When you are downshifting are you blipping the throttle when dropping gears or are you just using clutch and shifting?

Since installing the slipper clutch on this bike a few years ago, I mostly just clutch and shift, but I do blip occasionally, a habit left over from the days before the slipper was installed. Back then, without the slipper, blipping the throttle was a must on this bike, especially for this kind of riding.

Track848. Oh okay awesome and did you say that you had a shop install the slipper clutch?

Yes, I bought the EVR Slipper and had it installed at a local shop. If you're mechanically inclined, though, this is an easy DIY project. If you have a stock 848 you will need a wet clutch basket holding tool, otherwise all other tools are pretty much standard...
