This week the whole gang is back to review the new horror film nobody is talking about. Also nobody's seen it. Or heard of it. Or cares that they haven't seen it or heard of it. Anyway, it's called "Friend Request" and it's about Facebook, and ghosts, and maybe cyborg hornets or something. Enjoy.

"It's a laugh track for horror"
Never heard that analogy before but its pretty great
Mark O'Neill this is the perfect analogy
I like how the subtitles on the trailer started good, but slowly started falling apart.
I'm not posted this!
It's possessing man and haunting man
Did you tried change your password?
this is not a code
The girl of my class
Trailer subtitles:
>"So according to you this video just magical appeared in your timeline"
>"I'm not posted this"
>"Did you tried to change your password"
>"That's a normal code looks like"
>"It's possessing man and haunting man"
>"We're all been dying for her"
I hope Lawrence enjoyed the Punisher trailer. I could see it in the back during the ad read
Kahoot Gamer man spider!
firstly perfect picture secondly that trailer was so good
He was watching it at the end of the openhaus video too
That was the dopest trailer I've ever seen
It's funny how Adam just completely avoided addressing the fact that he unfriended Elyse.
how is it funny?
Cyprus Glenn he'll learn what it's like to be lonely!
He didn't want their mutual friends to start believing that Elyse is like a sister to him
Cyprus Glenn ya that was pretty good.
Sibling feud.
Could you guys announce which movie you're going to review that week? Seeing the movie beforehand makes this podcast that much more gr8
I wouldn't have spent 2 minutes listening to someone talk about Friend Request and here I am, 30 minutes in, completely wrapped up in the conversation. Good work!
SO GLAD this is going to be a weekly video series FUNHAUS puts on. Great decision
Filmhaus has quickly become my favorite show on this channel. I love Demo Disk but Filmhaus is always awesome. Thanks guys for making such great content
I'm glad this series is picking up, it means we're one step closer to Matt Peake demonstrating how to make a dish from Blue Apron wearing just an apron.
I seriously love that the longer they talked about the movie, and tried to explain it and unconfuse themselves, the MORE confused they all got.
And if you're going to do horror movie reviews all October, can you do a podcast twice a week?! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I'd LOVE to have more horror things to watch with Rooster Teeth in general.
I love these. No matter how many people say they hate the show, they hate the cast, they hate the concept, they hate the channel, they hate the movies, they hate the commentary, I love this.
Please keep doing filmhaus, it's by far one of my favorite series that you guys do on the channel.
thumbnail too spooky
Its bruce without a beard. Dick.
aisacirema calm down
She look hawt!
Thumbnail over 100 haunted
yea I was to scared to click on it, only reason I am here is because of autoplay
Filmhaus is one of my favourite bits of content you guys do, I'd love to see more of it
I'm so glad that you guys started this as a series, keep it up. It's fun to hear your oonions
quickly becoming my favorite funhaus show. i know from watching these guys for a long time they are passionate about films and its great to hear all of their opinions. hope it becomes a permanent weekly show. also elyse, it has been a long time of trying to decide, but i can clearly say now that you are in fact my favorite member of funhaus
DO EVENT HORIZON! I've seen the movie so many times and can't get enough of you guys talking about it
You guys should definitely go with a horror movie every day of October. The October Horror Movie Challenge would be great for these movie podcasts
This was really funny!! 10 rocks in a hard place out of 0 friends
"One missed call" would be fun to see you review
Thee_Sayian_Prince only if they do the original Japanese movie, because that one was actually scary, unlike the shit American remake
My favorite thing about Funhaus is that with any given video, there's probably a 70% chance that James spent half the video railroading everyone into a weird tangential discussion about early 90s stuff
Horror movies during October sounds great to me! Super glad this show will be weekly now!
Jump scares are the horror equivalent to a laugh track. No truer words have been spoken
I can't even look at the face of the exorcist girl without being struck with pure fear. When I was 7 years old, my cousin was babysitting me and he put me alone in a dark room to watch movies. He had a whole case of dvd's and I asked him to find one, he showed me the exorcist *1973 version* . I asked him if it was a comedy and he said sort of, then proceeded to put it in and leave me alone in a dark room for what I remember as being the worst 2 hours of my life. I was so terrified I couldn't get up to turn the light on, or even pee. I held my piss until the movie was over, and until he came in to get me an HOUR after the movie was over when my mom came to pick me up.
COULDN'T WHAT?? COULDN'T WHAT FOR FUCK SAKE?
ARE YOU OK?

Hey Adam! I love Film House Good Job getting the green light on a weekly thing going to the end of the year! Extremely entertaining! My wife says you guys are ruining me for all movies which is Awesome! Keep up the good work!
Love these and happy they're a weekly thing now. Would love the horror month idea
I don't deserve your upload schedule, you guys work so hard
I’m so happy that Filmhaus will be every week! I will be watching!
What's good about most horror flicks is that they try to make it feel like "this could be you" or wondering how to stop this unstoppable slasher/monster/ghost/etc. but with this if you're not on facebook or just don't make friends with literally everyone you meet you're fine.
“I’m not posted this” fantastic subtitles lol
love the movie podcasts lads and lasses, glad they are weekly!
You know what i appreciate about horror it's the UA-cam community is nice and has a productive conversation most of the time to where some of the cartoon community is cancer, most of the anime community is cancer, nearly all of the wresleing community is cancer, almost all of the gameing community is cancer, and the comic community is also in the same boat as horror
Thank you for coming back Adam, we missed you.
Weekly filmhaus!? Right on!! Thanks Quidd, Thank you FUnhaus
Funhaus should start a movie club. At the end of each podcast they select a movie for them and the audience to watch that week, then they discuss it on the next podcast.
"End the podcast on a jump scare" actually got me 😅😅
A movie like VHS, REC (the series), or Hush I feel would be able to have decent content to discuss, or even The Babadook. I love horror movies and there's not many I haven't seen, excluding international language releases only. I'm very glad Filmhaus is now weekly for at least the rest of 2017, will love to see what you guys find to talk about.
This is by far my favorite Funhaus series.
I enjoy that you are doing this series like this, as a connoisseur of trash, I enjoy finding more trash to work.
This is my favorite show you guys do! Kinda wish you guys would tell us what movies your were gonna watch so I could relate to what you say. But I also like being surprised! Awesome either way!
Bring back filmhaus. The funhouse pod is fun but this shit is the real shit. I need it
I'd like to have sat in on the meeting when they were discussing making Friend Request. Probably went like this:
"We need a new teenage horror movie to get the kids in. What's popular these days with the millennials?"
"Uh... jumpscares? Social media?"
"I'VE GOT IT!"
Love these movie podcasts! Keep them up please
Love FilmHaus, really glad your doing it more regularly. Need Don in there though to review one of the five films he's seen 😛
Please do a podcast about your favourite halloween themed movies, or something about your must-see movies on halloween! I have this weird thing about entertaining halloween related horrorfilms, like Trick 'r Treat (2007) or some other b-class monster movies. I'd love to hear about your all time favourites.
Evil Dead would be pretty cool to watch ya'll discuss about it, or one of the old horror movie franchises (Scream, Nightmare on Elm St, Alien, etc)
The set up of this movie sounds like the facebook episode of southpark, Kyle finds a kid with no friends, friends him, and the kid gets obsessed with Kyle.
Didnt see this, not gonna but I really like this series. More and more please
Funhaus in October. I can't wait...
huehuehuehuheuhuehuehuehuheuhuehuehuehuehuheuhehueuheuheuhue
I agree and disagree with the anti-jump-scare sentiment. There's nothing wrong with jump-scares if they're done right. One film that did it's jump-scares right was John Carpenter's Halloween (1978) there's a scene when Dr. Loomis stands outside the Meyers' house and sees a few kids daring their friend to walk up and touch the door to the house. Loomis fakes an eerie voice to scare them away. Just after doing that, the sherrif startles Loomis by resting his hand on his shoulder. There is no suspenseful music, no loud sound bytes, there is nothing to add a scary effect other than the actors themselves. That scene goes down as my idea of the perfect jump scare. A good horror movie is one that is driven by its acting. The scariness should be drawn from the actors and the situations they find themselves in, not by the production crew making weird and loud noises with a soundboard.
Harald Hardrada the problem with jump scares is they relieve tension. If the director is trying to build emotion or suspense and then throw in a jump scare, it can ruin what they were actually trying to accomplish. I think a good example is the second Friday the 13th, at the beginning of the film when the protagonist from the first film is scared by the cat, it totally ruins what happens next. If it would have gone straight to what happened minus the cat jumping in the window, it would have had far more impact.
I LOVE FILM HAUS!!! I'm not a big fan of horror movies, but the one movie that I suggest you review is "Encounters of the fourth kind" it is one of the few horror movies that I still will recommend. Also I signed up to be a double first member 3 months ago, but I didn't have the option to say why I did. It's because of you guys and m'lady, keep up the great content and I can't wait to see some destiny 2 gameplay from Bruce and adam. Thank you Funhaus!
Oh and I almost forgot I'm on board with uncensored demo disk for fist members.
I know this is strange to say but listening to your beautiful voices makes my high a lot better
I love when old people get together to talk about how technologically inept they are
Can we get another trailer haus video?? Please? If not that's ok.
Those episodes were fucking hilarious
It would be great if you announce next week's movie so we could watch it ourselves and have it fresh in our minds.
The "horror" part of the horror movie podcast is that the only thing you're allowed to watch/talk about is 'Friend Request'.
There's an RL Stine book with essentially this exact plot, except without Facebook. I think it's called "the best friend".
Theres a pretty sweet bad horror film called "Invoked" that you should have a look at in October. It's like somebody's university media studies project.
From "Unfriended" to "Friend Request" - the movie industry is circling the drain so fast nowadays
I would love to see you guys talk about the french film Martyrs 2008 on one of the movie podcasts. I've never been brave enough to watch it, just reading the plot on wiki is far too chilling.
I like that Adam didn't bother to memorize or even wing the ad read.
Love love love these movie podcasts! Keep it up!
The horror movie theme for October sounds awesome
Might be cool to stagger between good ones and bad ones
Wasn't that movie released last year? I remember seing this movie on tv half a year ago
This show is weekly yessssssssssss
With as much money in saving watching these movie podcasts, I feel even more justified about my RT first subscription.
Thanks FH!
I would legitimately like to see a filmhaus about really good PG-13 horror. Feel like a lot of horror relies too heavily on the shock of violence, and gore. Would legitimately love to see movies that circumvent the hard R well. That, or just a bunch of horror you guys recommend in general.
New filmhaus so soon!? YAAAAAAAS
For the movie podcasts, maybe add a Go Watch in Theaters, Wait For Redbox (or rental), or skip it all together score.
You should cover the lower budget horror series Feast. First one is really good for the budget and managed to spawn 2 sequels that get really weird and go off the rails.
Am I the only one who saw this movie a year ago online and then saw all the ads for it and was like wtf I thought this bull shit was over.
The more I watch elyse the more I’m glad she took this job with Funhaus. Cause she meshes so well, like effortlessly
I'm definitely for the idea of spooky filmhaus october
TV's Bruce Greene.
That’d be great for October I’d love to see you guys only do horror films.
every Funhaus movie podcast: "stay at home and watch netflix"
It's similar to that South Park episode.
Robert Johnson probably why they didnt release it in 2016
take a shot every time Bruce makes a lah-rah joke
Funhaus's review of the movie sounds wayyy more exciting than the movie itself. lol
thank you elyse, for the tim and eric reference
Good to have the whole gang 😊
1 like for James' eye roll when Adam says they'll watch a horror movie every week.
Cracked me up.

Horror Movie Suggestions
(Assuming you aren't going to pick the worst movies you can find)
-The Exorcist - Nostalgia, original horror movie. See if it stands the test of time
-Constantine - horror-esque movie, probably lots to make fun of(Shia Lebouf, Tilda Swintin), All set in the DC Universe(technically)
-Freddy vs Jason - why watch one or the other when you could have BOTH
-Jason X - because Jason in Space (The laughs write themselves)
Awesome show! Keep them coming! I love watching the movie and then watching this show.
I love these podcasts
I would love a horror filmhaus for October!
No jon review of air bud. If his spelling is with an H I apologize.
Thanks FH ! i found a film to watch alone in my cabin in forest at night :)
I'd really like to see the Funhaus team review "Jason X" in October!
I knew I saw this movie like a year or so ago when I saw the trailer I was like "why does this movie look so familiar"
Please review The Thing 1982 please, I'm a huge Horror movie buff and I think you guys would have an interesting talk about it. its such a classic and the props are unbelievable. :) Love all your content guys :)
Did anyone already see this movie like last year or is it just me?
Old Woman Elyse think that was called unfriended last year
Initial release: 7 January 2016 in europe
No, different movies, unfriended was in 2014, this movie WAS released in Germany last year but had a US release yesterday. also unfriended is, while still shit, way better
he's jokin' guys
There's an Old Woman Elyse, Trippy Elyse....How many of you are there?!
I think VHS and The Poughkeepsie Tapes would make for good filmhaus horror discussions
I love FilmHuas. They always seem to review the movies I'm not going to go watch.
You guys have had over 650million total channel video views. Fair play that is amazing!
You guys should review Ghost Encounters 1 or 2. They're both really underrated
Gingerdead Man Trilogy, Evil Bong Trilogy, and the Gingerdead Man Evil Bong crossover
This movie is like that episode of South Park where Kyle befriends a loner but with killing
Lawrence's shirt is 10/10, I'm not sure if they're bats or birds not they are definitely stylin'
I would love to see more horror filmhaus for october
