@@austinbrady From a technology standpoint, it is a marvel, but it is a solution for a problem that does not exist. It does nothing better in most context than our current technology can do and it probably does those things a bit worst. I tried to use spacial/mixed reality technologies for education, but unless it has got a gun, most people are bored with it really quickly. @@Diggnuts You've got a great point. I'm sure over time we will find a better use for VR/AR than we currently use it for. I'm not sure if the value it offers right now is worth $3,499 + tax which sounds similar to your take.
At $3500 it's hard not to look at the opportunity cost. There's so much more I could do with that money. But I hope people do get it so Apple puts more time into it and see if they can make it accessible to the average consumer. (Or maybe a competitor decides to take that on) I don't want this to go the way of Google Glass.
That's so true although it is obviously directed towards a different clientele 😢 I think that we only need to wait for google to start working on a cheaper version of these!!
You these effects at the beginning look awesome ;) My hot take is that this is meant to normalize the idea of future apple products being based in our vision and not just handhelp and desk hardware. Early adopters will support future development, and provide a foundation to produce more optimized and affordable vision series to come out for the next decade. Imagine two years down the road its twice as slim as it is now and has 5-hours of battery, and in twenty-fouty years if your phone acted as the module, and is also powered with an M-series (or better) chip and broadcasts vision os to a set of apple glasses, or contacts, or something super slim thats not invasive to interacting with humans. Or Ready player one all the way. Just fun, fantastical dreams of apple here. :)
If the Apple Vision Pro is perfect like what they was talking about their features So it deserves to be a part of the entertainment specially of the resting time.
From what you've told me I think the quest 3 is much better, you can do a lot of that stuff on that for alot cheaper, and for anyone who says it's a gaming headset it's not, apparently it was intended to be an everyday device but is mainly used for games
What an idiotic statement. You can get unlimited usage if you plug in sir. Plugs are all around us even on an airplane. Since the battery isn’t internal, just buy an extra battery and get 4hrs! SMH. What the heck is the big deal with the battery?
@@VincentDouglass just about convenience. I don’t like having my controller plugged in as I play games, but also really dislike the battery life of the ps5 controllers. Battery packs are just another thing you have to remember to charge. It’s not a huge deal, but wanting better battery life isn’t idiotic at all. Just don’t want to worry about plugging it in all the time. I rarely use my iPad, and when I do want to use it, it’s always drained. So I have to wait 5 minutes before it can be used. So I use it even less because of that. With a device that only has 2h battery life, I hope the experience isn’t going to be like that, especially after I’d fork out almost $4k for it

I made this video 7-months ago when the Vision Pro wasn't even out yet. Sorry for the confusion but I hope to make one with the actual product soon. Thanks for the comment!
Will you buy the Vision Pro when it drops next year?
Nope.... It is dead in the water.

You crushed the animated color on the glasses! Love your detailed breakdown of how this will change our interactions with computers.
Where did you buy the ski goggles from in the beginning haha?
Haha, I think Amazon
Just found ur yt channel and love how interactive u are with the comments in your videos
U earned a sub❤❤
Hey appreciate it! Welcome to the channel.
The quality of the video is so good :0
Thanks friend!
Tbh. I will get excited once this tech is in sunglasses form factor. I'm Samsung all day but if this was pulled off, it would def grab my attention.

Great thorough review
Thanks! 🥽
That’s insane 3500$ and the battery life of only 2 hrs I’d expect at least 5-8 hrs but i guess the amount of technology would make that hard to do
This is true
It's better to wait until this technology advances to a point where the price decreases and the battery life increases.
I agree that the battery life definitely needs to be longer.
I know! I would like to see at least 4-6 hours just so you can use it as needed without worrying about it dying.

Woah!! This looks pretty interesting.
It’s quite the unique piece of technology.
I once thought of this concept . Glad seeing it being dine but they have limited functionality as per now. There's way more they could do.
That is true
Those look so believable on you! Wow!
Haha! Video editing magic.
What if you wear prescription glasses? Doesn’t look like it will be easy or comfortable to use..
They have special lenses you can buy to match your prescription glasses so you don't need to wear them while using the Vision Pro
Did he say 4 gran? That’s trolling!
$3,499 USD + tax + shipping (which we don't have an exact number on yet).
Finally someone who knows how to make a short
In what way?

Talking about the short for this video btw
@@Yung_beege Thanks!

Glad it was helpful!
Waiting but thank you for the review!
Good choice! You bet.
I think we need to jus actually be people and interact with the world this is gonna create more isolation
I would agree
This should be worth atleast 1200$
I would consider it around $1,000-$1,500 but I just don't need or want a VR/AR headset. I don't see the value yet for my workflow.
Very good video!
Thank you very much!
So, let me get this straight. Apple expects me to wear a $4,000 headset just to watch a two hour movie?
Not just movie but somwthing that can replace every devices
If that's the most important feature to you then yes. Although there are many features you can enjoy that's the biggest one for me right now.
Good point.
Imagine a vision pro car
That would be interesting
It’s basically a Mac book on your face. So that’s why it’s 3,500. But I disagree with the battery life

Consumerism
🤷🏽♂️

Yeah
Some youtuber is basing on this video to discourage people about buying the vision pro
And?
It’s bad
Not Netflix not UA-cam for that price mmm…

I suppose we could all wait for others to copy Apple. It is bound to happen - it always does.
Yeah, it's already being done but they are so cheap it's not worth it either
So can I just 3D video my life take some sort of drug and keep reliving it

what about ur eyes

Is this ai it looks fake
Most of it is real and no AI was used. The “headset” is snow goggles and we added a color-way on top using VFX.
