2:20 - yes, there is harm. You are potentially taking a GC from someone else, that could be selected? Or am I wrong? Unless I misunderstood you, but it sounded like "I already have a GC, but there is no harm for me to apply again".

Hi Simon! Got a question: I made my entry and got the Success, Entry Received message. Then I was silly and wanted to double check had I uploaded the correct photo, so I pressed back from my browser and refreshed the page. Refreshing the page (not hitting submit) caused to prompt a message on a yellow background: "The information submitted has not been accepted because it matches a previous entry in our records. Individuals may only submit one entry per DV period. Duplicate entries will not be accepted." - So does this mean I'm disqualified because of a stupid manual error I did? I feel so stupid now.

Thanks for explaining question #6. I was born in a different country than the one I reside in currently so I'm entering the lottery from there since it's eligible. This is correct from what I'm understanding.

Some people upload photo and it says photography successfully, others show photo, once you click next page for the full info it says photography received. Is there any different between these two?
If your photo isn't right. It will not go through or show up on that square.

You should’ve received the interview invitation date by now. It normally takes 5-8 weeks after filling out and submitting Ds-260.

And al so my dv lottery satisfaction supercent because i got confirmation number but i have one problem now as per your policy as per dv lottery policy my name is abdul raz i have last name in family name and In my family name, my name was Razaq Raziq and in my first name, Abdul Raziq was written, but when my confirmation code was sent, my name is Razaq Abdul, so it is wrong. Will this cause any issue or not to me in the further process of V Lottery because it is very important for me I am very concerned.

Hello BritSimon, German viewer here. I have one question regarding the City of Birth: My Wife was born in Kazakhstan, the City is named Щучинск. Her German Documents translate the Name of that City to "Schtuschinsk", but the correct english name for this City would be "Shchuchinsk". Should we enter the exact Name of the City as it is stated in her Documents or as it would be correct in English?

Normal caps rules. Yes 0 if there are no kids.
