this is very close to cyberpunk cities

Hong Kong is often seen as a real-world place with a touch of cyberpunk. The tall buildings, bright neon lights, and bustling city life look like something out of a cyberpunk story. But, it's missing the extreme social problems and super-advanced tech found in classic cyberpunk tales, so it's more of a cyberpunk-inspired city than a full-blown cyberpunk one.
