Hi guys, I am an expat from Texas now living in the Philippines for more than 3 years. In 2004 I had met some people that owned a Travel and adventure Company in Dumagete, so they set me up with a guide to go to Cassaroro Falls. JoJo was his mane and he picked me up on his motorbike. We went through Valencia to where the paved road ended and a dirt road went up into the mountains to the Falls. We had to walk up to the falls. At that time, there was no buildings, just a steep metal stairway down into the canyon. Being a Naturalist, I was amazed by the Flora and Fauna I found in the Canyon. When we got to the Falls, I sat in the water and cooled down. His wife had fixed some sandwiches for us and we sat and ate. After resting for a while, it was time to walk back up, and then down to dirt road to his bike. Along the way, a snake crossed the road and I ran toward the snake, which freaked out JoJo. The snake slid into the bushes before I could get a good look at it. Then it rained....and rained. Needless to say, we got soaked. But it was a great trip, the Falls. were beautiful. I'm glad that y'all enjoyed it. I am retired now and we live near to Lake Taal and Volcano and love the Nature that is all around me. Good Luck on your adventures.

In Negros we have hot spring its because Negros is the home of one of the active volcano in the country. If you travel into Negros Occidental by bus about 6hrs Drive from Dumaguete. There is another hot spring in there Located in Murcia the Place called Mambukal... U can go also in La Carlota in Guintubdan
Love casaroro falls and those hot springs too. Probably one of the most beautiful waterfalls is Just a short ferry ride across to southern Cebu in Oslob (where the whale sharks are), called Tumalog falls. Lots of hot springs around the country probably due to volcanoes.
