you gotta watch actual WRC clips, will mind blow you... watch north Europe Stages, its insane how fast the go over huge jumps. All the respect to ken block but if you wanna see a fast driver in WRC he's not the one, but he could drift like crazy and has rly good videos.

These are public roads in small countryside village area with low speed limits. in WRC drivers first go through the route in a normal car, writing up notes of corners, jumps etc. Then a practice run with race car, polishing the notes and memorizing the run. Race is next, co-driver reads these notes about 2-3 sec forehand of what's coming. Numbers 1-6 mean gear, those like 150 or 200 mean distance in meters - I wonder if this is done here the same way, 3 runs in total.
I love videos like this, Isle of Man TT is beyond insanity as well.

I have and will always believe rally drivers are the most universal in any sport/competition involving driving a car/truck.

You ought to watch "Climb Dance", which is an old Pikes Peak video in the 1980s, where Ari Vatanen drove up Pikes Peak in the Peugeot 405 Turbo-16 Grand Raid.

Top speed in modern WRC1 us around 120 mph.
rally drivers are amazing and in the 80s it was the best that could be, now they are very limited in performance....they are definitely the best drivers in the world

Also these narrow 1,5 car wide roads are very common in european country side. They are used for anything, motorcycles, cars, massive trucks! Just need to know how to drive to survive there^^
True some people argue racing cars is not a real sport, u sit the whole time... While drivers loose up to 8kg a race (Atleast that what it was 15 years ago!) in indy car! Another cool thing to watch for adrenaline is the 3 wide indy car start at indianapolis or the 3 wide racing in nascar for example daytona or talladega! May also want to check the in car exhales after a crash! Very interesting!
there are no laps there are stages and they usually make their way around the country (with some repeat stages) over the days the rallye goes. Also notice how while downhill he drives the car w/ 1 hand as he is shifting way in the corner!
The GoPro has a hard time ,long before the human eye b.c. our brain works like a stabelizer while the gopro can't handle getting slapüped that way.
This is Pikes Peak, not Top Gear road. That road is called Transfagarasan and it's in Romania.

Check the old group b rally cars out they were too fast so they shut the class down
"Too fast" isn't really the correct terminology. They were too fast for the time and technical abilities, but not as fadt as newer WRC cars.
What rally?
Ken was really good what he did but not actual rally. He lost like minutes to fastest drivers. Gymkhana: flashy and if you want to be fast you drive exactly the opposite way.
