Every year is different here in the Snowy's! We had a better season of snow last year unfortunately, fingers crossed for next winter!

2:13 new to backpacking but this is probably the first time I hear someone recommends Snow Peak tents for the backcountry. I see a lot of people say Snow Peak's tents aren't good for serious backpacking because they're heavy and of course too expensive for what they offers. What's your thoughts on that? I think Snow Peak's Fal Pro Air 2 is probably something you refer to in this case? Could you do more Snow Peak tents reviews (both family and backpacking tents) in the future? 🙏

Hi there! Not sure where or if Chris has recommended Snow Peak tents in this video? Generally Snow Peak tents are better for car camping or potentially short overnight hikes, however, some models like the Fal Pro Air 2 may be ideal for hiking or backcountry trips. Just depends on the model and specs. We don't have any experience using Snow Peak tents on backcountry trips so we can't really provide feedback. We can recommend Helsport for 4-season backcountry trips as they offer superb protection while still being super lightweight. For general hiking in 3-season conditions, the Mont Moondance or Hyperlite Ultamid with the inner are what we most commonly recommend.

@@tomsoutdoorsgearguide 2:13 was where I heard he mentioned Snow Peak. But now I rewatched the video again, I think he meant "Snow Peg" and not "Snow Peak" lol sorry English isn't my primary language. Thanks for the recommendations and the always good product reviews! Cheers.
