    I just purchased mines and going to be returning it. They increased the price and now don’t include the spare parts besides the 1.1 orifice.

      They don’t send out any spare parts as the new 2.0 has new upgraded parts and filters. Seen this answered on Amazon by the seller

    Thanks for the video - very clear. I have to say that new foam lances have had a lot of video coverage in the last couple of years, but your video is the first that suggests flushing through with clean water after use will prolong the life of your lance. Well done! Subbed.

    It's interesting how the foam clings on longer on the protected side ( Right side). Wasn't expecting that. Can anyone explain this phenomena?

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  Рік тому +1

      It's definitely odd. If i get some free time, I'm going to do some more testing to see if can come up with an explanation.

    Thanks for the review, I also have a cheap foam cannon, looking to upgrade.
    Besides making thick vs thinner foam, I wonder which one actually cuts the dirt off better, That’s the actual goal.
    Anyone notice the cleaning difference?

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  3 роки тому +2

      There is no cleaning difference at all. Thick foam just sticks on the surface a bit longer and it’s more visually appealing. Other than that, from a purely functional standpoint, cheaper cannons will still be fine. I do like that this one holds more solution than my cheaper one though

    • @AbidAli-bo8sv
      @AbidAli-bo8sv Рік тому +2

      Cleaning abilities depends on the the soap shampoo you use, not on a cannon. If you want more. Cleaning, a higher pH solution is better, but also strips wax on the paint.

      @@TheCarDetailingChannel great demo and thanks for clarifying. I take it that when you concluded in the video with having "good foam" @16:55 you meant simply thicker rather than better performing foam (compared to the cheap aliexpress model) right?

    It's not a bad Cannon, but their Karcher adapters are terrible, nightmare to fit to a Karcher style pressure washer, avoid it like the plague!

      @@TheCarDetailingChannel Initially I used the K2 Compact, now using AVA Smart P60 same problem with the adapter on both, I have an Autoglym cannon as well, no such issues with the adapter on that....I've had to buy the quick realese connector and get an adapter from autoglym, to resolve the problem

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel

      Aw I see. The some Karchers do have those annoying twist together adapters. Too bad because the foam cannon itself is probably the best I’ve ever seen when it comes to foaming ability

      It helps to fully mix soap with water in the canister.

    Thanks for the video, nice info and like someone else said on another comment that no one talks about rinsing to prolong life, very good tip!!!
    In regards to the thick foam, some say the thicker the foam the longer it clings to the surface, so not sure if that is considered a waste bit a need to help break down more dirt. Again, awesome video!!!

    I just recently got this MJJC. I got the Mr pink shampoo used 2 oz of it and rest water . Changed the orfice to the 1.1 . Used the dewalt electric pressure washer 2100 with 1.2 gpm. My foam wasn’t that thick any suggestions on how to make it thicker or could it be a foam cannon issue ?

    • @TheCarDetailingChannel
      @TheCarDetailingChannel  2 роки тому

      Did you have the knob turned to the max foam setting? My pressure washer pumps out 1.3 gpm, i use 2 to 3 oz of any soap, and the foam it produces is super thick. Maybe send the company an email and see if they can assist
