Wow, I think this is the first on-camera prominent video I've done on this channel in nearly 4 years, so don't be surprised if the quality of the footage or camera angles aren't on par with the main game reviews on this channel. But if it means playing nearly every single one of my favourite games for a video on this channel, it was worth it, haha. Anything from my collection that stands out to you?
Colin mcrae rally 2.0 Would love you To review it slme time. And since you had that mini ps1, do syphon filter 1 someday too, loved that game back In the Day.
Definitely Breath of the Wild and The Witcher 3, they're amazing games although as you mentioned, time is valuable and they're pretty much huge time sinks.
For the n64 I think the hori mini pad is the way to go for controllers, they are a bit expensive now but they have a gamecube style analog stick which feels way better than the original n64 one.
Just the shelves of games wow your really Dedicated to your stuff
I'm sorry that due to either a lack of finances or a desire from your parents to limit your interactions with gaming for whatever reason your experiences with gaming were so stunted. Because the 90's were an AMAZING time to be a gamer kid. I wish you could have experienced more of it.
I honestly love smaller scale collections like yours than other big time collectors because yeah there might not be as many games but the games there are have supplemental value
Yeah, my number one priority when buying games is whether I'll actually play and/or make a review out of them. I obviously think about prices and try to go for the cheapest copy in the best possible condition, and I might buy it earlier than I intend to play it before the value could go up (Wii U games a perfect case in point). But at the end of the day, I always ask myself 'Will I actually play this game?'.
Sometimes less is more
Same i only collect if i really want to play them
Ahh I love this collection! Mainly because it follows a philosophy I follow with my own collection: to simply get games/consoles actually worth playing or that hold value from my childhood. It’s a slightly less expensive approach to collecting but I think it’s also a lot more personable. So many of the games you have mean something to you and I think that’s great. Not a lot of random ass games in your collection solely because of $$$ or how rare it is. It even says a lot about you as a reviewer and how much you love the things you talk about.
Been watching your reviews on older racing games and I consider you to be the best by quite some margin.
I’m glad you started making videos man 🤙🏻 love your reviews.
Love the collection mate, some nostalgia to be had there!
I love the videos man, keep it up! I’d personally love more videos like this.
Cool video mate! nice to see you all of this and here a bit of your gaming history.
This was a really great video colourshed, not only did I get to view your collection, but also an insight into the motivation and history of your channel; as well as your opinions on industry trends. I hope I see more videos like this in the future.
dude I loved this video and generally love seeing peoples collections
That's a sick collection ya got there. My favorite console to collect for is the 360, love so many that are on it. I have around 180 games on it and every single one is a game I would play. I've passed most of them but have a lot that I'm yet to play. 2nd most games I have are for the Xbox One/Series X. 3rd is for the ps2, love the library on it and I have some pretty rare games for it (dbz budokai tenkaichi 1,2, and 3 and Def Jam fight for NY). I also like to collect limited edition consoles too, most recent one is the Halo Infinite Series X I was lucky to get, I usually get the limited edition xbox consoles (gow 3 360, gow 4 xbox one s, Gears 5 one x for example) I'm more team xbox but I have always loved PlayStation for their exclusives. I just love gaming lol
Love ur channel bro sending love from Venezuela!!!
A very underrated channel this one. I'm happy to have been a part of it for years!
Great video lad keep up with the good work
Awesome collection, I really enjoyed your reviews of PGR and Forza
Thanks for sharing!
only just found this channel. Love it
Oh perfect upload time, thank you very much!
LOVED this video, so glad you still have the appetite for reviews!
Great Video - My Xbox 360 and PS3 Collection Is Out Of Control - But I Have Always Loved Video Games Since I Was 7 Years Old And 22 Years Later I Still Enjoy Them
Great video man
Nice collection! Just before the pandemic I got into collecting some of the PS1 and PS2 games I had always wanted as a kid...just in time to be able to sit at home and play them!
Also rebought a few favorite N64 games and a Game Cube just so I could play that version of Ocarina of Time. Never owned a game cube prior, Ocarina is the only game I have for it 😄
I've been collecting pse games since the pandemic began. Have gone from 10ish games to over 50 now. Havent played probably even half of then yet but just happy to finally have these games I always wanted as a kid in my collection.
Congrats on the land!
My favourite for collecting is the PS3. So cheap and so many great exclusives! Fantastic video, and love the channel :)
I have never clicked on a video so fast this has me excited
I'll never forget playing Rebel Assault 2......flying the Falcon, and the failure cutscene ? Seeing it destroyed took a while to get used to....
this is amazing. I'm also trying to collect games one at a time.
15:45 wow i never saw this NFS Hot Pursuit II cover! I only remember the ones with the yellow Lamborghini and the red Ferrari.
Great collection I must say
You also need Splinter Cell Double Agent for the original XBOX or PS2, it's a vastly different game to the 360/PS3 version.
Edit: the Wii version of Double Agent is also the same game as the XBOX/PS2 version.
Nice collection, as I got another game for your collection that is you should play the sly cooper trilogy on the ps2 I think those games are fun and underrated and I will love to see a review on those games on your channel. But anyway nice collection and great video👍
Neat collection !
Wait. He exists ?!?
🤔 thought it was just a really insightful A.I. 😬
Nice to have that personal touch, see what games mean the most to you - you can learn a lot from which games a person praises.
Many thanks man 👍🍻
I follow a pretty similar philosophy to buying games. I started to seriously seek out and buy up all the PS3 games I could have wanted to play during the middle of PS4's height, and saved a lot of money that way. Although I regret not getting a copy of Afrika before that started going for insane amounts.
Nice collection 👌 👍
My Nostalgia fix once again.
thats a different video, i liked
Happy to see sunset overdrive, I really enjoyed playing the PC port
I actually have metroid prime 1 and 2 I actually got those games for like $20 back in the early 2010s Now those games have skyrocketed Now those games go off for 60 or $70
I grew up with everyone owning a Nintendo, and we had the Sega's and PlayStation. I loved it
Such a cool collection!! I just got back into collecting games and purchased a 360 slim to play older games that didn't make the list for backwards compatibility on the Series X. However thanks to the X I got back into collecting and I couldn't be more glad I did. The biggest downfall is not having enough time to play all these games
I share your sentiment concerning the size of your personal collection. I'm the same way. I have a hard and fast rule against owning unnecessary multiples of games except in VERY rare circumstances and my collection (assuming anyone cared enough for me to showcase it) would be considered very modest compared to some UA-cam personalities such as Metal Jesus and his crew or the Media Glitch crew. Many of them seem only to collect for the sake of having a bunch of games or getting "complete sets" seemingly just because. Even when they claim that's not the case such as with Radical Reggie who seems to be a member of both groups and buys most games IN MULTIPLE if they're cross platform for up to three systems at a time. Every game I own is either special to me or it's one that I consistently play, enjoy or think is unique or interesting enough to retain. However, I'm not a big supporter of digital purchasing. It's a great tool for those on a budget or those who want to play older games who don't own older consoles. But you never truly OWN them and if they disappear, they're gone. I personally am an avid believer in the preservation of physical media and I exclusively buy games in physical formats whenever possible.
I've never understood the "gotta' catch em' all" mentality of extreme collecting (nor do I understand where those types of collectors get the revenue to support the habit).
Mate I done exactly the same with with the cables when I bought my PS3. What's worse though is I bought a HDTV with the console but didn't know there was a new type of cable for at least a month or so.
I solved the older PC games' non compatibility program by building a dedicated Windows XP machine. I have a 3rd gen i7 and GTX 960 in it and XP games run so buttery smooth, even with mods
Thats quite the collection! We had a very similar path in terms of consoles, other than me being more Xbox and you more PlayStation I too didnt really experience the Nintendo side of things except through family. later on my grandparents got a nintendo with like 30 games, so i did a bit of catching up everytime i visited. golden eye was so good. its a shame the remake didnt really capture what made it so good on the n64 though.
Thanks Ricky, hopefully, a remaster of the original comes to the Xbox One/Series X, as initially rumoured back in March of this year.
your consoles are clean do you wipe it with shoe shine? I used to do that and it would look brand new
Very cool collection I also like how you don't waste money on games you won't play
One of my dream purchases :
Maniac Mansion PC (CIB) 🤤
Are you planning on reviewing the Colin McRae Rally games by any chance?
Fair collection. No Forza Motorsport 6&7? Sega GT20002, Apex/Racing Evoluzione. Or other niche racers of interest? Back compat helps a lot. I find the niche titles more exciting on some consoles while others major titles. Mostly platformers and racing or shooters mechanics.
T.h.u.g.2 hell yeah... Love your content.💖
Wii is not just composite, it also outputs RGB, S-video and component.
I know, but if I already have a a Wii U, HDMI is much easier to capture footage for even if it's just upscaled. Though, one day I might test the other outputs for the Wii console since it's backwards compatible with GameCube games, and component cables for that system are bonkers expensive.
For some reason i miss this video. You have a great collection of console and games. For some reason i miss this video. You have a great collection of console and games. The reason why i have seen this video
it because you had burnout paradise uploaded yesterday
I was exactly the same with having parents that would only allow me to have one console. If I wanted say, the PS1 but had a Mega Drive or SNES then I would have to sell said console to get the one I wanted.
I got the PS1 at launch or not long after and when the N64 released I wanted it. So I had to sell my PS1, which was mod chipped and I got the N64 for Christmas that year. I played and finished Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye. After that I lost all interest in the N64 so I went and straight swapped it at a store for the PS1 again and instantly went and got it modchipped and never looked back. Because of this I never got to play games like Banjo Kazooie, Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Conkers Bad Fur Day.
I actually have a whole bunch of PC games Ender Box And it's really hard to collect for PC especially the big Box versions
You are going to love the Xbox versions of the splinter cell games
Have you got Batman Arkham City Armored Edition for the Wii U? It takes advantage of the Wii U gamepad.
Glad to see you are focusing on quality over quantity. You could review shitty games you can get for $0.20 just to fill out your video load, but instead you take into consideration the two main factors. Would you like to play it and is it worth a review!
Been watching since like 30k and seeing a new video pop up every month, fills me with excitement!
As for WiiU games you may be missing, Bayonetta 2 is reeeeeally good (though you can and probably should get it on Switch)
The Xbox One only has 4 exclusives: Halo 5, Forza 5, 6, Horizon 2 so you didn't miss much, everything else is on PC. The only one I really want to play is Horizon 2, there's a gimped version of it on Xbox360 but I'd rather play the more complete game.
You should do the remake of Vice city in the other games
Please make a review of Flatout Ultimate Carnage - great arcade game, Thanks
My Ps3 was gen 1 I took it apart and reapplied thermal paste, run's like a dream for a ps3 fat and it's quiet. My 360's tho........ 3 replacements counsels, 4 games were cracked in the center and left unplayable.
You gotta do a crackdown review 🤙
project gotham racing and forza motorsport for xbox work on 360 without any problem?
I have a SNES and you have more games for it than me. Basically I also have Mario All Stars.
mate you've got to get the Forza games from the Xbox one generation and review them, considering they're all backwards compatible with the series x. They'll play better and it'll make great content.
19:24, I will in the future...
@@ColourShedProductions Ayyy thanks from Australia
Nice collection! It's still a decent amount, it just feels like an honest collection, if that makes sense. Like a down to earth one that feels like it reflects towards the average gamers fans like us, rather than something over-extravagant.
Underrated comment
I mostly grew up with PlayStation consoles, then I did with Nintendo. So I also don't have that many fond memories to Nintendo games, unlike 90% of UA-cam content creators. Even though Sega Genesis is what awakened my love for video games, that console was owned by an old friend of mine, so I didn't own the system personally, along with PS1 which was another console my other friend owned. But because of PS1, I wanted my own game console so during one year of Christmas I got my very first gaming console which was the PS2 along with games such as GTA San Andreas & NFS Underground 2. My parents for some reason didn't care or were just ignorant about the fact that GTA was a 18+ or M rated game, because they view video games as nothing but childish nonsense.
But still, I still love the system & try to buy & own as many physical copies as I can. Weather it be video games or animated TV shows/movies. The consoles I currently own are PS2, PS3 & Nintendo Switch. My gaming collection may not be as huge compared to other people, but I'm still happy & having fun with those systems. I play more on PS2 & PS3 since those consoles have huge library of games & the games on those systems are a lot more fun, then compared to a lot of current gen hardware.
A few years ago during middle school I wanted an XBOX 360 due to Halo 3 being popular at the time & because I watched a lot of Arby n The Chief episodes, I wanted to own that console, but because the console didn't have free online play & you had to buy batteries for the controller, I was turned off from owning the system. Same thing vent for PSP, but I sadlly didn't get it even though that hand held console looked promising for it's time.
So if you are worried about your gaming collection being small, don't worry. I don't have a huge library either. Most of my PC games are digital & I have more PS3 games, then PS2 ones, but that is due to limited space in my room.
I've never been this early
That PS1 box is worth more than the console. It’s mint.
awesome video as always. you're preaching about how overpriced some games are. really sucks I wanna relive some of my childhood without breaking the bank haha
I just got AvP extinction...it's even better than I remember, and looks great on a big 4k tv.
But I still want to get an Atari Jaguar w/AvP and the mech game. Amd the Virtual boy with boxing/space game.....
‘Looks great on a big 4k tv’ no, it doesn’t. Nothing does. TVs are bad, they have low PPI.
If you dint know there's a game called road trip adventure aka the best racing game of all time
Aussie Aussie Aussie.
Ok, one question I have after seeing all of this. How do you find and buy stuff for the XBox360/PS3 and older? I've seen Gran Turismo 6 on amazon and ebay for 120€, 60€, and even 10€. What the hell bro
In the late 2010s, ebGames in Australia, they had sales where PS3 & X360 games, '4 for $20', I probably got half these games for the PS3 & X360 this way. I assume it was a period when interest for those consoles were at their lowest. I got Gran Turismo 6 back in 2016, and I doubt it would've been worth the prices you just mentioned back then, haha
@@ColourShedProductions Man I wish I had those stores around here
You should really look into flash carts and a scaler for the older consoles instead of hdmi mods. Also modding a ps2, Xbox, ps3 and 360 for loading games off HDD is really not that hard, and completely mitigates the collecting prices stopping you from reviewing games.
Aw now the illusion of broken, I was sure you were the only reviewer that used unofficial copies of the games.
Racing game at 17:59?
@ColourShedProductions
BOT ALERT!
TDU2?
Best game is GTA San Andreas and Mafia ii and need for speed underground 2 and 50 cent bulletproof and GTA vice city and Yakuza and watch dogs 2 and Saints row 1 and 2 and super Mario Bros 3 and sleeping dogs and call of duty black ops 4
It's interesting to hear that RDR2 is one of your favs but haven't found time to play Breath of the Wild. Both are way too long and tedious for me.
You and me buy consoles and games the same way for the same reasons lol.....same as collecting i just buy what i ike no need for anything else
playstation rules the eu, no wonder you didn't play the 360 or OG xbox that much, it's the same for me, played them via friends
👍😎🤙
I love the Max Payne 3
comic book style
thing
Collecting games that you want to play. This is the way :)
If you do not capture video for the older consoles, just buy a good CRT and connect them via SCART, it's the best way to experience them. You can buy really good Sony Trinitron TVs with two or three SCART inputs at good prices now
i only like ps3 my other console i just play only once
Are you Australian? 🙂
Why dint you review the last of us part 2 i thought you liked 1 but I guess your more into repetitive racing games
Lol so unnecessarily passive aggressive

You are a sinner and you need Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". Hebrews 9:22 "and without shedding of blood is no remission". Ephisians 1:7 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgivness of sins, according to the riches of his grace". Romans 3:25 "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (substitute) through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forebearance of God". Acts 16:30-31 "And brought them out, and said, sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house". Ephesians 2:8-9 " For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast". Before I got saved, I realised I was a sinner on my way to hell, but thanks to Jesus Christ dying on the cross for my sins, I decided to put my faith in him and trust in the work that he did, then I was sure I was saved, on my way to heaven. You can have assurance of your salvation right now if you put your faith in what Jesus did for you, a sinner. It's your choice in the end, but I care for you enough to tell you the truth. Please don't make the wrong decision, but come to the conclusion that you are a sinner in need of a savior.
Since you live in Eurozone, i can clearly say 90% of your PS2 collection is garbage in terms of quality.
