A superb buy. I have this watch, but 3 years old now, and slightly different. To be totally honest, its been the most reliable, tough, and comfortable watch to wear, and I really recommend it especially to any one doing sports, out door activities, or similar. I do find Casio watches, especially the G shock ones apart from being dressed up, to be the perfect watch without breaking the bank.

This is the best negative display gshock I’ve had. My first one I had to mod to regular display. Could not read unless I held it up to my nose. This one gd350 I can read while in dim light with no problem. Thought I’d never buy another negative display but I was impressed with this one. 👍

hey, thats a very nice review video... It's my one and only watch that I've been using for last 7 years. Today I changed the battery for the first time. It's just very durable , and still in a very good condition. I've been using it almost every day and probably I'm going to keep using it for long long time. Actually I was just looking for a video how to change the battery , but saw this very useful review and kept wathcing it :) thanks and have great day

As you stated in the review, the GD-350 enjoys the reputation as the most legible of all the negative LCDs displays that Casio makes. Typically, the gray numbers on a black background are very difficult to see, particularly in low light conditions. Combined with larger digits than most G-Shocks (the Pro-Treks have the biggest) and the usual G-Shock features (alarms, timers, world time), the GD-350 series is a very strong recommendation to anyone considering entering the world of Gs. But be warned, they can be addictive. Ask me how I know...

Nice vid ! I appreciate the auto lights a bit more with the solar models, cause it recognizes it’s light and won’t auto light during the day, which drains non solar models faster.

No one in any reviews with the gd350 seem to ever mention the 1000 hour stopwatch feature that it has. This was my first gshock and that feature the 1000 hour stopwatch is what made me buy it.

You and I are just late to the dance, bought myself a GWM 5610 this week, too old for negative display. Nice video Scott. Ordered Bull bars from Jayandkays to protect the face and adapters to install a NATO strap.👍
It's funny. Always wanted one now I dint think I'll go with out. I really do like all the feature and ruggedness these watches offer. I also was thinking of bull bars. Having. NATO on this guys would be so cool!!👍👍

No Problem
This is a great watch. The only problem I had with mine was the light button would not work that well. I loved the size of the display it was easy to see. I ended up getting a GG-1000 and putting a black band on it. I have worn G Shocks for the last 20 years. I pretty much wear my GG-1000 or King G on a daily basis. You mentioned shooting. I have shot numerous rifles and pistols and no issues. You should check out the king g or the GG-1000. You will not be disappointed.

It's an awesome watch , I use mine for work where I constantly have to keep track of multiple elapsed times so I find the vibe alarm absolutely invaluable. Added to that it's so rugged that if a bomb dropped only these and cockroaches would be left standing 😂

Does the vibration work with the chronometer? It is useful for diving, for example if it vibes every 30 sec.

Just picked up a similar model (the one with the normal black LCD on gray background) yesterday. Been wanting to get a digital G-Shock for a long time. Amusingly, in the owner's manual, Casio recommends that you put it in the sun for charging. I'm not sure if that's for this particular model (the manual seems to cover a wide range of models) but it's pretty rare that any electronic thing can be left to bake in the sun, let alone as a recommended method of charging! There's even a warning - likely put in at the advice of Casio's lawyers - that you should be careful not to burn yourself when touching the watch after it's been out in the sun, cooking. Ha!
Hello Trevor. That is humorous. My model is not solar, but if you have the solar model I wouldn't leave it in the sun long it does just as well under a lamp. 😏👍🏻👊🏻⌚

Good question. The issue would be more in a low light situation. That's where the built in light comes in handy. Other than that the negative display is awesome and for me this Gshock is a winner. Hope that helps and Thank you for the support!!👍🏻👊🏻
This was my first g shock the light button broke first time out so I went back to my SKX, that was a couple of years ago but I'm considering buying another because the Casio looks really cool.
Hello SRJ. I really do like mine. I havent heard that before with the light so hopefully that is just a fluke. I'm looking at the GM-m5610 with bluetooth. Crazy cool also. G-shock is hard to beat, but so is the skx. Both are great watches. I also was thinking of picking up another skx since they discontinued them. I wouldn't hesitate to get another G-shock. @@stauffer65 The negative display is best compared to other casios. The 3 plastic buttons do get spongy after awhile, the timer button is great. Vibrate is useful and the backlight is good.
When you can’t decide between a Casioak & a DW5600, this is their baby.

I can believe that if you are a solid sleeper. Excellent for notifying you quietly of a certain time or appointment. Bummer if you wanted it for a wake up alarm. Check out a wrist alarm watch. I have bin wanting one for a along time just haven't made the plunge, but maybe not your style.👍🏻👍🏻

Very good question brother. This is my first G-shock. I Really like this one alot! The next on on my list is the 5610bc-1JF all blacked out metal bracelet automatic time adjustment. The only draw back is a blacked out dial sometimes hard to read, but it has a light. That's my next one. Good luck on your search. Let me know what you decide on. @@stauffer65 probably will get the first one that's on sale. I love the gd350, it has some real military vibes, a stealthy look and the battery lasts 5 years. But the ga100 is cool too. An all black watch with speed indicator and I love how the hands rotate flawlessly. It's either the vibration alarm or the speed indicator with digi-analog display

It’s the second one I bought. But this one has the negative display.
The watch came today. Looks so much better with the negative display! Going to change the buckle to a black one to give it a better stealth look. It’s great on my 7-1/2 wrist.

Yes, after 6 hours. It happens to save the battery life bcz it isn’t tough solar.
How does the screen look in direct sunlight, is it readable?
Great question. It is some what hard to read in dark lighting because of the negative display. But the light button fixes that problem. With out turning on the light it is hard to read depending on the surrounding lighting.👍🏻👊🏻⌚
Get the grey one. Solves that problem and you still get the same, great watch.

@@stauffer65 Yes, what you have is a very nice watch anyway. It's only as I have a non g shock Casio 3416 that vibrates. So can't justify buying your one. I also have the GW7900B which is so simular to yours with multiband and solar... but no vibrating feature!!! I'm sure Casio do it purposely.

One second on light display actually means 1.5. You change the tilt by holding down the light button for five seconds.

I don't understand 2 main things about this specific g shock. First why they're are so many American cities listed with the exact same time in the world time mode???. I mean for example there's are 10 American cities with the exact same time zone so what's the use of that if there is same time in all those cities. Just a waste of space. They should have added other world cities other then mentioning the same time zone cities. It's like roaming the same country with the same time in every city but each and every city is listed separately why??????
Second i believe there is no use of screen flashing at hourly time signal. You can't even see screen flashing on hourly chime because it's in a fraction of a second. Waste of battery i think. So these are my concerns. What you people think about that???

How to turn off tmr indicator??
Hello Vivek. If u understand correctly, you need to press the mode button and go to the timer. Once there you can stop by pressing the metal button. When in timer mode you can stop and reset there. Hope that helps. 👍🏻👍🏻
Gshocks are fun bc theyre usually under $100 so us average people can collect them. I also have an omega seamaster and it’s probably the only mechanical watch ill ever own. $4 grand yikes
