That center brace comes with the car stock. I would suggest the harder front drive shafts from strc. The only weak point on the car. Also a lot of the parts from the hyper sc fit right on it as well.

I just threw together another Hyper TT...I built one a few years back, and sold it...was mad at myself ever since, so I built another. Love these little things, they handle a lot of power and run great. Plus, they have a very unique sound.
Where can they be found? Is there anything like this out there now by other companies?

I still have my old hyper tt converted to a 1/10 monster truck. Currently running a 1/8th 1900kvmotor on 4s.
The only weak point seems to be the wheels. It has a habit of stripping the wheel hexes within a couple of runs.
The stock one. I think it's a 13t?

it's just 1/10 scale truckie dude. i just got a brand new redcat caldera RTR BUSHLESS. 3500mah 2s lipo all metal drive train shipped to my front door for $89 USD..that's a Hella cheap. i can install a 60A esc for $15 or less.
The motro is mounted in the center with only 4 shocks.
It's basically the same damn thing. You can get whatever the heck MT
wheel/tires pattern set for $15-$25
You can get 1/10 unbranded HSP/HPI/REDCAT volcano PRO Brushless RTR
3650 3300KV brushless, all metal gears. 8 aluminum oil filled shocks.
3500 mah 2s 30 lipo for $110...this is a hella cheap
$15 for 60A so you can run 3s..
4s would kill the motor, gears..ect

Thats a nice brushless system and all but kinexsis has an esc/motor combo that is 75 dollars. It comes with a 70 amp esc and a motor in either 3000kv or 4000kv and the motor is a four pole motor. Horizon hobby sells it and it has tons of good reviews and is 3s capable.
Yeah, but that's$75US which for the Aussie market would be more expensive than to buy this.
