One of the greatest songs and 100% the best national anthem. Ever. I have no Welsh heritage but this gets me everytime. Tears me up. It's beautiful and a message all nations should stand for. If we ever meet aliens and play some sport against them, this should be the worlds anthem
It's not standard though. The Dutch don't respect their own national anthem or other patriottic symbolism very much either and it used to see it as a competition, who could thing the loudest and who could whistle through the other's anthem the loudest. But that's changing a bit and nice guests singing with passion are starting to get respected.

live in the province of Groningen in The Netherlands.. got visitors from another province and they sang their anthem.. SITTING.. we stood up and blew them away with OUR anthem...

Sitting the Welsh fans above the Dutch supporters shows how much they were trusted not to cause trouble. That shows a good reputation.
