That complete box of WWF No Mercy almost stopped my heart. That's my favorite video game of all time. I played it for about one year straight when it came out and then go back to it every year since. Such a crazy find!
omg seeing that 007 Goldeneye in box and Perfect Dark in box...I used to play 007 for hours on split screen with my friends when I was a teen. Oh to go back lol man I miss those days. Awesome, awesome score!
Your videos make Mondays so much better. Look forward to them every week. Great pick up of games. I’m very jealous. Keep up the awesome retroness nostalgia
My favorite thing has to be the N64 boxes. I don’t see very many out in the wild. I’m happy for you that you were able to make the deal for the storage unit. That has to be the ultimate treasure hunt looking through all of the items you guys bought!
An EPIC haul indeed. I'm not really fussed about the sports related games but everything else is pretty dope. Not gonna lie, I especially love the Sega and N64 stuff you guys dug up. Those N64 boxes alone are worth their weight in gold. To find something like that intact this far removed from the original N64 launches is nothing less than a miracle. I'm so happy and relieved media like that is still being discovered by gaming hunters.
Hey Rick, I love your channel. The time and care you put into your videos is awesome. The love and reverence you have for things from the 80s and 90s is awesome. Keep on trucking
Rick, N64 is my favorite system! This haul is awesome. I’d be most excited for that part of the find. The rest is awesome too. Love seeing the boxes for the games. Can’t wait for more.
Man thought maybe i was a loner in reading my game guides when not playing the games. Used to bring them to school or wherever to read because i loved /love gaming so much. Would often read them and my game informers and nintendo power etc over and over haha. Cheers
Great video retro Rick. A lot of 🔥🔥🔥. That’s amazing that the cardboard boxes are still intact. Great to see. I’m looking forward to the next video and see what amazing things you find. I appreciate you sharing the video with us. A lot of gold.
Man I loved my strategy guides when I was a kid. I used to actually buy ones that just looked awesome so I could just read them. Great video. My favorite was the Battle for Olympus, or Zelda link to the past. Have a blessed one brother
I collect guides so seeing this many would be so awesome to go thru. Tip for selling them try to pair it w the game and it will be a nice selling point.
I had the Pokémon Red/Blue version strategy guide in 6th grade and I would read through it in my free time in school a lot, so I definitely relate to you there.
I'm a bit older, so my bible was the NES Game Atlas, it had button press secrets, warp levels, entire maps for entire games, tons of Super Mario Bros. 3 secrets, it was amazing.
Oddly my favourite thing so far is the gaming strategy guides- kids today honestly have no idea of the struggles we had back then if you got stuck on a game 🤣
I still have my OOT and Mario 64 strategy guides, among others, but there are so torn up we used them so much lol Love those things, so many great memories with my sister and my dad :')
my roomate and i got stuck on a part in castlevania, symphony of the night. i had to order a stratagy guide from walden books, and then wait for 2 weeks before it got shipped to the store. pre internet good ole days.
Very nice video and stream for a rough Monday. Thank you guys for having me there.👍And favorite strategy guide would have to be Pokemon Red and Blue and Gold and Silver. Have the better of the Gold and Silver at home but always on the look out for a Red and Blue at the right price.
The finds are great and I love the way that you presented everything here but dude...that NES music in the background is wonderful! I recognized DuckTales 2, Little Nemo, TMNT3, and then I heard that Rollergames ending theme. Yeah...I KNOW what that theme was! Ha, ha. Can't wait for Part 4 man. Please give us updates on if you locate those super rare games that you found boxes/manuals for too.
I remember unfolding and keeping the boxes for N64 games flat with the manuals, but after I left home I think my other siblings traded them in with the games for Wii games or something.
What awesome couple of last videos Rick. Love that huge haul that you purchased. Simply amazing. Toxic crusaders is game that was created for independent film company Troma Entertainment spin off of film that came out Toxic Avenger. A great independent film company
My top 3 guide books were Star Wars Episode 1: Racer, Jurassic Park Trespasser, and Tomb Raider Chronicles. Those books got me through those games without a doubt. I loved them.
I know this is an older video, I just wanted to mention that my dad bought me the guide for Zelda- Ocarina of Time & Golden Eye. He also bought Body Harvest for N64, and the original Grand Theft Auto on PS1 and finished both. One day I was sick at home from school and found out my father played the games all day when he wasn't working. The last game I remembered him playing before that was Top Gun for NES, he always landed on the aircraft carrier for me. RIP dad (2011), a true closet gamer. - he played games while I was in school if he had the day off.
Awesome games pickup. First strategy guide I got was for Mario 64. I remember the Bubsy game. I think in the beginning into scene he says something like "is that Elvis over there?". Really fun game. Watching your channel is definitely a walk down nostalgia Lane for me. I mostly just got the Nintendo console s, one exception was the Playstation 1. Ratchet and Clank games were great.
Yo Rick! Been watching you for a good while now, so glad to see you thriving in the retro game. FYI you GOTTA check that Spider-man 2 on PS1. It may end up being from the first run of the game that had the twin towers. The game was released in late august 2001. A few weeks later, 9/11 happened and they pulled the games and sent out a version w/o the towers. If it does have the towers its worth much more. I'm still on the hunt for one myself!
Never upgrade rick!! Dont they understand your collection is a link to your childhood.Thats what make your channel one of the best it has us all remembering our childhood. So never upgrade!!! I am too old to have had strat guides but the magazines i used to get c64 format zapp64 and games master had afew guides and tips if i was lucky.
So Happy for You Brother. That's some awesome boxes. Love the art on them. Brings back some great memories. Thanks for sharing 😀 👍 ♥️ 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 🎉 🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉💯💯💯💯💯
Mine is not really a guidebook, I got it from a game magazine, it's for metal gear solid for the ps1 on how to kill all the bosses, I was 7 years old and I was struggling on how to beat Revolver Ocelot, lol. Man it was great watching your videos, gives me nostalgia. The internet back then was running on kbps it was so unreliable.
love this channel recently been watching your videos. and by chance u found a game i have been looking for the name of and it was Omega Boost. I was looking for the intro for this game. it is and always will be the best intro for any game.once i saw it in ur collection. My memory's of the 90s came back to me of that game and the 90s. keep it going
nice stuff man...I did not know PGA European Tour was worth anything lol....i gota box for it with manual i found in a hoarder house i went through thats been sitting in my living room for months
@RetroRick I am close to finishing a complete set of loose N64 games, I only have a few CIB N64 games ... What I would give to have half of what's on that table!
This haul has been absolutely insane! Stoked to see more of it!!
Favorite n64 game
And another legend is in the house!
@@gregorybrashear1520 ok
@@Ikertheweeb Legend of Zelda OOT Might be my favorite but Super Mario 64 is right up there! Also love the banjo games!
@@gregorybrashear1520 ha what’s good!
That complete box of WWF No Mercy almost stopped my heart. That's my favorite video game of all time. I played it for about one year straight when it came out and then go back to it every year since. Such a crazy find!
It just keeps getting better and better. Unreal.
omg seeing that 007 Goldeneye in box and Perfect Dark in box...I used to play 007 for hours on split screen with my friends when I was a teen. Oh to go back lol man I miss those days. Awesome, awesome score!
Goldeneye Multiplayer was the best game. We used to use proximity mines and put them at all the spawn points so when you died it was like 6x in a row.
Only one of those strategy guides I ever bought was the one for final fantasy 7, kinda wanna try to find a mint condition one now just for nostalgia
Wow wow wow!! So many boxes. Love all that Genesis stuff!!
I'm Jealous haha congrats on the great find! Yoshi sounds every 10 seconds 😂
Right? Yoshi sounds for days! 😂
That complete in box cool spot just took me back to my childhood hard.
Nice to see F-Zero X getting so much attention. I love that game too.
Its super smooth and fast. Still holds up great by today!
Your videos make Mondays so much better. Look forward to them every week. Great pick up of games. I’m very jealous. Keep up the awesome retroness nostalgia

Be sure to say hi!

Excited to see you at Retropalooza this weekend! I got you a little retro gift from one of your fave movies
Favorite guy to watch for sure thanks for the great content.

Oh man, I'd love a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 guide! One of my favourite games of all time 😩
Rick, N64 is my favorite system! This haul is awesome. I’d be most excited for that part of the find. The rest is awesome too. Love seeing the boxes for the games. Can’t wait for more.
Cool, Small Soldiers. Loved that movie when I was a kid.

This is wild!
No more words to say… congrats to this exceptional find!
Cheers, Tobi
Thanks!
Favourite guidebooks were definitely halo reach and skyrim. Never had any decent Internet when I was younger but guide books got me loving them games.
Your channel was just recommended to me. Love finding awesome channels like this! You got my sub, dude. May the Force be with you.
Man I loved my strategy guides when I was a kid. I used to actually buy ones that just looked awesome so I could just read them. Great video. My favorite was the Battle for Olympus, or Zelda link to the past. Have a blessed one brother
Digimon World 3!!! It took forever to do anything. The level grinding would literally take days but the digivolutions were so worth it.
Even if this isn't the $10 Game Collection, I feel like it has expanded big time!
I can’t even imagine what it must be like digging through all those games. Cray cray.
Can’t wait to meet Rick at Retropalooza!! He has help me build up my own collection.
I collect guides so seeing this many would be so awesome to go thru. Tip for selling them try to pair it w the game and it will be a nice selling point.

Aswome finds at the place dude so jealous of the N64 collection still cool too see
My weekend was very boring, but today was a lot better because of Retro Rick!
Final Fantasy 7 guide book was my favorite,it showed me how to get the gold chocobo and the knights of rounds summon materia very helpful
I’m not a N64 fan but bro that’s so awesome !! Glad you got all those boxes to add to collection!!
Oddly my favourite thing so far is the gaming strategy guides- kids today honestly have no idea of the struggles we had back then if you got stuck on a game 🤣

Loved guide books too, but only ever saw them in the stores the little money i had as a kid was spent on aquiring new games.
I would hold on to some of that stuff. It will go up in value
Can't wait to see a video update of your collection after you've added in all the new storage items.
This is just mental. You now have a N64 collection of the gods. Cheers Rick, another sweet episode!
Very nice video and stream for a rough Monday. Thank you guys for having me there.👍And favorite strategy guide would have to be Pokemon Red and Blue and Gold and Silver. Have the better of the Gold and Silver at home but always on the look out for a Red and Blue at the right price.
Me and dad finally watched it retro! You scored well-your BIGGEST fan
WOW I thought your head was going to go all scanners on us Congrats 💕🍾🎈🎉💥💥🎊🥳

Insane pick ups. Good stuff brother
Definitely insane pickup and definitely an awesome negotiation!!! Great job!
All those game informer type mags, are my choice for the favorite pick-ups. Loved getting them as a kid.
MANNNN I USED TO LOVE THOSE OLD SEGA/SNES COMMERICAL TAKE ME BACK TO THE 90S
I remember unfolding and keeping the boxes for N64 games flat with the manuals, but after I left home I think my other siblings traded them in with the games for Wii games or something.
The Troll 2 sound byte at the In The Zone sold comps had me rolling

Pretty epic haul. Not only are there some gems in there, but if you ever have a wobbly table you have plenty of copies of Madden 99 to even it out :)
DAMNNNNNN! the dream pick up for a lot of people... just a bit jealous 😂
That small soldiers PS1 game is so good. I put so many hours in to that thing back in the day
This just gave me a big boost of motivation to get my collection going again 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The good thing about all those copies of the same games is you can just do a quantity list on eBay for all the sales. Saves time and money.
Tomb Raider and resident evil ps 1 strategy guides were my favorites!
My go to guidebook was definitely Pokémon red/blue , no way I would have cleared that game as a kid without it
My top 3 guide books were Star Wars Episode 1: Racer, Jurassic Park Trespasser, and Tomb Raider Chronicles. Those books got me through those games without a doubt. I loved them.

@RetroRick I am close to finishing a complete set of loose N64 games, I only have a few CIB N64 games ... What I would give to have half of what's on that table!
Crazy score!!! Wow Rick
Awesome haul Retro Rick
Oblivion was the most used guidebook for me
Good to see some NES in there too!
These are some great pickups man. Some of the best pickups I have ever seen! :)
Wcw nwo revenge was one of my favourite games on the N64 ever. Superb. Think I only played no mercy more
And before Guide Books, you sent an actually letter to the Video Game Developer/publisher (Sierra Online) to get hints. (yeah, Apple IIe days) lol
Just watched small soliders with my toodler daughter yesterday
