I appreciate less 'fluff' and more riding🤘
I’ve also been watching since beyond expert. For me, the fact that the videos are generally lightly produced is what draws me in. A lot of legacy MTB channels have become more like vlogs lately, which is fine, but the best part is the riding footage. I also just love seeing the trials skills come into play riding the trails.
I’ve been watching your channel for about a year and a half. Your style, commentary and general demeanour is what keeps me watching your channel. Your technical skills are amazing. I love watching you on skinnies and your ability to track stand with such composer. 🔥Looking forward to 2023 and seeing your new ride. 👍🇨🇦
Been watching you for a year or so, I really like your trial skills and I follow you and Dale to discover new trails to ride when I visit the west coast. My guess is that you'll go back to the norco sight
Nolly bike. I watch because you and Dale Stone (and quickly van can) are the 2 most technically sound riders that ride the over all hardest/scariest terrain in your area. I've been watching since the beginning...I discovered you and Dale at the same time cause you all are in each other's videos. Nicely done. Keep up the good work
I been watching your vids, as well as Dale’s channel since September. I started mtbing summer of 2022 and since I’m located in the north shore as well, watching your videos gives me a preview of the trails that I will be riding that day😊
Been watching you and Dale for a year or so now. I like the tougher trails and like to see how other people "solve the puzzle", so to speak, and have learned a lot watching you guys. My guess for the bike is the Knolly Chilcotin.
I'm watching both you and Dale and most of all I really love the kind of trails you ride. Just about everything looks awesome! It's also very nice to see you always being a nice person on the trail. I do especially enjoy the videos Dale do with you in focus cause your style of riding is great inspiration. Keep it up and many thanks 😊
Immersion! The vibe of the vids are very tangible. The trails are sick, especially for a PoV. They are unique, beautiful scenery (as stated) and hyper technical. Then combined with your skill and ability to deliver, it makes for one of the most photogenic and immersive channels for MTB. You can almost 'feel' the ride. I suspect the extremeness of the trails helps gets over the GoPro effect. This is a good combination. I look forward to continued list of great trails that are far beyond what I get access to. And I enjoy following other great riders like Dale today.
Been watching for about 8 months and I started watching you because you are such a technical rider and your trials riding on technical mtb trails and good spirit are just a good time to watch
Been powering through your cataloque for a week. What I love about your videos is two things, it's the professionalism with which they're made and it's the humility. First off you place the sport above all else and it shows and secondly you are always looking to improve. I can respect that.
I'm not sure how long I've been subscribed but I can at least share with you the reasons why I enjoy your channel. Thank you for sharing in this hobby and providing a first-person perspective. Every time i watch a video I can see exactly where I would crash if I were to attempt doing the same thing. Your videos help me enjoy this hobby in the safety and comfort of my couch! Also I really enjoy how positive and respectful you are, your positivity is contagious
Been watching your videos for about a year, I love it because it is the exact type of riding I love to do (Techy stuff, skinnies, rock rolls/gardens, drops, more skinnies) and you make your videos in an amazing way! Keep it up! Oh and my guess is you'll be riding the Rocky Mountain Altitude.
Love the terrain, commentary and trials skills. You seem like you’re having a good time and don’t take yourself too seriously. Looks like a fun crew to hang with also. Now you’ve got me watching Dales channel too! Whatever the new bike is, it probably won’t be a specialized…
Been folowing you for almost 2 years now. You are such a skillful rider and inspires me to get out as well. Your vids also are like trail asmr to me. I started out with loving pov flow trails and hated my trails bc its mostly tech. You got me in the mindset that with better skills, tech can also be fun.
Been watching pretty much since you started on YT and before you were at 1k subscribers. Love the channel: your skills are obvious; it’s great to have lots of Lower Mainland content for a local like me; but most importantly, as with Dale snd Nic too, I love the attitude and vibe you boys bring. Keep doing more of the same. Great video and nice to see some recent content, though it’s a little unfair to be following Dale on his local hill. Myself, I haven’t been out in probably two months, and won’t be able today either… but this vid has inspired me to get out very soon (Burke’s my local mountain too)! Edit: Wow, really recent… I see from Dales Strava feed that this was just yesterday!
My brother and I have been watching for like 4-5 months. We love your riding, inspiring and motivational. We love the “Danger” part of your name and you live up to it! Keep it going!
Started watching your videos middle of last year, brought here from Dale's vids. I just like that you guys are super positive and not overly aggro, just fun times. For your next bike, I'm guessing a Banshee Titan?
been watching for about 6 months. I love your trails and watching your amazing skills. You are so talented! Also, you are a really nice person, which means a lot to me.
Been watching a year and a half probably, love seeing the things you can do on a bike and the lines you can pick out, stuff a lot of people wouldn't see. Helps me be a bit more imaginative in my riding, although I don't have anywhere near the skill you do. I'm guessing the new bike will be a Knolly Warden.
you channel is my gateway to canada. Living in switzerland and dream to have some time to come over and get to enjoy your trails, despite the fact that we have awesome trail’s here. watching you since 1,5 years. Love the rawness and you skills, also that you challenge yourself and you don’t take it too serious. Also like le that you don’t sell you soul to brand commercials. Got the feeling you’re the same dave in person as on the channel. keep on shredding, I keep on watching. Lots of love from switzerland.🙌
YT algorithm made your videos pop in the suggestions one day and the rest is history. Now, You and Dale are the top riders that I look up to. From the type of bike build (yes, including Dale's bell) and the style of riding, its just so awesome that it influenced me big time. Power on, you two!
Absolutely love the channel! And I don’t remember are you sizing up from a small or down from a large? Sounds like up from a small if you have less weight on the front tire. But I digress, the reason I started following your channel was your awesome writing but I had gone to Squamish last July and UA-cam algorithms fed you to me, then of course I had to follow van cam and Dale, and the reasons is because I like the writing style! A little over my head, but not much, so I can see the potential of what I want to ride. Although I prefer a Hardtail and would love to see you on one that’s not a trials bike, but you do really well with the full suspension for sure! Thanks again for a great year of videos and I will be a devoted subscriber if you keep up the great videos!
Been watching since ~1.5years. Love your channel for the raw riding footage without to much talk or to much video time showing not actual riding footage. Keep it up, greetings from Germany
Been following your channel for about a year now. What makes me come back to watch is the way you handle those awesome trails, the way you're enjoying your rides. Your videos look simple and genuine. Bike guess is a Pivot Firebird. Just to say something. Keep up the good work!
I have watched for almost two years. Always so impressed with your ability to ride extreme tech with smooth and with great precision. I think your going to Norco and riding a Sight 🤔
Dave- Been watching almost from the beginning. The trails that you ride are amazing. The scenery, old forests, technical downhills just inspire me to ride more. You and Dale are very humble but amazing riders. I’m gonna guess Rocky Mountain Instinct. Keep it up!
I couldn’t actually tell you how long I have been watching your channel, I did look back to see if UA-cam had any information as to when I subscribed, but one early video I remember watching was an elevated feature that you decided not to ride but climbed up instead… I watch because you ride great trails, you are clearly skilled and obviously thoroughly enjoy riding. You have a manner that draws your viewers in and your commentary is always appreciated. Long may you ride!
Mr. Dangerous Dave, buddy, my son and I continue to watch your vids for these reasons, (in no particular order): your skill, you hardly talk on the trail, and when you do, it's little and positive, the sound of your videos is amazing, we love hearing your tires bounce off of things, and your attitude, it's just polite and personable. But what we really tune in for is, the trails you do; they're relatable to the average MTB bloke. Coupled with your positive attitude and your skill, it gives putz's like us hope we can do it too. Happy 2023 Dave, and thank you for everything!
I can relate to finding time to ride while working full time and having a family. I think your new bike is going to be a We Are One Arrival. Looking forward to another year of your videos.
Not sure how long but a while. I've only been riding seriously two years and found dale yourself and van can. I think it elevates my riding. I love listening to your guys commentary, opinions and the trail noise.
Probably been watching your channel for around a year. I love the amount of tech riding on your channel. I don't care for sculpted, smooth jump trails, so the rocks, roots, chunk with the use of trials skills ticks off all my boxes of what I aim for in my own riding, in years ahead.
The appeal of your channel is just the POV gnar. The kind of trail I wish they'd more of around here instead of boring flow trails. No music, just your commentary. Keep doing what you're doing.
What I like the most about your videos is the actual places you ride in, more specificity the ones in Canada. Being around all those trees it is so cool. I also like when you hand out with VanCan. You two guys are my favorite mountain bikers/you tubers. Keep up the good work. I would also like to hear more about the nice fleet of bikes you have. 🤙
Been watching since last year. Finally go to see your face :) What I like the most is how much fun you have, the skills, the content is unique, and the narrative. Great job, and you will be riding Specialize. Awesome, I am a winner!
Bag of money at the end of the trail? I think Dale is buying dinner. The best bike rider I ever knew said this to me once: "Your confidence to descend quickly is directly related to your confidence to stop quickly"
Stumbled on your channel a year ago as I was looking for some good mtb videos to watch while on my spin bike. Your videos are awesome to cut down on the monotony of a spin session and way cheaper than a peloton. Keep ‘em coming.
I've been watching for a little more then a year now, and I love you content because of your riding style. You are such a unique rider and so skilled with skinnies and other wood features, and just over all a super awesome guy! Keep up the good work Dave!
I really like seeing you go over all the technical features and the steep trails there in BC. Your trails make our nor cal steeps look tame, I have been watching your videos for about a year 👍
Been watching for more than 6 months. I watch your videos because of your skills and it just shows me what's possible on mountain bikes and motivates me to push my skill higher. Also, the trails in BC look amazing! I will be travelling there in the future to ride those trails for sure! Just need to upskill me a bit :)
amazing trails and features that would not be thought doable. A lot of MTB videos have creaking and poorly maintained bikes. Never seen on this channel so its a joy to watch and listen unlike many others! Cheers!
Watching just over a year, I'm a road cyclist but just love watching your streams - its the only MT Bike channel I watch, the coverage has a real feel to it. Techincal info is always valuable (tyre pressures?)... in case i buy one of these bikes.
I've been watching for about 1.5 years now, I enjoy the plain pov riding with your live audio. It's a nice brake in-between, I also enjoy the shorter videos of about 5-10mins. Keep it up and I'm looking forward to see the new bike
Happy New Year! ^^ I enjoy the most, the kind of trails you ride and your approach to attack technical stuff. Really inspiring and different 🙌🏽 And I also like how quiet your bikes are ;-)
Well, I’ve been watching your videos from August of 2021. I am not into MTB and as far as I know we don’t have trails like yours in Greece. Of course I might be mistaken. For some reason your videos popped into my recommended videos and after I watched one, in few weeks I almost saw all of your videos in your channel. Your kind character and your great skills make me keep watching your videos and also the fact that for some reason in stressful periods like the one where I started watching your videos, I feel relaxed so thank you Dave!
Happy new year, your channel got some different kind of feel, its just perfect for a short break during the day. Also your unique trial Skills are really mesmerizing to watch! Keep it up!
I first saw your gopro line video and loved the video and audio quality as well as the raw footage feel. This combined with your skills and the beauty of the area keep me hooked. I love that you let the bike and trail do the talking 🤙🏿
I've been watching for about a year and and some change. The spectacular footage with few edits and real time reactions are what keep me coming back! I've never been interested in the over produced content that you see on a lot of channels and just appreciate the raw feel of your channel. It's a similar style to what Dane Jackson does with his kayaking (if i remember correctly that's actually how I found my way here) Anyways keep up the great work!
Been watching since the beginning of lockdown as an antidote for not being able to get out and ride. I think most people have said it... great scenery, terrain that most of us couldn't ride, making it look easy but at the same time its clearly scary. There's also the soundtrack. Not too much chat and always the noise of the trail. The squelching, the rivers and the rain but also the 'silence' you get from riding in a wet forest. Dont turn it into a 'how to' channel, but I would like to know how you 'just' pop off what looks like a pretty sizeable drop. Cheers
I came along also with the beyond expert trail. Love you’re style on the bike, the videos are in great quality, you are always doing something different on the trails.. and honestly I just feel like we could have been friends and riding bodies, and it’s just who you are that attracts people :)
2 years, amazing riding, good quality, and I am thinking about Canada when I’m older (16 rn). Want to move there because of the riding, because right now I live in the Netherlands, which is flat… to see the trails over there, through your channel, is just amazing!🔥
Meditative thrill-ride. Beautiful forest/landscape mixed occasionally with perceived danger. Don't know, don't plan on riding, but I enjoy the relaxing terror, I guess :)
I've been watching your videos for a little over two years. You're always so positive and I enjoy your commentary. Your technical riding skills are what I aspire to. So bottom line your videos are fun, positive, and engaging for me to watch. Please keep them coming! (shot in the dark: forbidden druid)
hi dave! i've been subbed for... a couple of years now, i think? i was quickly hooked after the algorithm recommended that video of yours on the double black diamond trail, the one that went viral - as i'm sure must be true for lots of other folks. you're actually the only biking youtuber i follow! i don't ride (yet...? 👀) but i really enjoy the excitement of watching your pov rides. i did check out some other channels after i first found yours, but all i saw tended to lean much more heavily into the vlogging side of things, which just isn't my thing. i really love how much you focus you put on the ride itself! i also enjoy hearing your occasional interjection - it's always clear when you're having a fun time (your laugh is infectious)! 😁 i don't know enough about bike brands to have the foggiest idea about your new sponsor, so i'll leave that to more savvy viewers to figure out. but congrats, and happy new year to you! 💓
Been watching your channel for the past year. Between yours and Moi Moi TV, the POV videos are awesome. The trails look insane, I would love to get that level/confidence of riding one day.
I’ve been watching since the GoPro best line and love the laughter and playful lines. I head over to the lower mainland so use you to find bucket list rides, thanks in particular to turning me on to Pemberton!
I’ve been watching for over a year and I started watching because we live close and ride the same trails and I originally started watching so I could watch a trail be ridden before I rode it myself. I have continued to watch because I feel your technical skills are incredibly entertaining to watch and the trials skills you perform on mountain bike trails are amazing and unmatched on UA-cam
Not been watching long but I've binged a lot of videos...... it's the footage quality the skill level and the commentary. You seem like a cool guy and the trails you ride are awesome 😎
11:34 I remember one year on a hike up there one December, we overestimated how much light we had left and made it to the power lines right about at sunset, it's no fun walking out in the dark.

One more lap! One more lap! 🫡
I just love the RAWness of your videos man
Yesss!!!! its the reason I love this channel
Agreed. Just plain POV riding

Hey there! I had no idea what you looked like. Ha ha. Thanks for all the great stuff. You and Dales riding content are just top notch.
that footage looked great for how dark it was at the end, was this on the hero 11? (before you switched the the 8?)
I started with the Beyond Expert trail. I like how you are so genuine when you ride. Your joy and frustration seem real. More like you really enjoy and want to take us along on your ride.

I found you by watching VanCan and I enjoy the tech trails you ride. Been watching about a year.

Been watching since seeing you ride with Dale more than a year ago. Love your tech riding. Guessing a we are one arrival.
Been watching for about half a year I guess. But not sure. Found your channel through Dale. I love the interactions between the three of you (vancan).
I love that you are a regular dude. You have incredible skills too. The kind of riding you do is what I wish was around my area.
Knolly. Watching for a while, originally for the skinnies and seeing you ride with Nic and Dale

Started watching Dale awhile back and followed your channel as you have different strengths and it's interesting to see the technical side of things.

watching for about a year and your skill level with tech and everything really. the quality of your videos are amazing and it’s so fun to watch
The trials skills, the woodwork, the gnarly terrain, the beautiful landscape. It's the dream!!
Started watching about over a year now. My guess for your new bike is Norco Range. Size small.
2 years. I like the way you talk a little bit during your riding, small comments. And your vocie is just perfect to listen to!
YT algorithm made your videos pop in the suggestions one day and the rest is history. Now, You and Dale are the top riders that I look up to. From the type of bike build (yes, including Dale's bell) and the style of riding, its just so awesome that it influenced me big time. Power on, you two!
🛎️🛎️
Transition Patrol will be your new bike.
Been watching for 2 years. You have the best POV footage on YT!
Been watching for about 2/3 of a year, great content! My guess for the new bike is Santa Cruz Megatower
BIKE Guess - Forbidden Druid (for the trials jibs) or it could be the dreadnaught (for the slabs) or both!
Your trails make our nor cal steeps look tame, I have been watching your videos for about a year 👍
XR 5.9 good luck been watching about 1 year and the skills are what keep me coming back!
Your technical riding is some of the best. Video quality makes it easy to watch. We Are One Arrival
You channel is just you having fun on some awesome trails. It's perfect don't change it too much
I've been watching for about 1.5 years now, I enjoy the plain pov riding with your live audio. It's a nice brake in-between, I also enjoy the shorter videos of about 5-10mins. Keep it up and I'm looking forward to see the new bike
Happy New Year! ^^
I enjoy the most, the kind of trails you ride and your approach to attack technical stuff. Really inspiring and different 🙌🏽 And I also like how quiet your bikes are ;-)
Love the camera quality and the jibs on trails I’ve seen many times. Spice of life
Well, I’ve been watching your videos from August of 2021.
Keep it up!
Been watching for 6 months i think, good quality, and i really like you riding with you're friends and do a lot of tech routes.
I first saw your gopro line video and loved the video and audio quality as well as the raw footage feel. This combined with your skills and the beauty of the area keep me hooked. I love that you let the bike and trail do the talking 🤙🏿
Been watching for over a year, love the creative lines, amazing production quality, and the great commentary
I've been watching for about a year and and some change. The spectacular footage with few edits and real time reactions are what keep me coming back! I've never been interested in the over produced content that you see on a lot of channels and just appreciate the raw feel of your channel. It's a similar style to what Dane Jackson does with his kayaking (if i remember correctly that's actually how I found my way here)
Anyways keep up the great work!
I have been watching you for justice over a year or so and I watch you because I honestly love your ride style. I'm super jealous!!
hi dave! i've been subbed for... a couple of years now, i think? i was quickly hooked after the algorithm recommended that video of yours on the double black diamond trail, the one that went viral - as i'm sure must be true for lots of other folks.
you're actually the only biking youtuber i follow! i don't ride (yet...? 👀) but i really enjoy the excitement of watching your pov rides. i did check out some other channels after i first found yours, but all i saw tended to lean much more heavily into the vlogging side of things, which just isn't my thing. i really love how much you focus you put on the ride itself! i also enjoy hearing your occasional interjection - it's always clear when you're having a fun time (your laugh is infectious)! 😁
i don't know enough about bike brands to have the foggiest idea about your new sponsor, so i'll leave that to more savvy viewers to figure out. but congrats, and happy new year to you! 💓
Been watching your channel for the past year. Between yours and Moi Moi TV, the POV videos are awesome. The trails look insane, I would love to get that level/confidence of riding one day.
Been watching for nearly a year, I listen to you when doing my homework,it's relaxing.
That looks like a fun trail. I really enjoy your trials approach to trail riding. I've been watching your channel for about a year.
