Lovely car. I can appreciate the technology, power and comfort but it makes no sense at that price with that sort of range given the options that sort of budget would give you. Can't get over the amount of car reviews you're getting through at present. Great review Mark.
Great review Nobby, very expensive but not surprising at that, it's some size of a bus and I like the tech in the Audis but I very much doubt if it's in many people's budgets. I must say tho' I think it's very impressive in that colour tho'I think I'd have a Skoda Enyaq which I know isn't in the same league in size or price but that'd be my choice.
Nice review, this has an s badge, not an RS, it should be compared to an S6 not necessarily an RS7, price wise it seems somewhat of a bargain compared to a Porsche Taycan CrossTurismo.. The automotive manufacturers are not maling it easy for the consumer to compare between ice and ev, we need to educate ourselves to better compare many new offers, cheers
Bigger the battery, the more units of electricity it needs, the more expensive to charge. No more than other EVs but the bigger the battery the more energy needed.
@@NobbyOnCars do you know any specific costs to charge the car in this video? and is it more money to charge it fast say for example at a supermarket car park
Brilliant review. As always. This Audi sum parts do not add up in any sense. That said streets ahead of any Tesla. e Q4 fully spec'd would make far more sense if those 4 Rings means everything.
@@NobbyOnCars Sorry, my bad wording. I mean all the glitches with the in car entertainment/satnav that seems to be plaguing VW group cars with the latest version.
@@johns14a Get ya. More recent software versions seem to have sorted this. I've recently driven Q4, ID.4 and Enyaq and haven't noticed any issues. Early ID.3 was all over the place.
@@NobbyOnCars That's good to know. I have a friend with a 6 month old ID3 and it's been an utter nightmare for her. Maybe it's just an 'England' thing? I'll get her to hassle the dealer even more 😂
€120,000 for this car with a 300km range?? I think I need my hearing checked because you would want to be off your game to buy one of these!! Typical Audi you need to pay extra for EVERYTHING!! If I won the Euromillions I wouldn't even consider this.
We all know what we are getting with the “fat etron”… big inefficient lump with lovely interior. I can’t believe there’s no rear AC controls, 40k Kodiaq has that. Bit unfair to compare the S to the RS models, they are more raw power, the S are more “quick but not crazy”. 300km range but imagine if you drove it with vigour uphill with AC in the rain. That’s around 200km maybe less! €120k on a car and you have to charge it every night like a schmuck! Maybe you should have “staff” to do that?
I could listen to Nobby for hours and not tire of the accent. Oh, the reviews are great, too.

Flat to the….! I’ll slow down come Sept, the summer just allows me film in evenings during the weekdays etc
This one I like a lot. Maybe an Audi I'll keep an eye on, had no idea this existed till this review. I prefer this to a Model Y by far.
Fantastic review

Have an Enyaq at the moment, a good all rounder.
@@NobbyOnCars I believe from what my brother tells me that the Enyaq's very quick as one of his neighbours has one.
@@stevencampbell1150 wouldn’t say it’s quick, brisk enough acceleration but it’s a heavy car.

Hi, when you mentioned it would cost a lot of money to charge, can you explain further please as I am new to EV's, thanks!

a cheaper solution alright!
Doesn’t this S model have 3 motors not 2 as mentioned?
Where do they put the 3rd motor? Roof rack?
Nice looking car but the range and the VW group issues with the electrics make it a non starter for me.
What electrical issues in particular?
