I just started ordering from Factor, ordering the Keto meals. Be careful with the "pre recommended" meals that are already in the cart for the next shipment. I had to change a few because the actual carbs were extremely high. So, for all the people ordering the keto meals, be sure to double check EVERY nutritional menu before submitting your final order.
I'm a single guy and I hate to cook.....fast food was killing me. I feel like I eat like a king with these meals. Every one has been incredibly delicious and none has gone to waste. The keto shakes are pricey, but are super good. I spend that much at gas stations on junk drinks.

I’ve had really good luck so far with this company. Their customer service has been great. It was a bit challenging to remember to verify the next weeks order before the deadline at first. I hate mushrooms and a few of the meals had them and they comped me when I called. Yes it’s a bit pricey, but not really when I could spend 10-12 at Taco Bell and feel horrible afterwards. EVOL frozen meals is a great option for fancy eating at the grocery store. I love their butternut squash ravioli or their butternut squash lasagna!

Hello! A lot of the frozen meal delivery services cater to specific diets (for example Diet To Go and BistroMD). If you're looking for a general frozen meal delivery service, you may want to check out Mosaic Foods. They're relatively new and we haven't fully reviewed them yet but it looks like they have a really interesting box!
Top Chef is one that has frozen meal delivery. Their shipping is expensive unless you order a lot of meals. I wish Food Box HQ would review them.

looks good,but im concerned if they use preservatives or anything to make the food taste good or to keep it fresh for a long time
They don't use preservatives. They send it to you and you gotta eat it within a week before it goes bad because it is fresh refrigerated food.

Do these have the best portions for premodern?
Out of all the premade meal delivery services out there, Factor probably wins the biggest portion sizes but not by much. Most premade services have smaller portions. But Factor has an add on marketplace where you can add additional portions of meats, sides, soups, snacks, and desserts. Their soups are delicious. I was Very surprised how much I like it. Even the cheese cake, that was an interesting flavor. I'm on the Keto diet. For Factor..

When I go to check out and it shows order total is that the total amount per month I pay or is that per week? If it’s per week I don’t know how anyone can afford this.

Oh no need to put them in the freezer. They’re fresh so you can eat them throughout the week right from the refrigerator, then heated up.
Problem for me as a 6'2" guy is I'd still be hungry after a portion like that

Hey Emily, I was able to find this service in Canada here. Question I had was is this a keto-only service? What if I want to shove couple hundred carbs in my face? What would be a good service for me in that case?
Good question! I’d go with HelloFresh. They have some of the tastiest meals I’ve ever made. Marley Spoon is another good one but their recipes were a little more “hit or miss” in terms of flavor consistency.

Honestly, is that enough food per serving?
Unless these are different versions, I heard these were keto friendly, but your dish had rice. I don't like buying food and having to either be tempted or waste money and food by throwing it away. I just wish there were pre-prepped meals that don't have carb servings.

They have Keto meals. I've been eating the for a month and love it!
So, she said it was wild rice which isn't a grain, but a seed so the carb count is really low.
All the “rice” I’ve gotten was cauliflower rice. Pretty sure they don’t use rice.
I have ordered these but after watching this, I am really worried about the portion size. It looks tiny an unfulfilling
You have the same problem regardless of company. I've tried Yes please! They went out of business. And I tried Freshly. They have 2 problems portion size and variety.
I ate one of their meals for lunch plus a small side and I’m starving. I think it would probably take two of their meals to fill me up.

@@brendanbyrne2736 I did freshly for 2 years, the only time I had a problem with their portion sizes was when they sent me the meals undersized (happened a lot tbh, always weigh your food if you use freshly). Overall I thought the portion size was perfect when they didn't screw it up. Variety is a huge problem though. They keep getting rid of my favorite meals so I always ended up ordering a hand full of meals 2 or 3 times a week per week.
Honestly I think its just the video. The portions are greatly sized in my opinion and I'm not a small eater. I always fill full and I think they give great options. You aren't eating the same thing over and over. I say give them a try everything I've tried taste so good. It's a healthy home cooked meal. Best meal service and I've tried quite a few.
Emily, I love your reviews. I definitely have differing opinions but that's the beauty of reviews. I cancelled Factor75 after one round of ordering. I ordered eighteen entrees and four add-on drinks I found the food to taste awful. The cold packaging was not nearly as good as Freshly, and Factor75's prices are a bit more. Most meals are chicken-centric. After my mom got sick from the Quiche Lorraine, and the Salmon looked a little suspicious, I called it a day on Factor.
Thank you! We’re going to be re-reviewing factor soon because I’ve heard a few similar comment from others :( too bad because they used to be really great. Cookunity and Fresh Meal Plan are other options to check out that I’ve enjoyed.

I love factor!
Beware: I deactivated my account after placing an order. I was never told that I also needed to manually cancel the order. The representative I talked to told me this happens all the time. Why have they not fixed this issue? This is a poor way to run a company.
People, most don't know about gyro being pronounced "yeeroh." English has always been dumb (and yes, it's not an English word, but it's spelling wasn't changed either).
People get mixed up, because it is pronounced "yee-ro", when referring to the Greek version, but the Middle-Eastern version is pronounced "gyro".
I am here for the funny comments 🤣🤣🤣. Is "paint chips" considered a veggie? 🤪

I love the idea of this. However, is there any information out there on the chemical composition of the plastic packaging? No way am I re-heating that in that plastic. I see it is "BPA freed". The problem with plastics is there are dozens of other leach chemicals in them other than BPAs that impact the endocrine system of mammals. There literally is no food-safe plastic. It continues to leach poisonous chemicals as it ''naturally'' degrades. If this service cost 50% more because it used glass or stainless steel packaging that carried a deposit and was returnable for reuse, I would use it.
She mentions nothing about sodium content. Anyone know?

No I won't laugh at how you pronounce tzatziki sauce because I couldn't really hear it but I cringed when you said Gyro! Its pronounced YeeRoh!. Was looking at reviews because I just signed up for a two week trial of the Factor75 Keto meals. I have high hopes they will be tasty meals. Yeah, I'm with the others in that I don't eat or order much in chicken dishes but did manage one each week! Thanks for the review!
Haha okay will pronounce it “yeeroh” from now on! Hope you enjoy Factor’s meals! If you need another option, look into Snap Kitchen. Just reviewed their box and was pretty impressed. They have diet-specific meals too (like keto, paleo, etc). Only downside is they are only delivering in certain locations :/.

Not a big chicken fan and I’ve managed to get 8 meals a week with no chicken at all. There are a lot of choices.
The portions look small! I would probably have to eat 2 of them to be satisfied and I can’t see myself exercising and eating this small. I would def have to supplement with another meal.
You would need to eat small portions for weight loss. However, add fruits to your diet and veggies. Maybe a small snack like a cup of popcorn, etc. Good luck will be on my journey as well.
You eat like a linebacker or something? The portion sizes are appropriate for a healthy adult.
@Rene Marie A "healthy" adult should be able to maintain their body weight with these meals. People lose weight with this if they are not currently a healthy body weights.
@Rene Marie I have this service and the meals are closer to 700 calories a meal. 3 x 700 = 2100 calories a day assuming you consume nothing else (no milk in your coffee, no sugar in your tea, no snacks, no post workout protein shake, etc). The average caloric intake for a healthy adult is 2,500 for a man, 2,000 for a woman. I'm not giving medical advice here so obviously this isn't specific to a particular person, but holds true in general. To the original point, the idea that these meals are too small is incorrect in general if you are at a healthy body weight.
Now if you are indeed overweight and are looking to lose weight then yes these meals will be too small to maintain your body weight, but that is the point. It's not that the meals are too small it's that the person is too big.
I bought I box of instant rice and whip up a cup to supplement the portion size. Affordable way to get full and still have an easy delicious meal!

I have been subscribing to Factor for over 6 months. Their steak and pork meals are really good. The chicken meals are not my favorite. I like only one or two of those, even though the chicken is always very tender and moist. Oven cooking is much better than the microwave for me. Their meals are of a high quality. They are a bit expensive, but shipping is free. Their main entrees are the best. I don't like their sides a lot of times, but they give you such a large portion of the entree that I don't mind so much. Their shrimp dishes are devine! These are my favorite. I like spicy foods, so the Keto Poblano is one of my favorites also.

Chicken is good especially the chicken cacciatore and the chicken and Artichoke, as for their steaks and pork they are good as well! Can't really go wrong with much of their meals

I wish the meat was halal. There is a huge Muslim market they are missing out on
I looked at some of their meals and the calories per meal is outrageous! Even for the low calorie options. I can grill a 3oz chicken, 100g of quinoa w/light butter and a spinach salad with carrots and tomato wedges for 300 calories. Their low calorie meals are around 500 to 700 calories! That's too much per meal!
300 calories for breakfast is fine. For lunch and dinner 500-700 is fine. It depends on where those calories are coming from (and I'm not talking food, but fats, proteins, carbs, etc.). It also depends on how many calories a body burns, as to what a body needs to maintain a good healthy weight. I'm guessing you're not a nutritionist.

The company refused to make any change or refund despite there was a bug preventing the first time sign-up users from updating the first delivery box. The user experience was quite disappointing. Will not recommend subscribing this service.

Don’t know if anyone is still using this company but I’m probably on my 6 7th meal so far brought the fruit smoothie the 6 pack(let’s just say when I don’t have time to blend or use my juicer I will have my handy smoothies and juice from Factory 🤤) and I love everything definitely so delicious I’m African American and I swear by this site I have been feeling good more energy at one point I wasn’t eating because I just didn’t know where to start far as eating better and shifting my diet but I will sayyyyyyyyy be mindful and very selective of the meal you pick if you don’t go in and edit what U might like you could possibly end up disappointed because I hand selected maybe one or two meals that did not fill me but also had a lot more that one was enough and had me not feening for sweets or more food which is amazing I’m sure it’s a mind thing but trust me go for the salmon chicken or broccoli meals most of those meals were not fulfilling you have been warned 😂 definitely pricey but I got my months worth coming on top of still having meals left and try to eat vegetables or fruits with water through the day if U start to want a snack works like a charm and I sort of have a good eating regime so far ❤

What happened to the art of actually cooking from scratch. Get the ingredients and cook. Would be far less money to buy yourself and maybe freeze for fastnessater in the week. No way would I choose to buy per week that sort of food.
That’s what I do and I enjoy it, I learn about a lot of meals on UA-cam and I try them out. I did try factor75 and it was convenient but that’s about it, the taste was nothing to brag about. At least that’s my opinion.
Some people are willing to pay the price for convenience and spend that time doing other things with their life. For me, I work all day. I want to come home and exercise, write, play with my dog, go for walks, spend time with friends and family, etc. Cooking and cleaning up takes time away from those things after I work all day. Just because you might not see the value in it doesn’t mean that others do not.
