Sorry to hear this... must be a nightmare. I only work 2.5hrs a day, some days I can do it fine, even with rest during those 2.5hrs, but other times even 10min into work, im shattered but have to carry on. My sleep is crap, I have daily headaches and quite often migraines, but I never know what to say to the GP cos with the other issues I have, I feel they may say 'hypochondriac' cos I have no diagnosis for anything. I'm on tramadol for bilateral knee pain but my GP wants to take it away... I may not survive if gone but thankfully I'm not addicted to the stuff.

Richard, I AM an addict. I have been on Tramadol for about 13 years. I am in pain 24/7, varying levels.
Without my Tramadol I would not be here typing to you.
GP's are instructed to try and get people off the strong pain meds due to an error many years ago where they did not understand the impact of these drugs. And I support that......but NOT when someone is chronically ill and is in pain 24/7.
Also, for people with the attitude that we do NOT want to have to take pain meds but out conditions mean we need them.
If your quality of life is poor when you do not have the pain meds = TAKE THEM. If you are feeling a bit better, do not take as many.
I am going to do a vlog about this as I think it is so important.
I hope this helps......again.....work with your Specialist and NOT the GP on pain meds.
      Hopefully speak soon :)
