good video the advantage of my playstyle is that getting used to it grants you insane finger control, but so far no one else has gotten even close to taking it to an useful level. the biggest disadvantage is that it also makes most "meta" maps absolutely unplayable, as spaced streams are as hard as tap+x alt and 1-2 pp jumps require very high bpm single(double)tapping. there's also the fact that stacks will instantly miss if you doubletap them, so you have to always be aware of stacks which makes high AR (10.3+) very hard, if not impossible to sightread and requires even some memorizing with HD.
I didn't realize there were so many variations. I feel better about my mutant playstyle now. I single-tap the majority with X, alt XZ for doubles and triples, as soon as it's a quad, burst or stream I add the left -click and alt across the three with both hands. (X, Z, LMB, Z repeating)
I have genuinely tried all of these before even knowing where they came from, as I dont have a usual playstyle and just improvise with whatever i can think of LOL. Ive even done full tablet which is very interesting. cool vdeo!1
Im surprisingly enjoying these education (for me at least) Osu vids. For how long I’ve been playing osu for Im always dumbfounded by how much I still don’t know about the game and community itself.
I had always been a tablet only player Might try tap X (The best I can do is 120 bpm on my stylus ONLY after 2 hours of training till my hand is shaking)
I basically play something along the line of "reverse Mayo" i alternate like lesjuh normally but I stream with ZX like emilia, so it's like lesjuh+emilia
Huh and I always aim with mouse and do s and d if there's a stream and I singletap if I have to do some >110bpm 1/4 or >220bpm 1/2, if not then I have half-bakingly fully alternate, although I kinda suck at alternating low bpm I have been improving by quite a bit into thus as time went on. I even do an alternate if I quickly realize that the stack is a half-beat, when there were like some double 1/4 beats or something...
I started doing reverse tobe just now and its pretty good for aim but i have my own problems with my tapping/clicking consistency on my fingers on the right and my left (im a mouse playe)
Ok so I had to search it up but yeah, apparenly, in 2018 (idk if he still does) he played would tap his pen on jumps but he wouldn't have mouse buttons enabled and so he still tapped with the keyboard, but it's only for jumps as he drags for everything else. I had no idea the RyuK even did this and thought that maybe you were talking about Kariyu before he swapped over to full area, before he swapped over to full area he used the exact same playstyle as ryuk, tapping the pen without mouse inputs on jumps and sliders and this time only dragging on streams and bursts.
good video

I just now discovered this playstyle and SOMEHOW BD is the easiest to play for me. I think I might stick with it since its cool and niché.

@@Rezeee well it's kinda different than bd's, since with his he gets note locked on every note, he also needs to be cautious with stacks.
