He doesn't like to talk about it. Je wasn't with the 101. He was in the 158th anit tank corps. The other 3 medics in his division were killed. He was the only one left to serve 200 men
Boy, I hope you've got your reactions in the can, so you won't get spoiled by commenters. This series is based on the book by historian Stephen Ambrose, based on interviews with then-surviving members of E Company. The characters are real, though their portrayals are not 100% accurate. Please consider another Tom Hanks miniseries, "From the Earth to the Moon" -- a history of the Apollo program, mission by mission.
My Dad was an Engineer with the Airborne and flew in that previous night on one of the gliders towed in. We only got select stories, but what he told us was incredible. He once punched an Officer in the face and went to the brig. And shot down a scout plane that kept flying over them trying find their position. A colorful soldier.
Glad you are seeing this....as you watch the remaining episodes, you will be amazed that about half of the Easy Company actors are British/Scottish!!! Their different USA accents - Brooklyn, San Fran, etc. - are nail on!!!!

Something that I read recently that was interesting was that Winters only went on the set once. All the actors were in the back of a truck, and he opened the tarp and others said they could just see the blood drain from his face. Winters later said he felt he saw ghosts on that day, because the casting was so good at getting actors who look so close to the actual people.
I LOVE when Oak was talking how he was into more documentaries than shows and Quinn was looking straight into the camera like “This dude is going to love this so much more he has no idea” lol
Calling it one of the best TV series ever made is no hyperbole. IMO, it's the best 10 hours of television ever made. The show is not only perfect storytelling and a fantastic story, but it's a technical masterpiece of filmmaking. Excited to see you guys react to it!
Honestly, this series is probably the best television ever made. It's absolutely wonderful. And I have no qualms shamelessly promoting it and spitting out fun facts such as the fact that throughout filming, all the actors were only known by their character name, so much so that when the army guy who consulted on the film talks about them, years, decades later, he still refers to them as their characters. The next is that the real people i.e. Wild Bill, Dick Winter, etc were even more amazing. And they were tough as nails. Couldn't keep those guys down.
There's so much they had to tone down for the show because they thought the audience would never believe it. The actual men were such superheroes they did things deemed too "unrealistic" for TV.
@@pabloc8808 I know right? It's so fascinating listening to the podcasts (done for the 20th anniversary) and learning about the OG guys. Really just Legends.
If they haven't seen it yet, every war show they watch after this will be 2nd rate.. And EVERY reaction I've watched has the same laugh and chuckle the first time they see "Ross" as Capt Sobel.
The Band of Brothers experience is either 1) you watched it when it was new and you've spent the last 20 years realizing that you recognize every other up-and-coming actor from a bit part in the show, or 2) you watched the show later on and are mystified about why X actor only got a bit part.
Only one that comes close is Chernobyl or pacific. And true detective before they decided to continue it with more seasons. Band of brothers is the personification of perfection
@@trev9168 chernobyl is still on my to watch list, but i love the pacific mention bc, while i do have a preference over band of brothers *overall*, i also did love the pacific for what it was and i don't think it gets the praise it deserves tbh. 😭
This is a 10/10 perfect show. One of the vets came to the filming and walked away from the set because he said "he was looking at ghosts" that speaks volumes on how much they put into being true to those who didn't make it.
Buckle up guys. You're in for a ride... Edit: As a vet (though not in wartime), soldiers always rely on humor. Dark humor, gallows humor, light hearted humor, anything and everything to get the mind off of the task at time.
Dark humor, e.g.: "There was blood upon the risers, there were brains upon his 'chute Intestines were a-dangling from his paratrooper suit They poured it from his helmet and they poured it from his boots And he ain't gonna jump no more" to the tune of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic".
Do me a favor guys, encourage them to watch Schwimmer's BEST role in a serious war movie called "Uprising" which was done around the same time as Band of Brothers. He was EXCELLENT in it. These guys would have an amazing reaction to a VERY important story as far as I'm concerned. Schwimmer was excellent in that role.
I honestly dont understand how you guys have never seen Band of Brothers after over twenty years but Im glad we get to experience it with you now. Enjoy the greatest television show ever made. One that actually nails the landing.
Sobel was absolutely real and portrayed in the series as described by the men of Easy when Stephen Ambrose interviewed them for his book of the same name. That being said, he did not want to comment / be interviewed himself and so he kinda missed an opportunity to refute any of the claims against his character. For those who haven't read the book, there's also a funny anecdote about Sobel's lack of coordination even when he shouldn't have needed a map. It's been a while since I read the book but I'll try and recount it from memory: I can't recall if it was the incident where someone impersonated Major Horton or whether it was a seperate incident where the guys had messed with him, but in an attempt to get his own back Sobel took a chance when the men were sleeping in foxholes as part of their training. Essentially he went around and stole their guns while they slept, with the aim of chastising them the next morning for not having looked after their weapon. Supposedly Sobel ended up getting lost during the night and instead went around taking the guns from Fox company instead. Easy company started getting yelled at the next morning for not having looked after their weapons but they were all dumbfounded since...well...they were holding their weapons. Later, a pissed off Fox company showed up demanding their weapons back. It should be said, that even though Sobel gets a bad rap both in the book and on the show, whether they liked him or not, I think every man agreed that Sobel "made" Easy what it was.
Do me a favor, encourage them to watch Schwimmer's BEST role in a serious war movie called "Uprising" which was done around the same time as Band of Brothers. He was EXCELLENT in it. These guys would have an amazing reaction to a VERY important story as far as I'm concerned. Schwimmer was excellent in that role.
I did watch this a few years back, and seeing this now I'm just realising that Schwimmer shot this DURING Friends. That's insane. That guy did not get enough credit as an actor.
Sobel was real. He was a real A-Hole. And what is funny, the only difference between him cutting the fence that let the cows out. In real life, it was done in the middle of the night.
There's some controversy about that, Sobel's family claims the Easy men portrayed him in a negative light due to antisemitism; not saying he wasn't a dick, just that maybe he wasn't as much of a dick as shown here. Plus, the vets themselves acknowledged that Sobel's training kept them alive and was the reason they were able to do some of the things they did. Also Sobel fought in Normandy and, despite his well-earned reputation as a bad field commander, he was outstanding, immediately after landing he led his men to destroy an MG nest and then went on to fight at Carentan.
@@pabloc8808 There's a few cases of this (the worst being with Dike in a later episode). It's a problem of this series adapting Ambrose's book to the memories of the Brothers instead of getting a full picture of every side character. It makes for a fantastic story but completely susceptible to bias.
@@kueller917 Yup, Ambrose's book is a textbook example of what NOT to do as a historian. He got so much wrong because he was lazy and generally incompetent, it's not that hard to double check information you get from primary sources by simply... finding other primary sources. Or records. Or anything, really, but he just didn't bother.
Great that you watch with subtitles. Makes it easy to follow who is who - for when vets names are ultimately revealed in the finale and in the documentary. Speaking of which, please be sure to watch the accompanying HBO documentary once you finish the miniseries. It serves as a perfect capstone/ episode 11 with lots of context from all the vets. It is called “We Stand Alone Together.” The men disliked Sobel and definitely knew he wasn’t cut out to be a combat leader but they did give him credit for his tough training getting them ready. In the meantime - enjoy the amazing ride about these amazing men.
Great reaction! I love this series! As a veteran myself, there is a lot more levity than what people think. It really helps you to mentally get through training and anything else that comes your way.
Lol Mason Quinn said he's watched this show multiple times and owns the DVDs and then 5 seconds later the graphic says "first time watching" for all 4 guys lol
Simon Pegg - Cornetto Trilogy, Mission Impossible, The Boys - delivered the court martial notice in the jeep. This series has at least one young star I know will blow your minds. This series will leave you shell shocked, proud and in tears.
I remember most of this filming down the road from me in the UK (as well as Saving Private Ryan). I distinctly remember being in a history lesson & we'd hear WW2 planes & explosions going off. A couple of years later, i believe in 2003, our great history teacher showed us an episode. I've rewatched the show almost every Christmas since then.
My father was in the Army Air Corps, and my mother joined the Marines in World War 2 when she was just 19. I'm looking forward to all your reactions to this fantastic series.
It's amazing how often reacters completely miss Michael Fassbender's appearance. It's not even a small one; he's the guy who has to redo the no-water run.
The first time I saw BoB was in the fall, and so, just like you, fall comes around, and I HAVE to watch it again. Last year, one of my DVD's was scratched, so I went and upgraded to Blu-ray. 😊
Oh this is going to be good. Just wait until Why We Fight. Hey you should watch the documentary We Stand Alone Together after this series. Should be on the discs if you're watching from DVD or Bluray.
Why We Fight and the documentary can make any grown man with a soul cry. The documentary is both heartbreaking and heartwarming, those men were truly a different breed. "A different time".
@pabloc8808 Oh hell yeah. I'm nearly 40, have served myself, and have watched this over a dozen times. "Why We Fight" makes me cry every single time.
Good review guys. I agree that Band of Brothers is the one of the best if not the best show ever made! Interesting fact that Sobel was an excellent training officer but was not good in the field. Yes Sobel was real and was the first commanding officer of easy company and yes his Sargents did rebel against him. Many of the men of Easy Company who trained under Sobel who survived, including some of the men who "rebelled" against him later in life admitted that the hard training they received under Sobel as one of the reasons they were able to survive the war. So what Col Sink did giving him the command of a training school was the best allocation of his resources.
I saw this serie a few times now. I remember when it was on Dutch tv I hated that I had to wait a week for the next episode and on a Sunday while I had to go back to base the next morning to NCO school. The story and buildup is so good and as a vet and growing up with stories from my grandparents who lived through WW2 it hits so close to home. I even had the honour to talk to some of pur Canadian liberators on our national libaration day in the 90s. Brilliant series. And all those Brits playing Americans is amazing.
Regarding the training…… Camp Toccoa Georgia was the FIFTH consecutive boot camp for Winters. He went to boot camp (#1) at Camp Croft SC in Sept 1941 when he joined the Army in August 1941. Instead of staying with his unit he was assigned to be one of the drill instructors for the next boot camp. (#2) When that boot camp was over Winters, a college graduate, was assigned to OCS (#3) at Ft. Benning Ga in April 1942 as a trainee. (He met Nixon there as a fellow trainee) When OCS was over and he was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. he was once again assigned to Camp Croft as a DI (boot camp #4) because there were no openings at Parachute Training. Several weeks he was transferred to Camp Toccoa (#5). Camp Toccoa was a combination boot camp/parachute training. Winters, Nixon & Sobel trained the men for their boot camp but joined them as fellow trainers in parachute training.
Man, it's been more than a decade since I watched this. My sister and I watched this together with our mother and it's something I've never forgotten. It's a documentary series with filmed scenes, very beautiful and respectfully made. This had such a big impact on me and gave me so much insight in the times of war and the people from the time. Very good series to see for everyone who has an interest in WOII.
I have been feeling quite stressed and odd lately; I moved to another country a couple of days ago and it has taken a lot of work to make that actually happen. I'm very excited about this new chapter in life, however, I'm still quite exhausted from the past months. A couple of years ago I woudn't have imagined how much happiness I could get from seeing that some youtube reactor starts to react to a show I love, and now I gotta say that you guys put a huge smile on my face yesterday and I felt my worries melting away as I was watching your reaction. I'm sure you're gonna enjoy the show - it is amazing! Thank you for your existence and cheers&love from this Finnish person now living in Greenland!
Absolute masterpiece. My grandfather also fought in the war for the allies ( Royal Australian Army ) so I feel a connection to the story being told. I watch this series at least once per year. Mason knows what the guys are in for.... one hell of an experience.
Let’s gooooooo! I love y’all’s reactions and I love Band of Brothers (I grew up with it and the 101st- I’m an army brat) and to see yall reacting to it I’m excited! Can’t wait to follow y’all’s journey with this series. Definitely look at The Pacific and Master of the Air after as well if you haven’t yet!
Haven't watched Masters of te Air yet but The Pacific is so much bleaker than Band of Brothers (for a reason, of course). It's a fantastic show but I was shook watching it, we know a lot about the Pacific Theater but don't really understand how much worse it was than Europe for those men.
I am so shocked but SO HYPED! I've watched this so much too, own several of the books about and from these men, and back in the day (2003) I used to talk with some of the actors on the BoB forums, posting fan art etc. (Michael Cudlitz was super nice.) My pride and joy is a signed copy of the BoB hardcover from one of the real Easy Co men before he passed away. I won't say which one, as to not spoil that he survives in the show :)
You guys are doing some amazing series right now, so excited for the next few weeks. My grandpa married his sweetheart and joined up. He was 22. He served in the pacific where he earned two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star for heroic actions. He never spoke about it much, but he said that mail call was the worst time, hearing the name called out of someone who was killed just the day before. Even in his old age whenever he walked in the mountains behind his home he couldn’t stop himself listening for snapping twigs or the shuffle of gear. My husband’s grandfather lied about his age and joined the navy at 16. The men of that age were built different, I can’t fathom it.
When my parents moved house in 2015 they had a box of dvds they were getting rid of. My delight was complete when I saw Band of Brothers there. Had first dibs on the dvds so snapped it up. Have watched it once a year ever since.
I was in Saudi on 9/11 and came back stateside at the end of September for some additional training in D.C. before being redeployed. I watched most of this series from a hotel room in Maryland during that few weeks of training. I re-watch it once a year and it's every bit as good over 20 years later, but it still puts me in mind of those crazy days right after 9/11. A lot of people will tell you that The Pacific isn't as good a series, but I think it's every bit as good and absolutely worth the watch in the future.
So jealous you guys are getting to watch this for the first time. Truly a masterpiece that still holds up today. This is series I rewatch every year and I’ve watched multiple channels react. Just an amazing piece of cinematic art. Enjoy, boys.
Flashing back to training was a real nice device to get aquainted with the characters. Knew it was a winner when the Vets were speaking of their experiences during the intro. I own the set.
A quick search of the main channel page suggests that the Baddies may not yet have experienced another of HBO's finer miniseries, "John Adams." If y'all are going on an American history binge, I'd heartily recommend having a go at that one.
Peaky Blinders and Band of Brothers, you guys are too good to me. ❤ Yeah guys this one is legendary. I usally watch it once a year for over a decade now. Much love!
One of the cable channels (History, i think) plays the series twice a year - Memorial Day weekend and around Dec 7. I watch it every time. This is such a well made series.
This is my favorite series ever. I usually watch it once every couple of years. It is fantastic. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have, seems like from this first episode that is going to be the case.
The amount of work they put into molding the actors into the men of Easy is so cool. The fact the actors all took time to talk to the real men easy and their loved ones to learn how to best portray them. The made the actors go through bootcamp together to bond.
I am a huge fan of this channel, I wanted you guys to know this series really inspired me on my weight loss journey. I will be running two foot races on Currahee mountain on Oct, 5th in honor of the hero's that trained on that mountain and then fought for our freedom. Thank you so much for all that you guys do.
31:08 you can UA-cam the Ron Livingston special feature from the DVD set to see the training regimen the actors went through. They got it pretty damn close to the real deal.
I went over to Europe with my dad this spring on a BoB tour through Stephen Ambrose Tours and followed their footsteps. Went to Toccoa, visited England, crossed the channel to Normandy went over the bridges of market garden, ran the field in crossroads, walked through the forests of Bastogne, saw Dachau, and captured the Eagles nest. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Recommendation: The National WWII Museum did a weekend symposium for the 20th anniversary. Many of the actors, writers, and children of the actual soldiers attended and had sessions. Those can all be found on UA-cam. It is very interesting and also entertaining.
Shifty Powers niece was on our tour. She brought his actual jump wings and clicker along! Absolutely highly recommend this tour. We got to see way more from WWII than just BoB. We had a full time historian and he personally knew many of the actual men, and boy did he have some Stories.
I think this is the one of the best tv shows ever made. They just make it so real somehow. I'm really looking forward to your reactions to these episodes. There's so many scenes that I can't wait to see what you think and feel about.
Band of Brothers is a timeless series. It's not a "war" tv show, it's not a "history" tv show. This portrays the triumphs, heartbreak, struggle, and persistence of the American, and human, spirit. You can watch this series from a psychology lens and learn about mindset and growth. You can learn how to be a strong leader. You can explore the depths of human bonding and go through the various stages of team development: forming, storming, norming, and performing. Band of Brothers shows us how men grow and connect, how we can rise to occasions, how we can uplift each other, and how we can work together for a common cause. I love this show, and I'm so glad you guys are (finally) watching it. These men were the greatest generation, and people we, in modern times, can look to for inspiration - not to "feel better" but to work towards.
You are about to embark on a unique television series. The story of exceptional people and their incredible emotional sacrifice. You will know and remember them them by name by the end of the show 😁
Welcome to the miniseries! One of the quirks of being in the service is that you can formally affiliate with a unit you serve with. When I was serving in the Army in 2003, I was assigned to the 1/506th in South Korea, and this miniseries was required watching for us. They left such an impression on me that I affiliated with them, and I carried their insignia with me to each successive unit. These guys are like extended family to me.
Bro, i started this series a month ago and I still haven't been able to get through the episodes, but what I've seen so far is really good. It's cool that they reacted to it on the channel.
My grandpa and three great uncles served in the war, one of my uncles died on iwo jima and I got to tell another one thanks for my freedom, he said him and a lot of guys spent at least a night in a field in Europe with bullet wounds, love this series
Former Army Infantryman here to drop an answer to some questions you had. Basic Training was not what was shown in the beginning of this show - they were at Airborne School initially and then moved on to other field exercises after (Sobel ordering them to move from the Trench in the woods, training in England etc). Basic Training is a lot more strict, with very little leeway given to the trainees. You conduct Army tasks Monday-Saturday with Sunday "off" where you clean the barracks and attend Church services if you desire. This drags on for months, and you truly do become a team while doing it. You have guys from all walks of life, different countries, ages, experience. The moment I remember it clicking for me was our first obstacle course. It is a race against the other 3 platoons, not just the individuals around you. You get that sense of coming together to accomplish something that you quite literally couldn't do alone. The camaraderie you build is unlike anything I've experienced in civilian life. A little additional tidbit about Basic Training and just how strict it is: when you are getting chow from the dining facility there is a specific way you must stand while waiting in line. If you mess up at any point during the line to get food you are forced to the back of the line. Each dining table seated about 30-40 soldiers and if ANY of the soldiers looked up from their plate during the 10 minutes you have to eat, the Drill Sergeants would tell the entire table they were done eating and you would immediately discard the remaining food you had. And that 10 minutes started the moment the first person in line sat at that table. This is why military folks tend to eat incredibly fast, because it is drilled into us that if we don't you literally will not get to eat your food.
Rarely have I ever seen a more well matched show and reactors. Cannot wait for you to experience this. Hands down the greatest miniseries ever made. I would HIGHLY recommend watching not only key the documentary episode included on the DVD’s, but also Ron Livingstone’s vlog series from the incomparable training by the legendary Captain Dye (who plays Col. Sink in BoB)
What a treat to be with the four of you as you get to experience this magnificent series! There’s a great epilogue called We Stand Alone Together: The Men Of Easy Company that brings the focus back on the real guys that is worth watching after the episodes. There’s also a fabulous extra from the DVD that’s also on UA-cam that is a behind-the-scenes look at the actor boot camp held before filming. The boot camp was led by Dale Dye (he of the easily imitated voice) who also plays Horton in the mini-series and who also conducted a boot camp for the actors of Saving Private Ryan. Peace from Ohio …
“When I went in, I was eighteen. I thought it was all glory and you win lots of medals. You think you’re going to be the guy. Then you find out the cost is very great. Especially when you don’t see the kids you were with when you went in. Living with it can be hell. It’s like the devil presides in you. I knew what I sighed up for, yes, and I would do it again. But the reality of war-words can’t begin to describe it.” William “Wild Bill” Guarnere Easy Company, 101st airborne

When you rewatch the show numerous times, it gets you emotional seeing these guys back in boot camp. They're so happy and carefree.
Exactly. I can’t imagine going through and then jump in the dark to not see some of them again while being 20 years old.
This is a 10/10 perfect show. One of the vets came to the filming and walked away from the set because he said "he was looking at ghosts" that speaks volumes on how much they put into being true to those who didn't make it.
What's great is that you guys just started watching Peaky Blinders, and Aunt Pol (RIP) was married IRL to Damian Lewis who leads this series.
Buckle up guys. You're in for a ride...
Edit: As a vet (though not in wartime), soldiers always rely on humor. Dark humor, gallows humor, light hearted humor, anything and everything to get the mind off of the task at time.
Dark humor, e.g.:
"There was blood upon the risers,
there were brains upon his 'chute
Intestines were a-dangling
from his paratrooper suit
They poured it from his helmet
and they poured it from his boots
And he ain't gonna jump no more"
to the tune of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic".
Sobel is real. His son was still going to Easy Company reunions. There are interviews about the portrayal of him.
They make him come off as a real asshole but in honestly his harsh training regimen ensured they'd survive what was to come.
@@Shadowpack95 These were almost all young "boys". He helped make them men.
@@Shadowpack95 if he was competent, regardless of his training method and leadership, they might have still succeeded albeit some setbacks
I honestly dont understand how you guys have never seen Band of Brothers after over twenty years but Im glad we get to experience it with you now. Enjoy the greatest television show ever made. One that actually nails the landing.
I am shocked you guys have not seen this series, you are in for a treat fellas enjoy.
It's been a while since I read the book but I'll try and recount it from memory:
I can't recall if it was the incident where someone impersonated Major Horton or whether it was a seperate incident where the guys had messed with him, but in an attempt to get his own back Sobel took a chance when the men were sleeping in foxholes as part of their training.
Somehow I got it into my head that you had seen this already. You guys are in for a treat.
Only MQ has seen it. 🤜🤛
So glad you guys are doing this series! I watched this series 8+ times in the past 2 years
Sobel was real. He was a real A-Hole. And what is funny, the only difference between him cutting the fence that let the cows out. In real life, it was done in the middle of the night.
He wasn’t some failure though. He went on to win awards for valor and did well in the Army for over 20 years.
There's a documentary about Sobel on UA-cam. He might have won some awards, but he had a tough time postwar
You , my dudes , are in for a ride .
BoB needs to be shown in every High School history class .
Oh good, a new cry session once a week with the boys
Great that you watch with subtitles. Makes it easy to follow who is who - for when vets names are ultimately revealed in the finale and in the documentary.
Speaking of which, please be sure to watch the accompanying HBO documentary once you finish the miniseries. It serves as a perfect capstone/ episode 11 with lots of context from all the vets. It is called “We Stand Alone Together.”
The men disliked Sobel and definitely knew he wasn’t cut out to be a combat leader but they did give him credit for his tough training getting them ready.
In the meantime - enjoy the amazing ride about these amazing men.
I loooooove Band of Brothers. Watch it at least once a year. Looking forward to Oaks reactions especially
Great reaction! I love this series! As a veteran myself, there is a lot more levity than what people think. It really helps you to mentally get through training and anything else that comes your way.
FINALLY! Band of Brothers is one of the greatest pieces of entertainment ever made. So glad you guys are finally getting to see it.
Lol Mason Quinn said he's watched this show multiple times and owns the DVDs and then 5 seconds later the graphic says "first time watching" for all 4 guys lol
Yeah I did a double take but couldn't be bothered to rewind . . . Thx for saving me the trouble
I cant wait for you guys to see the documentary after finishing the series. It is an emotional journey
OMG YES!! I always assumed you'd all watched this already and that's why there were no reactions, I'm so excited!
It's amazing how often reacters completely miss Michael Fassbender's appearance. It's not even a small one; he's the guy who has to redo the no-water run.
He was such a baby, and with the American accent, it's easy to miss.
I go back and watch this series every year in the fall. Glad y’all are starting this series.
The first time I saw BoB was in the fall, and so, just like you, fall comes around, and I HAVE to watch it again. Last year, one of my DVD's was scratched, so I went and upgraded to Blu-ray. 😊
The actors did a military style bootcamp before filming...you can find it on UA-cam 😊
And so, the Band of Brothers journey begins anew.
Regarding the training……
Camp Toccoa Georgia was the FIFTH consecutive boot camp for Winters.
He went to boot camp (#1) at Camp Croft SC in Sept 1941 when he joined the Army in August 1941. Instead of staying with his unit he was assigned to be one of the drill instructors for the next boot camp. (#2)
When that boot camp was over Winters, a college graduate, was assigned to OCS (#3) at Ft.
Oak is going to love this because it's based on historical events and they interview actual veterans.
It is amazing how fast he goes from Ross to Capt, Sobel. Credit to the writers, directing and the acting to make that transition so quick.
If you didn't know: Damian Lewis, who plays Winters, was married to the late Helen McCrory, who plays Aunt Polly in Peaky Blinders.
And I could be wrong, but I think she played Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter series as well.
@@JohnLoutsenhizer Yep, she did.
My favorite series of all time, idk how many times I've personally watched it or how many reactions.
Absolute masterpiece. My grandfather also fought in the war for the allies ( Royal Australian Army ) so I feel a connection to the story being told. I watch this series at least once per year.
Mason knows what the guys are in for.... one hell of an experience.
This is always a must watch when a reaction channel starts covering Band of Brothers. It’s a truly excellent series.
(Michael Cudlitz was super nice.)
My pride and joy is a signed copy of the BoB hardcover from one of the real Easy Co men before he passed away.
This is by far my favorite show of all time...you guys are in for one hell of a ride...
Oh I loved John Adams. I watched like 3 times..
I'll second this, as well as toss along my infinite regard for how John Adams conducted himself in regards to the Boston Massacre.
@TheMadSentinel that would be a good one too
Peaky Blinders and Band of Brothers, you guys are too good to me. ❤ Yeah guys this one is legendary. I usally watch it once a year for over a decade now. Much love!
Been watching you guys for a while and enjoying each visit. This series and your review is worth the extra thanks!
Thank you very much for the super 🤜🤛
One of the cable channels (History, i think) plays the series twice a year - Memorial Day weekend and around Dec 7. I watch it every time. This is such a well made series.
This is the mini series I watch twice a year. It’s so good.
Twice? better pump them numbers up lol
@@morbidangel2424 I thought that was already quite a bit 😂
As a veteran I’ve watch this series like 8 times and it makes my cry every time every episode.
Your ads are always 10/10 😂 Give Answer his Oscar.
I honestly don't think anything can prepare Oak for whats to come. This show set the bar for WW2 presentation in media
I need to take this tour! That sounds absolutely incredible! -Oak
Finally! Been looking forward to this. I am sure you'll do this amazing series justice.
Bro, i started this series a month ago and I still haven't been able to get through the episodes, but what I've seen so far is really good. It's cool that they reacted to it on the channel.

But the reality of war-words can’t begin to describe it.”
