The IAT is a favorite hike. I haven't been bold enough to do an overnight yet...that is on my "to do" list. Right now, researching and over-researching with the plan to get on trail and overnight next spring. Any suggestions?
It is a great trail to do you first over-nighter on! For several in this group it was their first time! Particularly nice because of the rustic shelters that you can use, so you can escape the elements if need be when camping out there. I would actually strongly recommend any portion of the segments we did in this video for a spring over-nighter! Great for views and wildflowers! So check out the Milwaukee River, West Bend, Greenbush, and Parnell Tower segments!
