Cosmoteer is a starship design, simulation, and battle game. Design a fleet of ships by laying out individual rooms and corridors, including cannons, lasers, shields, and thrusters. Battle other starships to earn bounties and use that money to expand your own ship. A dynamic crew and combat simulation makes every design decision important and interesting.

If you play this again, I have a few suggestions. First, put a power storage next to most of your weapons. This is to make sure that power is constantly supplied to weapons. Second, add one or more shield generators. And last, add more thrusters. This will give you the ability to dance around your enemy while they pathetically try to turn to hit you. Also gives you the ability to make a tactical retreat. Like So Blitz can see!

I found this game some days ago and really enjoy it.
Here are some tips for Blitz and everyone who wants to play for themselves:
1. You can center on the enemy ship during battle by clicking on it with the mouse wheel (or leftclick on the minimap).
2. Always have enough crew and energy, otherwise your weapons stop firing mid battle. The game recomends how many your ship needs.
3. If you build your ship, use the blueprint mode to not waste any money (first button in the down left corner in build mode).
4. You can position your ship relative to the enemy ship by holding shift. Especially usefull if your ship has broadside cannons and a big Ion beam in front.5. Protect your energy generators and command module, they are your ships hearts and brains.
6. Buy new ships after FTL jumps, not before. A lack of FTL fuel can be a little bit annoying, but a lack of money to buy more FTL fuel will be really frustrating.
7. With bigger ships, place your FTL drives wisely. 100% Efficiency saves a lot of FTL fuel.8. There are some fun built in mods. You want a bigger world than these few systems? You want to build a really enourmous capital ship? You want to start with a Billion spacebucks? You can!

Cosmoteer is getting a full steam release early 2021 with revamped graphics, a new campaign mode, new parts, resource system. You should play it when it comes out.

PLEASE play more of this! This game is so cool and it was really fun to watch you play, next time, you should try getting multiple ships :D
Little does everyone know, the game will be having a fully fledged steam release. It truly has come so far.
I love this game blitz- next time there is one more thing I'd like to see- more of the building aspect. I was basically screaming in my had every time you went to attack another person without building😂 Please continue this series!

Blitz the reason this game is so far in development is because it uses the engine from creeper world, a set of 3 or 4 flash games from way back when
How to destroy ships in Cosmoteer: 1.) Focus fire on the most dangerous weapons. 2.) destroy every powergenerator. Without power EVERYthing will be useless in a long run, because every facility needs power to run. Also powergenerators are basicly build in bombs that explode in a larger radius than other parts, so be shure to protect your own. 3.) A ship is rendered defeated in cosmoteer, if you destroy every powersource on board and the controlroom, so you can basicly focus your fire on these two components. 4.) Worth of the ships: you can compare the value of your ship to the value of your opponent: If your ship has a higher value it means you have more crew, more or stronger weapons, more expensive armour / shields etc. than your opponent and you have a bigger chance to come out victorious.
Looks like Starship theory, but only better :P

blitz i play cosmoteer also add more crew and a power storage if you cant afford a another reactor. that is vital for keeping your ship alive so you can deal more damage to other ships

If you go on their forums into "ship designs", all you need to do is open up creative mode in the game and just literally, grab an image off the forum and drag it into your game screen.
This game looks amazing! Next time could you do some more upgrades to your ship or even try to build a ship
Hey Blitz you need to just play around with the controls like you can right click on an enemy on the minimap and your ship will automatically target them
you can also hold Alt and highlight your ship and the enemies ship to follow both ships in battle at the same time
just look in the keymap for all of them.
USE SHIELDS so you dont have to repair everytime
Blitz you can click the map in the top right corner to follow the ship that's in it so you don't have to keep moving the screen.

step one, get an Ion beam to replace those center two weapons it'll tick out a bit but that's okay, step two, put a power storage right behind it (some rearrangement may be necessary) step three, profit as you literally cut ships in half with a massive laser

P.S.: If you like this game, then I recommend Elite: Dangerous. It is an open-world game where you can be anything such as an explorer, bounty hunter, pirate, or trader. At first, this game is fast-paced with you blazing through the ranks. Then you get to a point where you have to go at a snail's pace.

You can middle mouse click to focus your camera on a ship and follow it. It's way easier!

heres a tip for you blitz put as many missile launchers and ion beams on your ship as you can and if you put the missile launchers on the side of your ship they can flank the ship your fighting

you need energy storage it acts as a ammo storage and if you don't take damage repairs are free so have a shield generator
