Poe was such a dark/mysterious guy, but his poems were really good. you just wouldn’t expect the things that turn out to happen in his poems. we are presenting this poem in my class and i enjoy it a lot.
"Annabel Lee" and "The Raven" were both written by Mathew Franklin Whittier, younger brother of poet John Greenleaf Whittier, and falsely claimed in a sort of 19th-century identity theft by Edgar Allan Poe. My paper, "Evidence that Edgar Allan Poe Stole 'The Raven' from Mathew Franklin Whittier" explains. It is downloadable at the following link. It can also be found by searching on the title on Academia.edu. www.ial.goldthread.com/MFW_The_Raven.pdf
No doubt Annabelle Lee was inspired by Poe's wife who was very sick with TB whose eventual death desteoyed him He used to fall into a drunken sleep on her grave late at night longing to have her back with him It's no surprise that he had such a fascination with death
I think this is the best version of Poe's poem so far .
Ayari Imen I agree
We watched this same video in school in 6th grade which I still am in. And this is my favorite poem that Poe has ever made.
I'm watching it for 8th right now, and this is such a masterpiece.

Ajalon Grace, I've never been able to find the instrumental

who is the singer???
Robert Levon Been, BRMC
is this the studio version?
Chef d'Oeuvre.
The singer kinda sounds like Johnny Deep. I know it's not him but just think about his voice and hear this
Wow, I think Robert channeled Freddie Mercury for this one.

@PsycheDeliaInMotion Sorry mate, that's beyond a shadow of a doubt Robert Been singing this song (and playing the piano).
jajaja la cancon que toca maduro
What does "coveted" mean?
Saba khelashvili it means so like separate
Don't mind me if you've happened to figure out the meaning by now, but the meaning of coveted is to envy or be jealous of.
annabel lee is sung by robert,
/watch?v=wS42vxIPwyk
@PsycheDeliaInMotion hahaha
A woman needs to sing it
Annabelle Lee that wouldn't make sense.. The poet was a man..
Annabelle Lee Stevie Nicks has its on her 2011 album In Your Dreams
What a preposterous. The lyric hero is indeed a man
Joan Baez sang it in 1967. Look it up!
nah it's robert
Edgar Allan Poe
er, no
this is not creepy
WAR-ning /Koby it is not supposed to be creepy.
I much prefer Robert to Freddie Mercury (wo is a totally overrated singer imo)
lol stfu
