Nothing can replace the way I felt when I finally completed this game! I was like 14 or 15, it took me a long time trying to figure out everything. The Ocarina of Time will always have its place in my heart! Good job guys
This now has more views than the run uploaded to the official GDQ Channel - ZFG is a god
Congratulations on an amazing run in a marathonsetting ZFG! Also great choice of couch commentators. All in all extremely impressive and entertaining run with clear insightful commentary. Great job!
Best run. Hardly felt like a speed run, which is amazing. Well done couch, too!
Dude whenever those gdq videos come out i'm always searching for zfg and i'm so happy when i found you
Those runs are a hype fuel
TREMENDOUS run. Absolutely TREMENDOUS.
Best glitch ever, just absolutely astounding, super difficult but so completely rewarding. a speedrunners dream. amazing
The chat was dying for donations haha
Poverty chat was extremely happy for the lack of “hooonk!!”
the commentary was just toooo juicy
Lmfao Zfgs grin when file name was called
I look forward to a Dry highlight vid for this!
Grimrapings this wasn’t on zfg’s channel so I don’t think there will be one.
Donations scroll at the bottom... reading them out is a luxury. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn’t. This is a speed run charity. The announcers say they can’t read them all... sometimes that means zero :p
It's nice to be able to comment and discuss the run and event. The GDQ channel has comments disabled now lol
I can hear your profile pic
Did they give a reason? The comments were never rude or anything.
@@martinn.6082 Well they probably just want to avoid hearing about the fact that they're a bunch of poopoo heads. GDQ has a certain notoriety for being fucking trash.
Very thankful for the uploads from all the streamers as all the videos got comments turned off on the main channel
Also: Awesome run ZFG!
Had to get on and rewatch it!
So nice to have a minimal amount of donations read out. Most of them are stupid, unoriginal or just depressing.
What an awesome run! And awesome commentary too
The deku srm execution together with gns's speech was really impressive
I cant get enough of ZFG talking. I feel like runs where runners constantly, non stop explain stuff in such a high quality are GOAT and will never be beaten by funny donations or good gameplay.
ZFG podcast when?
there were a few dollars donated towards naming the file PayDry but Banjo was a more pressing matter
I think my favorite explanation has to be for the door of time x'D
ZFG: "This door is misaligned, so if I clip out of bounds and back in bounds, now I'm on the other side."
Legends say, during the whole speed run he performed the *infinite donations glitch*
I was expecting ZFG to allow some donations, but instead, the classic “how’s your day guys?” lol
1:39:53 i thought the same thing hahah
Congrats ZFG!! So happy all this hard work payed off at GDQ!! :,)
This aint a videogame anymore, it's a godlike program that people want to deconstruct as much as theoretically possible @_@
Look at it now with ACE and SRM lol you weren't kidding 🤣
Great run ZFG. Awesome commentary and explanations from yourself and the couch.
Dude let's go you finally played Banjo, this waiting really paid off
Highlight of the week, no exaggeration my #1 favorite run of the marathon.
Man, it's amazing. Exactly a month ago from today this was uploaded.
NSR run of about 3 hours.
Now with ACE, it's about 30-ish minutes. Such a massive time save in a matter of weeks.
Speedrunning is scary.
When watching this live the crowd's reaction at asschest had me dying.... best part of the run hands down lol
Love the run zfg! Excellent goddamn work
Awesome run, zfg, so glad I was able to catch you playing Banjo live!
ZFG: throws cucco into pen
Audience: *applause*
This is so crazy/cool to see the game dissected and broken like this. And love the energy from the crowd!! Thanks for the video!!
One of the BEST runs at AGDQ this year. Thanks a ton ZFG for showing this off!!!
Shoutouts to everyone that donated for Banjo filename. You all played a small part in making this run so great and ZFG is proud of you.
Congrats on doing so well at a GDQ run despite the pressure, I'm really glad I was able to catch it live
When the most powerful item in zelda is a bottle with some bugs in it.
THANK YOU for being a legend and dodging those donations faster than Sonic the Hedgehog. I really wanted to enjoy the event but I can't make it through so many of the runs due to excessive "honk"s and "orb" chanting from the crowds as well as the mood killer donations. Love ya!
Kinda sad that GDQ has all comments disabled. Removes a lot of good potential for discussion on games I don't know that much about. :/
FIREDELL10 yep too bad the upper echelon are shills and don’t want to be called out on it. They’re so fragile they know they’ll be exposed.
Like you said they ruin it for the content homies.
I just checked three gdq videos at random and they all had comments enabled. Maybe it was a mistake, or the comments have been turned back on for some reason? I don’t know
The comments are back from now on, I just checked
It's too late but better than nothing I guess
@@WestonEvans This actually wasn't their fault in this case, it was that thing with UA-cam setting all kid channels to not have them, and GDQ was marked as a kid channel.
lmao fucking youtube.
Just watched this last night on twitch vod. Great job man. Flawless Victory.
Super fun to watch run. You are a great content creator
Bless, no GDQ chat
Nothing but respect for you ZFG, been watching a lot of your runs lately & enjoy every single one of them. have played OOT dozens of times, as a little kid and even growing up. tried running randomizers myself as well lately and having a blast. cant manage to pull off any of the glitches though haha. mad respect.
Holy shit a GDQ run without actual cringe donations. THANK YOU for constantly talking to keep the donations quiet.
I love how at first it's a pretty glitchy run, but relatively easy to follow. You can at least understand where he's at in terms of progress.
Then he goes on a bottle adventure...
Wow, that has to be one of the craziest speed runs I've seen. Personally I prefer playing / watching games without glitches but it's mind-blowing how intricate and difficult some of these are. Well done to ZFG and everyone who's contributed to OOT over the years.
this speedrun is so outdated, but so fun to watch. I love your work ZFG, keep up your good work, and don't forget, switch OOT is a framefreak
How long after this was the Zoras river srm route figured out?
glad I didn't have to tune into DDQ for this
2:19:00 as much as i enjoyed the lack of meme donations. i can't help but feel bad for her. would YOU want to talk over this commentary?
I could not watch the whole run, what happened to her?
2:18:15 zfg showed his controller. That's what everyone wanted right?
Next time we will donate to call link "Feet" then we can finally rest!
Genuinely the best run of the marathon, great job ZFG.
Awesome Bro, you're my favorite GDQ Speedrunner ^^
I've just met you on YT a year or two years ago; if only I've seen your channel before ☺
legendary commentary. great game. perfect to watch thank you :)
So mad that I missed this. Got called into work. Good run dude
This is totally bonkers, couldn't catch the stream lately because of work and waited forward to the full explanatiopn of the new glitch here. And wtf, this is totally on a new level of setup, intel and execution. And then again without you fucking mad lad doing the actual thing in a marathon it wouldn't be possible, bravo ZFG.
Drinking game: Take a shot every time someone in the audience yells 'What!?'
Cameron M. Hard mode: take a shot every time you hear the word "precise"
Phenomenal performance and couch. Glad the inane yelling and rowdiness was relatively low, especially for OOT.
Inb4 zfg banned from GDQ for dodging donation messages
"How dare you focus on your run"
Someone just has to go dig up something from an old stream, show it out of context, and boom everyone who ever ran a zelda game is banned forever.
@@TheFatestPat I feel like this is referencing something no-one knows
I like it.
@@Risuna cancel culture in a nutshell
Fantastic run zfg. But there's something immeasurably satisfying about beating this game normally
FastChest is at 1:47:02, you’re welcome.
43:39 I was actually wondering if they were never going to explain ISG you know in case there's someone watching that doesn't know anything
