Today I range and efficeny test the Audi E-Tron S from Oslo over Haukeli (1100m) to Stavanger. Will it be as thirsty as it was on the Norwegian High Speed Run?

That E-Tron charging curve is really impressive getting over 61kWh in only 31 minuites!
Will watch the video later as I’m in the office now 👀. Will get my etron S Sportback tomorrow! Can’t wait! Plenty of videos to come on my channel as well 😊
Awesome, congrats :)
Hey Kris what's up. Keep it up content is improving with each video
Thanks a lot :)
Great video Kris. But what we really want to know, with it being the 'S' is what is the performance, handling, comfort and refinement like in comparison to the 55?
Hopefully my review will drop on Thrusday if I can have it finished in time :)
@@KrisRifa sure, I look forward to it!
Hey Kris, nice video, but don't diss the narrow and twisty roads. They are what make Norway the country it is. Much better feeling driving through these roads and enjoying the view than being stuck on a highway ;) - Even if it is more challenging!
The scenery is really nice in Norway. Yet some roads are too narrow especially for folks used to drive in North America. Such twisty narrow roads are also common in Scotland.
Hi Chris, have you ever done a direct comparison between the e-tron 55 and the S under same conditions (weather, temperatures, speed,…). If so, what is the difference in consumption and range? Thanks for your information.
Hi Kris, beautiful car is it! :)
If you plan your routes, how to you calculate that chargers are available. Worse case you come to a charging place and you need to queue - maybe several cars, this would be a nightmare. The more EV´s are on the road the more likely it is. If you have an appointment to go to it can be hairy.
Hi Kris. The road route that the Rout Planner suggests is closed in winter !! Therefore, you have to drive via Haukeli. You drove R13 it is better to drive E39.
I really appreciate your videos, I'm waiting to order a Q4.
Best regards Steinar Stensland.
what winter tires you running?
✌👏👍👌💖
Electric cars are good for commute but when it comes to travelling are terrible. No way i am going to wait 30+ minutes on a charging station when i can wait 5 minutes
@@tomstorm7398 Hahahaha gotta love electric car fanboys that simply can't face the facts...
Well, if you don't have the time or need to take a 30 minute pause/stop on a seven and half hour drive, in winter time when the range is much poorer than in summer. Well, then this EV is not for you :) The Porsche Taycan 4S Performance can go almost 600km on a charge in summer and charges even faster than this, that might be a better fit for you :)
@@KrisRifa you are right about that! I believe in 5 years time electric cars will charge exceptionally fast and they will be the best choice! For my at this time especially in my country hybrid is the way to go! Keep the great videos coming ;)
@@tomstorm7398 Lol you are funny! He did an almost 8 hour journey and in that case 30 minutes for a stop is not bad, on the opposite it's necessary. I had in mind a route that i do quite often that's roughly 600km and it takes around 5:30 hours. Given that in an electric car you have to drive very conservative and at a lower speed than normal to achieve the advertised range i stand by my opinion. I wouldn't buy an electric car yet. I don't understand why you think it's smart and better to do the same route in more time but that's ok. I am happy for the people that can spend more time because it's the only way electric cars will improve ;)
@@tomstorm7398 Well i rarely do it without any stop, I usually stop at the gas station midway fuel up, pee and in 5 minutes of i go ;) Best wishes, Happy New year and stay healthy! ;)
