Great video. I really enjoy tinkering and watching your videos gives me ideas. Here's another idea for you. How about making the watch also serve as a controller, and possibly even a monitor. I know that's a big ask but with the existing smart watches out there now, at least the monitor part should be attainable. As to the controller, given the bulk of the watch shown here, it would make sense to have the case also have a function, other than just a housing for the drone. The wrist band could unfold and lock into place to allow the sticks to be placed at each end of the band, (close to the buckles) allowing for them to be far enough apart for easy control once the watch is removed. As to the monitor being incorporated into the watch idea, that may not be as important since any smartphone could serve as a monitor, and most "spies" are probably going to also have a smartphone with them; that is unless they don't want to be detected, in which case a non GPS monitor might be pf some importance, even if it has to be worn on the other wrist.
Suggestion: heat seeking arrows for archery. Explanation: mount small thrusters or flight control surfaces to an arrow. Have an on-board controller with a detector (like a camera) control the control surfaces to direct the arrow to hit the target. On first thought, I think using a tiny camera, a powerful microcontroller, and servos to turn the fletching would work best.

I actually have this really cool force band, and it has some cool functions, but I think my favorite is where I control a Sphero BB-8 using arm motions when I wore the band, so what if you did that with then a drone so you could fly it around as if it were a part of you. (And maybe you could make it shoot nerf bullets when you thrust your arm hard but that is only a small suggestion.)

Hmm, you're probably going to have to make a custom drone for this project to reach the quality and performance you're looking for. The difficult part I think would be just how small your footprint requirements have to be for the internals if you continue with a full housing design. Maybe making a PCB board in several hard PCB parts and distribute them in the legs so that rather than having the large bulky top with a single PCB you reverse engineer the one you currently have and split the task among 8 single long PCB boards, and one smaller PCB "motherboard" of course you'll have to weigh the legs and balance them all equal to the heaviest leg to keep the drone stable. to allow for the longer legs/limbs use the legs of the "spider" as the banding of the watch. You might be able to do it with extremely small servos, but I think just using flexible PCB motors will make it easier for you to connect the leg segments, but also move the legs. I might design something like this or make it now that I think about it, but that's just my thoughts on it.

Make a small walker mech with side turrets so robo legs a place to stand that spins 360with a controller and side turrets maybe a chair or lid so you stay protected from enemy fire
Get a pipe, shove some aa batteries down it (so they all connect properly, maybe even wire up a bunch of 9 volts) and connect the negative end to one spike and the positive end to the other that way when the spear stabs or touches something conductive it will complete the circuit causing a sudden shock. It's pretty simple but a bit dangerous if not done right.

If you combine the mechanics that you used to make the material on the first expanding shield to rise from the watch in the first attempt you could make the drone rise without having to pull it out of the watch so you can make it take off quicker.
