So many gems in this one. I introduced all of my fraternity brothers back to KITH back in the day and they all loved it! Bruce and Mark always headlined the skits that made us laugh the most but they are all briliant.
I remember almost buying that set up from International Stereo in the late 90's. They used to have this stereophonic demo to illustrate how super awesome their speakers were. If you could walk into to the store you could get credit. I was a student first year student at a tech school with a bunch of debt, and they wanted to set me up with a $2,500 stereo system. I'm super lucky I used my one phone call to call somebody who talked me out of it. College debt was bad enough.
I love the Evan sketches because it really captures the persona of a very abusive, coercive, edge-lord type ex. He looked and talked just liked this, and was also very metal in his own mind. I swear he didn't start out that way but we reached a point where every single time I began to speak on a topic that didn't interest (wasn't about) him, we would literally be this abrasive and weird to steer me back onto topics that he thought were " way more relevant and interesting for *both* of us". I guess it just makes me feel more sane seeing that personality type expressed in absurd humor; makes me feel less alone. Love these guys!
Never realized even after 28 years exactly how similar in structure this is to the "Jim F****n' Morrison!! That's WHO!!", Doors sketch a couple or three years before this sketch aired.
Is that whistling tune a track KITH made up, or is it one of those production music pieces(like what comes from Ren and Stimpy) I love how amusing it soundsssss.
I seem to enjoy both Monty Python and SCTV a lot more than KITH. I don’t know exactly why, their material is clever but sometimes it’s just absurd yet not that funny. Their skits just leave me hanging, often there isn’t the typical punch line or wrap up of the skit. I don’t know, I’ll keep watching em though.
"The facepalm gesture ... is often ... used to indicate incredulous disbelief that another could make a statement that the reader considers unusually foolish or naive."
I used to work in a music store and I always wanted to approach customers while whistling that song.
There's still time

0:20 - Mmm, love that whistling score! 🙂

I'm laughing because I'm actually looking for studio speakers. I guess I'm into... sound
Stan Lee really did do a lot of cameos.
Aahhh
Stan Lee was a goofball.
🤣
Not even him bruh
@Ingrid Aeschliman Do you really think people are that stupid? This spamming technique is already irritating.
NOT NOW MURRAY NOT NOW MURRAY
That fucking whistle song makes me wheeze laugh every damn time.
I always wonder what a stereo salesmen did to them to make this sketch...
Evan and his demonic walking music is worth the price of whatever he's selling.
It's so "casual" 😂
I had a friend named Don once I...saved his life.
…..Thank you?
".....Thank you?"
Kills me.
"Can't you tell that I was late because I love you??!" "BAH"
LULZ
Not now, Murray!
Shit, I was here six years ago?
This is funnier in 144p than most of the 4k "comedy" on Netflix.
Yes. Yes it is
I’d take it a step further and say it’s funnier than ALL the comedy on Netflix
Trying to figure out why the video resolution would affect the comedy.
@@ZeroSum23 it doesn’t, op is weird
Can you comment on how good the casting is for something with such a comparatively low frame rate?
"did you notice my name tag at all?"
"yep".
"i'll guess you'll start using my name soon."
*sigh* Hi, tomitstube.
@@Ringcaat LMAOOOOO 😂 underrated comment
Is your name Evan too?
Seeing this explains why the last guy who owned the stereo store hated Murray so much.

college debt is just a much bigger, expensive stereo unit
@@NEOMASS0 My education hasn't gone obsolete quite that fast tho, lol
That system is now sitting at a nearby thrift store for 20 dollars. LoL
I'm starting to look for a HIFI system and I always think back to this skit.
I thought he was suppose to always sell shoes.
Satan can sell you anything. Except your soul.
chunky a redux it's his part time
+NEOMASSOFPOOP...The Dongaloid is a much better salescum than my sweet dark Lord Beelzebubba
Murray is an instigator!

Ugh sounds awful. Glad you’re rid of him.
You were obviously still in love with him at the time you posted this...
@@BusterCherry1 what a strange thing to say

Between this, the Jim Morrison sketch, and the "sound system haggling sketch", I think Bruce was fond of satirizing certain retail personalities
0:58 - "Thank you?"
I use this line way more than I probably should.🤷
This is EXACTLY what it was like buying gear from independent electronics stores in the 80s.
HA

This skit has a major ASMR quality.
Perhaps you maybe interested in a new sound system?
Does it nerd?

Cool pickup line to use on a potential mate...
Is that where you go to be a Doors fan?
No Frampton references in this store!

It is time... for the sound room. hahahhahahah
The whole thing. Right now. Lmao
This is one of those sketches that makes zero sense. As a customer, any customer, you would leave. Good ending though.
Joe Madden it's kids in the hall. It takes a normal situation and adds a curve
The number of sketches that make logical sense is very small. It's not at all a prerequisite for comedy.
so you'd say it would be suited for crime drama documentary?
It makes perfect sense to me!
This skit could have done without the Satan part.
Lucifer was the prince of music, I bet Satan knows a bit about........sound
"The facepalm gesture ... is often ... used to indicate incredulous disbelief that another could make a statement that the reader considers unusually foolish or naive."
I imagine it's not easy to come up with endings to these.
