- Wanted to mix it up a bit and noticed I hadn't done any NBA games yet so I figured why not knock out a couple. Still plenty of NFL games on SNES to get to so if that's your thing there will be more in the future for sure. I little variety is good for the soul though.
Now when it comes to basketball I will admit I am not even novice level when it comes to understanding the intricacies but I have a real good suspicion that what I did to the Hornets is illegal. It started out fairly normal, getting a feel for the controls, a bit of back and forth with the cpu putting the pressure on since I don't know what I'm doing really. Then I found the steal button and it all came undone.
Less sim and more arcade, like an isometric NBA Jam with more players. I had fun with it though I wish there had been some commentary or anything else besides the crowd, sneaker squeaks, and occasional "three" voice sample. Decent starting point now let's see how it evolves.
❤ played the heck out of this game back in the day!!
Pure nostalgia. Came out in 94 when I was 12 years old and I played it constantly. Whole 82 game seasons.
Xmas 95...i played this game so many hours. Pure Childhood Nostalgy. By far the greatest Basketball Game ever made
Probably my all time favorite basketball game ever.
This music takes me all the way back!
The GOAT of NBA Games
Yes. By far...

I love this game. Steve Kerr is GOAT in this game. He dont miss any 3 ball😅
peak childhood
I miss the 90's
First thing I did was trade Danny Manning back to the Clippers for Dominique Wilkins 😂
That menu screen hits hard nostalgia for some reason.
I miss getting twenty rebounds with Rodman in this game!
So much fun 😊
Yeah great times
Every once in a while, I would just try and shoot a jumper, the game would take over, and I dunked it anyways
That breakaway dunk from the the dotted line! 4:45
I'm surprised you picked my favorite NBA team (the Atlanta Hawks)
They were nasty with Mookie Blaylock and Stacey Augmon
i have always had the atari 2600 and NES, then at some point i got the SNES used i think, didnt have very many games for it but this is one i did have and probably played the most out of the snes games. lost it all in a house fire, have since replaced the atari and NES, some day if i come across a good deal i will get another SNES.
How far we've come together
The classic.
Could score 700 + in a full length game…mark price with over 500points….got no reason to make it up either..bust a 3..steal it bust anothern…repeat..over n over…me and my brother kept scoring more n more till 700 something was most..all 3s with the top shooters…I was 14 in 94…
I love old cheese like that, like Davison from UNC in NCAA basketball bucketing 3s from full court.
@@sports_fix or that play on tecmo bowl where the one player has warp speed and you could run around the field makin fun of em..lmao. Good times
That's when EA made top quality games 🎮. Now they company has gone to shit
Mugsy is the best
I always played with fouls on so I could win 😂
It's way too easy with them off and no out of bounds
Do you have fouls turned off? The number of steals is silly.
Of you have a bunch of rules changed; just casually tossing it back court. - I played a ton of this game. Important to switch from Arcade to Simulation mode when you start it up.
for these I just boot up the game and go into the quickest game mode, I don't tweak any settings except the game clock to keep it as default as possible, just like when you popped it in for the first time.
Only bad thing was you couldn't trade bench players. Huge disappointment.
Dumbest game ever too many turnovers and not passing the ball you would have scored 100 points in 25 minutes. I had a player went for 20 points 20 rebounds 10 assists 10 blocks and 10 steals.
