I like what he said about being able to 'miss' someone. If you're seeing someone new and it starts out all hot and heavy and there's always constant texting, calling, coming over, etc., that gets old, fast. If you both feel the same about each other and there's a real spark there, take it slow, which, I know is not always easy. Make it to where you both 'have a life' of your job, your family and friends. Don't act like they're the only person in your life! Then, when you do see each other, you look forward to it and there's almost a 'euphoria' about it, like a 'honeymoon' phase. Does that make sense?

Some people like to chase that high, to feel euphoric in relationships. Some don't! I used to think that that feeling was important but it only made the relationship toxic in the end. I realized that i shouldn't chase that high anymore. Now I'm in a 5 year relationship that is the most stable from all the previous ones i had. We don't feel euphoric, but we have peace, trust, stability, love and respect for eachother. whenever i am with him, it feels like a warm cozy home.

It's impossible to have love without respect. Euphoria can't last forever. It's exhausting. Having someone you feel so at peace like in a 'warm, cozy home' is a wonderful thing! A young man, who is an extended family member that I haven't talked to in many years contacted me on FB. He told me the most heart-warming thing tonight. We used to visit his parents when they and my boys were young. He said he used to love to be around me and my husband because we were funny and sweet to each other and it was obvious how in love we were and that's what he wanted when he got married! I almost cried!

It’s honestly not that weird when I was 15 I was friends with my neighbours kids I would always go play on their trampoline with them and they were 11, 10 and seven years old. Their parents would also make lunch and they would have barbeques and would always invite me over whenever they were eating outside in the back and feed me as well I loved my neighbors...so it is possible.

I agree, It seems like Scott & Kourtney could never really get it together on a serious note to make their relationship work out, Scott on the other hand was always looking for an escape route and ending up taking things for granted when it came to Kourtney's needs so it always ended with more of a miss than a hit with them two lol! seriously if it wasn't for the children I don't think anything productive would have came out of that relationship.Thank goodness they are able to coparent successfully.

They didn't seem like they would go together. I was hoping her & Scott would get back together & they would finally get married. U always try & hope for a family to stay together, but if it's toxic with Scott & she's happy with Travis, that's what's important. Maybe it'll work, since they have been friends for awhile & had a friendship prior to the relationship.

I feel the same way! I also wanted Scott and Kourtney to get back together. I guess cuz your right, you want to see a family stay together. Then I remember some episodes of where the scott as a wild crazy guy. I'm sure he'll calm down over time, but it appeared like a toxic relationship. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I can imagine how hard it was for Kourtney to break up with him after so many years and she's taken him back alot before. It seems like she's protecting her heart.

I mean first glance they're like an unlikely couple but watching Travis interviews, I'm like, ooooh. He's like a rockstar version of Kourt in real life. Vegan, takes the "natural", healthy living approach to life, has grown kids and are both at the same stage in life. Defo more compatible than Scott & Kourt.

At first I was mad because well Travis has been my man since I was like 12 lmao but I felt the Kardashian’s are shallow & attention seekers. But I think Kourtney is a little more reserved & down to earth like Travis. I’ve followed him since early Blink. They’re both into fitness & health & wellness & have kids & have been through breakups/divorces.

She is definitely a little more reserved than her sisters, she's also naturally prettier than all of them except for Kendall who I think is equally as pretty as Kourtney. Kourtney comes across like an Ice Queen, very cold personality wise she's quite the prickly pear, she's definitely not a warm, huggy feely type of person that's for sure, she's also boring asf, and that monotone nasally voice would do anyone's head in! That said she is still better and prettier than all of her sisters except for Kendall who is also naturally quite pretty. IMHO Kendall has a much sweeter personality, Kendall is definitely much warmer than Kourtney she also has a nicer tone to her voice and legs for days!

Honestly this relationship might actually go somewhere since both of them are parents so they both value children and understand what its like to be a parent and don't think of it as "baggage" while all the others Kourtney or even Scott dated were a lot younger and ofc they would see their children as if they're in the way especially bcs Kourtney and Scott are so close and good friends co-parenting.
