  • Tight hamstrings are a nuisance that slow down progress when dealing with a back or knee problem.
People often try to stretch for back and knee pain relief, but they’re often surprised to realize just how tight their hamstrings are.
And even more surprising is how little flexibility they actually gain even though they put in a significant amount of time and effort with stretching the hamstrings.
But worst of all…it can be so frustrating to initially feel looser in the hamstrings right after stretching and then feel tight all over again by the next day.
In this video, Dr. David covers the top 7 tips to get long-term relief from tight hamstrings.

I'm in shock bc just this morning, I was thinking about my tight hamstrings, which seized up on me two days ago when I got down on mg knees for the first time in I can't remember when. Since then they are seriously sore and oddly enough, I have lower back pain the pain in my hip is radiating to my knee cap.
I have NICO in my jaw, which so far is not healing and it spread to my hips. What a mess. But the squeezing my butt muscles alternately as I walk is helping. Thank you so much uor sharing your knowledge!

Hi again, Dr. David. I just read my comment again and want to reiterate that I thank YOU for helping me to rehab my hip. I did go to PT specialists in SugarLand TX, but all they did was make me RIDE A STATIONARY BIKE for the first 20 minutes! Excruciating pain!!! Needless to say, I came home and I FOUND YOU on YT. And for the past 2 years, you have helped me enormously. You have common sense and compassion about our bodies and you aren't dismissive of our age-related ailments. Thank you again. One of these days, I'm going to drive out there to El Paso to meet you! 🪴💚🌻🥀🦋
