For the battery saver. If you want to charge it to say 93% instead of 85, you can. Just create a routine in Modes & routines that say, If the battery = 93% than turn on battery saver and it stops charging!!
How do I do that?
The phone stops charging at 100% anyway, so I'm not sure why y'all think you are protecting your battery. People need to learn to understand how lithium batteries work. Lithium batteries have more battery capacity that the user cannot access to prevent battery degradation too fast. Example, the batteries have 105% charge. But the user cannot access that 5% because lithium batteries degrade faster when fully charged, so you can't access that 5%. So you all are wasting time doing that 85% crap smh. Do the research so that y'all understand the tech. I did so I did not waste my time.

@@mjjones1045 not quite so, because if it is charged 20% less than the maximum (105%), it will last longer ... the second fact is that the battery will degrade if you store it charged to 100% (you should store it charged to around 60-70%) ... it's all due to oxidation that occurs when the battery is fully charged

Your battery will degrade over time, no matter what, but the battery saving measures built into the Android settings will slow the degradation down, making your battery good for longer. It doesn't mean it won't go bad one day, it will just be later, than if you charge it to 100% each and every day, say over night.

UHD 60 FPS for video mode is much cleaner than 8k. Plus, not a lot of people will have the bandwidth to load any 8k video anyways.

Thank you for your informative vlog. But I've tried toggling on the "Keep screen on while viewing," but it's not working. Regardless of the position of my face to the front facing camera, it still times out. Can you make any suggestions? TYI Joel
Just a heads up, the 'keep screen on while viewing' option will gobble your battery up very fast because it uses the camera.

Love your video super great helpful tips. I do have an issue for you or anyone else. The volume on all my phone calls is super low. Weather I use my Bluetooth or phone with my ear or the speakerphone the volume level is all of them which is super low. How can I fix this?? I have the S24 Ultra
Can I use Quick Share to transfer web articles saved on my Home Screen? All pages that were saved using Samsung Internet failed to transfer using Smart Switch during setup!

@@Shake688 No, the phone pauses the charging as soon as it reaches 85%. Even for that matter mobile phone these days cuts off charging as soon as it reaches 100%
Actually this has been tested and they said there's no point in keeping your phone at 85% sure in 2 years you will have a 7% decrease vs 10% but you're limiting yourself right now to 15% decrease so what difference does it make.
Had my Note 9 for 5 years without any battery issues, never did 20-80 percent charging, not really sure this is anything more than a myth.

How do you change or swap out the 6 widgets at the top of your drop down menu? Mine are currently: wifi, sound, Bluetooth, auto rotate, airplane mode, and flashlight.
Open drop down, click the three dots on top right, choose Edit buttons, then slightly long press on buttons to move them wherever you want, click Done.
Please be clearer in your video titles, your phone is an s23 ultra and not a standard s23, some of the camera features don't exist in an standard. Otherwise great video, thanks for the battery tip. :)

I like dark mode but when I changed it as shown here later I tried to search something on Amazon and the search was successful however I used the microphone for the search and the words did not appear in the search bar. That was enough for me to change it back. I did not test it further as I was super busy this afternoon.
Not sure what might have happened, but it worked perfectly for me. And yes I tested the microphone operation.

My quick share doesn't show what your screen shows. My phone can't find the links that you're selecting. My drop down screen isn't the same as yours. You've done a lot more editing to your phone before you started this video so what you see on your screen isn't what others see.
I'd sure like to share my DSLR photos sent to my phone with my Samsung Tab A 7 tablet but there's no A7 seem by my phone. and no quick share option on my phone either.
I'm no techno person by any means. I've had my note 10+since December 2019. I've just traded it in for the 23 Ultra. I let out go dead on occasion and kept in on the charger all night long. And even today right now I still get 8 hours screen on time with 80% of it watching you tube videos. I'm not saying that the 15%-85% rule isn't true but I've had no problems. I'm going to swap to the 23 Ultra this weekend. Great video. ❤️👍🏻💯
Only use the high resolution options if you have a well lit area. otherwise, the photos and videos aren't going to look that good

Please, please please, help me. This phone has these annoying grey/black pop-up bubbles with useless info and they get in my way. One for instance pops-up every time I use speech services. Gives a message about converting speech to text. Another pops up when I use group texting, something about multimedia. There's others, but I don't know or care what they say. Please someone help me get rid of them in all areas of the phone. This is enough for me to want to return this phone. I just don't have that kind of patience to wait for those damn bubbles to disappear.

and secondly, that camera settings changes were just 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
No zoom option for the camera with 200MP on photo mode and the 8k video is smoothened af. There's a reason Samsung put that 4:3 option for photos and FHD 60 as the default option on the camera app. Why on earth do you think they will make one of their greatest selling points of their phones bad out of the box??
