OLd metal head from Texas here, just stumbled across this band recently and now I cant stop listening. I just wish I could hear it again for the first time.

Man whoever the sound engineer is on this deserves a lot of praise. You can very clearly hear every drum, every cymbal , the bass is very clear, can hear the differences in the guitars. This is the best live mix I have heard from this band.
Japanese female Bands brings back all the 80' 90' Rock and Metal music to the World and do magic with their music instruments, 7string guitars, 5, 6, 7 string bass and do bass solo's...you don't have this kind of music and bands anymore in the West....now I look East for Rock and Metal Bands

Is it just my perception or have performances of this song made it more brutal than at its inception? This is an outrageously gorgeous mallet blow to the senses.
They've tweaked about couple of times the dissonance that was for about 2-3 seconds between Hazuki and Saki's quitars during the harmony/solo guitar duel (around the moment 3:30 in this clip). Other than that... Oiran always kicked arse, right from the first studio-clip version release.
Why do they make me so emotional? Can anyone explain? Is it just an old guys longing for his youth? Is it the talent, work ethic, charisma, or pure joy watching their well earned success? I have no idea, but love this band. ❤️🌸
We need a large production tour like this outside of Japan. The ladies are in their element and sound awesome... especially Tamu, pure Thunder on those drums!...Update. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to this now and man, this mix! The guitars are so clear and you can make out and appreciate the interplay between Saki and Hazuki. They mesh so perfectly back and forth, and those pinch harmonics are piercing! I also love the subtle difference they have when backing each other's solo. You can't also miss that thunderous. foundation laid down by Haraguchi-san and Tamu. And of course Mayu's vocals are outstanding!

I love this song! This was my first run-in with Nemophila, and OIRAN will stay forever on my playlist for as long as I live. No other song I have ever heard for the first time from any other band has that distinction. And no single other song ever drew me in to a new band as quick as OIRAN did for Nemophila. I am forever grateful for this musical masterpiece (even though one might argue it would be not be as technically sophisticated as oher songs). But in terms of having an effect on my musical journey through my life it definetly was a masterpiece! I'm a Petalhead forever! ❤❤🗾🎶🎤🎸🥁💮❤❤😃

I was almost crying watching that such a performance Oiran on another plain, all hail the metal goddesses .What a wall of sound Tamu's Feet sprinting .Hara having the best time ever on the bass .The two guitars Hazuki and Saki out of this world and finally Mayu such power and stage presence, they have to be the best of our current time at this metal game and there only a few years in as a band
They're my favorite band anywhere for a while now! Brilliant musicianship, great songs, and an absolute avalanche of charisma and chemistry... I've seen them live (twice), and it's an "I am in the presence of greatness" moment.
The first one I heard from them years back and still my favourite NEMOPHILA song...only just, as of course they roll out the highest quality each time! .....we need that European tour ladies!💮💮💮💮💮🤘
I think she takes the inspiration from Keiko and Sun-Go from Show-Ya. They are all friends and the Show-Ya ladies have done it for years. They all just defy gravity.
@@Metallic_Gaijin_Hu I've seen people say that but I can't find any reliable reference that confirms it, so I'm a little sceptical. In interviews when SAKI talks about Sun-Go, she doesn't refer to her as her mother, just as "Sun-Go-san". It's possible but until I find an authoritative source, I'm like nope.

Actually it was the first original of theirs they recorded and even though I love most their songs this one is still my fav.
Raitai is also pretty stonking heavy too !! ..just ignore their Iron Maiden cover, the EQ into the video recording had gone very wonky...

I long ago suggested an American tour package that put at least one member of Nemophila on stage for each set of the show.
