Tarnak Farm incident is the friendly fire incident he talks about. And the 2 US Air officers got a slap on the wrist.
Bossman ceasefire, friendlies, Kandahar.
Major respect for the discussion @ 58:00 min. With "those rates" at an all-time high, there needs to be more maturity about going into "dark places". There's not enough support for that, even censorship of hard discussions. I've been working on setting up a platform specifically for those "tough discussions" from my own experiences, to encourage guys looking into the abyss, and offering tools to get back from there. Awesome job Andy for bringing it up, and awesome authenticity/balls for answering the question, Glenn. Rock on, guys.
Great episode Andy! More Canadians please!
That fratricide incident is brutal and I feel the strong pull to watch hockey and drink maple syrup right now. 😂. Great convo you guys, thanks. Surreal background!
Of all the miraculous shit dude was talking about, hearing his family started Double Bubble made me double take 🤣
Haha same here. I was like “pardon me???”
Everything Glenn said about cold is spot-on. I start complaining at -15*C, which is about when it starts to get dangerous. Dry cold is easier than wet cold. And if it's cold enough to plug in your vehicle, life SUCKS. So much more effort to anything, including walking to the truck.
My gauge is when you walk outside & moisture in your nose flash freezes instantly. That’s too damn cold to enjoy.
@@bodidley5015 YES. If you flare your nostrils and feel it crack, that's it. Also, if you have a standard, I found you could feel it in the clutch. If my old F150's clutch was hard to depress, then go ahead and start planning for legit cold weather procedures.
@@bodidley5015 Or when it's so cold that your eyelashes are actually sticking together.
I couldn't agree with him more and I'm originally from Canada, too, so of the cold, I would say what Tom Hardy's Bane from The Dark Knight Rises dramatically said in that infamous voice of his about the darkness: ''I was born in it, molded by it''.
So for me, wearing layers of clothing, three pairs of wool socks, two or three sweaters under a winter jacket, two or three pairs of pants, a ski mask underneath a winter hat with a scarf wrapped around it, extra gloves and so on, it was all just normal. But when you grow up in it, you just adapt to it(most of the time).
Great interview
Thank you.
Right there with you guys. Just about to develop my own plunge hole. I don’t like the cold water but something is calling me to it.
More Jtf2 guests please
Great interview. Stumpf is developing Rogan skills.
wish this was longer!
Awesome podcast
That green screen background is flawless 🤣😂
Its real.
@@tacticooldude7509you don't say
Just shaking my head. Two guys sitting in Antarctica talking about cold plunges.
JTF2/CSOR let’s goooo! 🔥
Proud of our jtf2 guys
Agreed! They do the country proud and I'm really proud of them, too!
Great podcast Andy! What kind of camera are you using for this video?
Reminds me of Alaska seeing that background.
That backdrop is beautiful. Can ya'll move the chairs out of the way so I can screen shot this and save it as my background? Thanks.
Fucking AWESOME, green screen! Way to wear the wardrobe for the duration while in the studio! Almost like you were really there!
Who else at 20:05 when he said "you could have had a DJ playing...." visualized a couple of bucks standing on their hind legs and bobbing their heads to the beat?
The grandson of the Dubble Bubble empire?
So you’re the guy to complain to about the flavor not lasting!
Negative 40 is the crossover point
Jariko probably didn’t tell you that when he was at the point with 2nd Batt he was chosen to lay the wreath at the cemetery. Ask him and he will tell you “why” he thought he was chosen.
Got to get Devon Larratt on.
Could you imagine the hijinks if he would have been on this adventure!!! 💪
I have literally emailed Andy before to tell him to have Devon on! Please read this Andy!!
@@shootlikeagirlpodcast I've put it in the comments a few times
Fair chase hunting ,is a awesome sport , because you will just not be able to spot and stalk all the time. All the conditions have to be right and the animal still has the advantage. I want people to just say my name without cringing. But know I helped both my relatives and people I didn't know.
In new Zealand we use spotlights at night to spot deer most of the time we can shoot from the truck I don't know if they do that in other countries it's a very fun way of hunting
Nightstand
For the record-40 is the same
As soon as he said "....There were some reserve soldiers there", I could see the whole fucking event unfolding. Reservists are heinous.
-40c = -40 F 😎
Just started this & I'm already upset. ... *WHY IN THE BLUED HECKITY HECK* does Glenn have clothes on in the Artic? 😤😤
As a Canadian I find it umm interesting ,that jtr2 was stood up to deal with we’ll Canadians . It’s all very Canadian we are not big fans of rights or freedoms..
JTF2 has global and domestic Mandates. The SAS also has same arrangement in the UK.
Jtf2 was stood up after the Mohawk blockade, I believe ( domestic terrorists )
Fast forward to - in Canada the government pays terrorist approximately 10 million for civil right violations after said terrorist killed a u.s. soldier.
Fast forward again. Canadian government declared emergency act . Do to a truckers protest..
I was making a point about the government not about the unit …
I feel bad for you guys up there. Canada went from place I felt like was better than the US growing up to never wanting to live there all in about two decades.
JTF2 was stood up to deal with terrorism as a counter terrorism force. Whether those terrorists happen to be foreign or Canadian.
I’m not disagreeing with you.
But I do remember some thing about some of the indigenous folks Mohawks, maybe being unhappy campers . There was a few shots fired i think was reported etc etc.. and during or shortly afterwards jtf happened . It’s been a minute and i could be completely wrong!
Canadian football came first.

Nice backdrop. I’m gonna unleash my inner jealous prick and say “IT MUST BE NICE” 😉.
☝️🇺🇸
Going to have to do this in 10 minute increments, that's about as long as stretch I can can listen to that accent and this guy might turn out to be one of the coolest dudes out there, cant do it.I have no problem admitting how petty this is but we all have pet peaves and the inability to listen to a Canadian accent for long strechs( and usually they're just too nice) or the New York accent ( usually too much of a douchebag) are some of them.
Anyways Cleared Hot and FAF 1#1🇺🇸☝️🇺🇸🤘🇺🇸
No one cares.
