i reckon even more progressives have heard of ben than ana. same principle here, considering nick's audience was way smaller at the time than it is now.
i've never understood that argument. is it a common thing for someone to get way more popular after being made fun of by someone with a bigger audience? they might have their 15 minutes of fame but after that they will just fall back into obscurity. i'm sure there are rare exceptions but i doubt its enough to justify never speaking about people you disagree with.

I was so terrified it just so happens that i have a fear of goblins and im pretty sure nobody else here including nick (and other creators i watch such as Sven Johnson) fears goblins like i do.
No 💀 when u said “he’s balding, just like you.” And ended the video! I was floored!!!! I just dropped back like I- 😭😭 if I were in his shoes I’d be UPSET, foaming at the mouth even. I know that pissed him off.

The "you're giving him a platform" argument was so odd to me since you had a significantly smaller platform than him at the time. If anything, you were gaining a platform off of him. I, and many others, found your channel because of your videos about Nick. I think they still hold up well. PS I really like this style of video too :) it feels like some behind the scenes stuff, I'm a fan

I always think about how the super alt-right sucked-in guy from the Rabbit Hole Podcast started his process of questioning his views because he saw one of his fav creators debate someone on the left and watched their views not hold up to scrutiny.
I know you were gonna leave out the “nick foster, the joke police is here” part but I literally quote it every day bc it made me cry laughing and my partner quotes it at me to make me laugh while I’m down

This is why I admire you - you're not afraid to call out shitty, sexist behavior, no matter how many subscribers/followers the other person has. You stick to your guns and you manage to be funny while still having a moral compass. We need more Nick Greens in the world.

People found out Nick's wife had a miscarriage a long time ago and started making jokes about it. And guess what...Nick and his wife were pissed about it! They literally went on to say the people making those jokes are evil and that's not a funny joke. The audacity. I guess it's only okay to joke about other people's trauma, not Nick's🤷♀️

I really like the idea of a retrospective series, I really like seeing some of the behind the scenes of your videos, and they act as a cool supplement to then re-watch those videos, plus, it would be a cool way for you to add any updates that you couldn't necessarily make a whole video out of. All in all, great vid! Keep up the good work!
I remember first watching that interview, I was new to your channel and it was so funny that he was so upset and contradictory. Groundbreaking moment when you called him bald to his face in the interview. Keep doing what you’re doing!

While a serious and informative approach to people like this is great, they do often depress me. Especially when it comes to misogynistic dudes, which I’ve found there are a lot of in UA-cam Shorts. I enjoy being able to sit down and watch videos goofing on these people, it gives me a good laugh. Nick Foster made a completely idiot of himself and I doubt anyone who saw your videos went over to support him. I’ve literally heard nothing about him since.
I’m happy to hear someone else admitting how tiring it is sometimes. I don’t know if it’s just me because my friends seem to be always willing to confront the ugly in the world and sometimes I just feel fatigued and can’t bring myself to even confront things that are going on. And sometimes just laughing at its expense helps. I’m probably now projecting on to you what I’m feeling but I was just happy to hear someone else say they aren’t always in the mood to hear informative and serious stuff.
I didn’t think it was problematic, specifically because you were punching UP at a creator with a larger following, which is the right way to criticize.

I haven't seen anything of NF unless he's getting dunked on by other creators. As much as I would like to see an interview with BN & his posse, I think staying clear of them is good.
i rlly love that you arent just posting “content” but you are genuinely communicating thoughts and feelings to us in a healthy way. you share your opinions and hold ppl accountable in a very smart and responsible way while also being hilarious every time. def do stuff like this when it comes to certain creators because background gives a lot of depth to these situations

Your interview with Nick Foster, whilst not the first video of yours I saw, is my favourite video of yours to date (closely followed by you reading Harry Potter fanfic) - you were so savage and the way you end the call by calling him bald and just disconnecting kills me every time. The way you goofed on him constantly is just so satisfying to watch and god he deserves it (and worse)
I'm like 36 years late to this. But. My favorite part of that interview is NG saying "I'm making fun of you," and Foster stares blankly back at Nick, full of confusion and bad cricket noises.
