His Christmas album "Bergweihnacht" remains the most sacred and precious album in our family. My Austrian Catholic mother married a Protestant and as a result of his church we didn't celebrate Christmas for the first 7 years of my life. Then, after they left my father's church we fully embraced Christmas and the Austrian traditions that my mother grew up with. "Bergweihnacht" was sold at our local German Deli and Import Store and symbolized our first Christmas. We play it every Christmas to this day. My first dachshund was also named Franzl in honor of Franzl Lang. Danke schön Franzl Lang for all that your music has meant to my family.

Franzl lang represente pour moi la joie bavaroise a l'état pur, son humour, son humilité aussi, il a toujours œuvrer pour que ses fans soient heureux il aurait aimé que l'on retienne sa joie de vivre, ce sont des mots touchant de la part d'une fille qui venait de perdre son père le 25 Décembre 2015. J'ai 18 ans et je suis un amoureux inconditionnel de l'œuvre richissime de Franzl Lang.

Sänger ist er bestimmt nicht der beste gewesen. Aber beim Jodeln kommt nach ihm ganz lange nichts. Absolut einmalig. Schön, dass es ihn gab.
