**December 20th, 2024** Things to know: - if your room is not EXTREMELY well lit, with modern lighting, there is a good chance you will run into tracking issues - If your room is almost entirely empty/doesn't have much furniture or stuff on the walls, you will likely have issues with tracking in certain spots - Open windows can mess with the Ultimate Trackers - if you have base stations/lighthouses, these are not worth buying - If you have MANY Wifi devices on 2.4GHz, you may experience tracking issues or issues with other devices. This shouldn't be an issue for most people
Starting to see I really know NOTHING about FBT, despite being really eager to try it out… The thing is, I didn’t realize fbt might require such external support-I am against anything that requires a base station, partly because I don’t want to be limited by that, but largely because I literally couldn’t set them up if I wanted to in this space. I have very little room to move as well…… at the very least, they’d have plenty of objects to base off of..
I love the idea of inside out tracking, but it really needs to be improved. Hopefully in the future these can be improved with more firmware updates or a better version of the trackers comes out.
I bought these for my friend. they have a really small room. and they work fine when you do the room calibration when you first use them. but as soon as they turn them off. and turn them back on the next day, the trackers cant connect to the base station for the life of them, and they have to redo the room calibration in order for them to start tracking again, which is annoying. they havent changed anything in their room. the lights, the layout, the position of the dongle, and where they are standing. it still just wont connect or wont track. im wondering if there is any way to fix this.
Nope, these issues are still quite prominent. One of my moderators has been entirely unable to use their set of ultimate trackers, even with all of the fixes. They are not consistent. When they work, they are great. But the experience still varies wildly from person to person.
@Andres_tvs vr is a face heater, and its cinda hevy to wear for a long time. I use quest 2 and it's HOT. Games like vrchat will make you tired even I you are just standing.
@@emilattila say that for yourself, i live in the mountains and i gotta wear two sets of clothes to stay warm, inside the house I'm gonna sweat bullets you say? FUCK YEAH!!!1!1!!! (Xdxd) But yeah i do get your point, and that's exactly what I'm looking up to, i want to go to bed absolutely sore (i have some insomnia problems 😭)

Hello Ivy and it seems like they are pretty good except all the negatives but I would probably use them as well
do IR lights count?
Now see the fact your room needs to be extremely well lit puts me off, so idk if I'll get these trackers 😭
Are they working with IR-Lights?

They do need to reduce how many times "PLEASE TURN TO THE RIGHT!" is said when setting up. It's every 5 seconds.
The goat is posting again ❤️

I'm not sure if you already said this or not but what headset are you using?
I use a Vive Pro Eye and occasionally a Quest 3
Question!: so can the vive ultimate trackers be standalone for quest 2? No need for a pc? Love your vids!
Nah pc needed for now
yo ivycomb 1 little questionaroo is your fursona based on a axolotl? (i cant mentally figure out if it should be a yes or a no)
