  • How many of you have clients asking for cuts with angled fronts -- hair that can move back away from the face? Sam facilitates this look with a very simple technique. Instead of trying to carve out the angle in the front and the 'V' shape in the back, we will learn to cut the interior and the shape will appear!

I'm a hairstylist student and I tried this method for the first time on a real client and I was a bit nervous because I took your advice instead of my own teachers (they tend to have a different way of doing this) but since I've watched this method I found it easier to do that long layers "V"cut on my doll I was willing to try it on a real person and it came out GOOD! I was shocked and proud of myself! Thanks SAM VILLA! 😉

Sam, thank you so much. I graduated from cosmetology school six months ago, and this is the first time that a "more complex" haircut has made sense to me. I actually teared up -- I could see what you were doing and why it would get you there. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I tried this technique on a client and she LOVED it!!! The only real difference is that in the front I had to use an excisting bang to start as my guide and this client had really thick hair, so I had to take much smaller sections. Saved me a ton of time!!! Thanks Sam!!!

Thank you so so much for this tutorial. I just don't have words. I have typical indian close to waist hair and have always had some sort of layers or graduation if you will in my hair for managing volume. But then for some reason I could never get the V the way I wanted right until.. this video🥰🥰. I have customized the steps to fit me as I cut on own hair and I'm not a hairdresser so it might not even be as organized as professional one but I love every second of it and the more I do it the better it gets 🥰🥰 Thank you so much Sam you are an angel 😇 ❤
