Dude, she is more than a metal drummer. She's one of the most sought out session drummers in Tokyo. She does projects ranging from Jazz, Pop, Prog-Metal and she's classically trained on piano. On top of all that she does music for anime, video games and is also a respected drum instructor. All that and she looks 18 LOL. Any scroll through her personal channel and check out her drum cam videos. You'll see all the different styles she plays. I read that guitarist Saki (at the far end) was iffy about joining the project (it was expected to be temporary) until she was told Tamu would be drumming - and boom she was in.
@@BulletProofSoul1029 😁 TAMU walked out the front entrance +1 in NYC about 40 min before doors for a short walk. Even though she was wearing a mask & heavy jacket - I was the only one to notice her. All I could say was, Hi TAMU - and a quick wave. She waved right back - the look/smile in her eyes was priceless!! 😎🔥💪
Dear Roseville (aka FAR East Sacramento): given the capacity of the venue, you guys were great -- loud as you could be. And, to Nemophila's credit, they did not show any of that oh-it's-not-New York-or-L.A nonchalance some bands exhibit in smaller towns/cities -- they kicked butt and showed all due respect. American and European bands take note -- this is how you do it! Great job, Nemophila.
Never a dull moment with Nemophila. I know it's still early days for this band but I really hope that they get to play arenas in the near future, even if it's only at festivals. They truly are worthy of that !!!
Why would you wish to see them in an arena and at a festival, a half-mile away? Now is the time to see this band when you can have your face melted as you stand 3 feet from Hazuki or Saki.
This was there 1st US show and maybe it was just to get dialed in and used get their bodies and might used to the US. I know they're play bigger places as the go tour expands. It would be cool to see them perform in front of a festival and watch a sea of people going nuts over them cause they deserve it (imagine a festival crowd doing that little breakdown dance LOL, I think that be cool as hell). The world needs to know this band.
@@BulletProofSoul1029they did play a festival, in that same town. This was actually their 3rd US show. The first was at the Whisky, and second was at Aftershock Festival. That full set of six songs is here somewhere. That's when Mayu was like 8 months pregnant.
