- Tell your friend with a Rubicon to go worry about his cracked steering knuckle.
(And then go get a swaybar disconnect so your Mojave can flex with the big boys)
A collection of iPhone clips (mostly filmed in 4:5 for other platforms, sorry) with @bcjchoss (IG) in his tan LJ and @briandrivesslow and @wanderswild (IG) in their crazy TJ buggy from the Poison Spider Mesa trail in Moab, Utah.
The Wilder Wagon

Nice to see it wheeling tough terrain. My mojave is 3.5” game changer on 40’s with stock shocks and extensions. I also have sway bar disconnect and 5.13’s. Can’t wait to see more videos of yours!
This truck just rips right thru. Doesn't matter the letterhead, but mojaves are awesome. Gladiator, strength and honor.
I don’t want to crawl anyways I want to go fast in the desert
nice, I've got the same lift on my Mojave.. getting 5.13s installed with an arb locker up front
People buy a Mojave because they DONT want to rock crawl, maybe they want to desert run like it’s rated for. I guess a Rubicon isnt a “real Jeep” for desert running. The Mojave has a lot of things the Rubicon doesn’t have just like the Rubicon has stuff the Mojave doesn’t have for rock crawling. Try to run a Rubicon in the desert at speeds against a Mojave and you’ll get whooped bad, not to mention beat up as hell.
I have almost the same rig ( Mojave 5.13 AEV2 inch lift) but I have 37s. I am wondering, do the 39s do fine on the highway? I was thinking about upsizing to the 39's. What sway bar disconnect are you using? Damn that looks like fun!
Hey great video. What spare tire mount are you using? I’m looking for a bed mount like that, that’ll still allow me to use my tonneau cover.
Super simple - just a Pro Armor ratcheting Y strap. Attached to the factory bed hooks by the bulkhead and two bolts drilled through the floor of the bed on the tailgate side of the tire with a heavy duty D-ring bracket from home depot.
Bad ass build and footage! Can you do a cost breakdown of your build.
Thanks! Rough estimate is probably just under $10k from stock with labor - somewhere around $4k in the Methods and KO2s, $3-$4k between regear/truss/skids, $2k ish in lift. The smaller stuff has been done piece my piece in my driveway, so not really sure. Maybe $1k in misc stuff. Hope that helps.
@@TheWilderWagon how big is the lift? Waiting on a diesel rubicon gladiator myself but really makes me reconsider after watching this..but can't give up that torque.
Great looking Mojave! Will you please answer few questions?
What size tires and lift you are running? Did you keep the stock Fox shocks? And did you re-gear?
Thanks! 39x13.50R17 BFG KO2s, 2” AEV lift, 5.13 Dana Spicers
Is that the AEV spacer lift?
If folks crawl with trucks with IFS you definitely can crawl a mojave not sure why anyone would say different?
No sh1t
My Honda Accord can climb those rocks 🪨 😊
You Honda cost as much as one of those Jeeps tires ..
It sure can when you drive off a cliff!!
