    Great video, super informative and well articulated!
    If the high back on your binding isnt sitting flush (different angle than your boot) with the back of your boot should you adjust the forward lean until it is flush to have more contact?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  5 місяців тому

      You do not need to worry about that adjustment unless you want to. Moving it forward will make the binding quicker onto your heel edge. Check out this video all about forward lean for a great visual explanation-> What Is Forward Lean And What Does It Do?

    Very helpful. thanks. I read somewhere the highback should be parallel to your heel side edge?

      Up to you, feel free to play with it but I’ve ridden it both ways and personally don’t notice that big of a difference

    Hey! You mentioned centering a asym ankle strap differently than a symmetrical ankle strap. Can you further explain that? My Rome DODs are great but I have ankle strap pain pretty bad. Mainly from the lift so I have to loosen it before hoping on but hoping to find more solutions

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  5 місяців тому

      It's not really "different" it can just be a little harder because it might not be super obvious as to the exact center of the strap with the asym shape. Try moving the strap just 1 hole to the left or right also if you still have pain, it's pretty crazy how a small move can make a big difference.

    Most burton bindings have three hole options per side for the ankle strap attachment- why? & which one is for shorter boots vs longer boots?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  7 місяців тому

      Just a little more customization. You can move the strap down for a little easier boot flex side to side. Move it up for a sturdier feel. Or even use multiple holes just to position it in a way that it feels right with your specific boots.

    Hey, i have a size 10 boots and getting brand new bindings! I am getting RIDE A8 ones and they come in medium 6-10 and a large 10.5+. What would be your suggestion on the binding size? Thank you!

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  2 місяці тому +1

      Always go for the bindings that match with your boot size. Check out this video for a great visual explanation-> ua-cam.com/video/Q4AVDSwt8mQ/v-deo.html

    Hey I recently bought my boots and bindings and I noticed that my bindings are too wide that my boots can move left to right for about 1cm. Is that normal or will a smaller binding fix that?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  8 місяців тому

      Probably, what size boots do you have and what are the make, style and size of the bindings you have?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  8 місяців тому +1

      @@ernie13288 Tough to say for sure because those are older bindings but usually a 7.5 boot would be in a smaller sized binding overall. Not sure what the exact size range of those older Medium/Large Sims binding is but I'm guessing you would need a S/M in those. Check out this video about binding sizing for future reference. ua-cam.com/video/Q4AVDSwt8mQ/v-deo.html

    No matter what I do how much I adjust the highback in. My heel still gaps over at the back by alot. What is the solution here?

    • @TimSahlberg
      @TimSahlberg 6 місяців тому

      And it's only the boot and bindings I'm adjusting here. Not the placement of the binding on the board

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  6 місяців тому

      Are you talking about your heel hanging over the heel edge of the board more than your toe? Also what bindings do you have?

  • @PhilippSchneeweis

    Are the sizes of the chart at 1:47 from the boots or the foot

    can you please show how to adjust foot bed?

    • @PeterGlennSports
      @PeterGlennSports  7 місяців тому

      It really depends on the bindings you are looking at. For the Ride binding in this video you loosen a screw at the heel and slide the foot bed to where you like it. For the Burton you unsnap the foot bed at the heel, slide it to where you like it and then snap it back in.
