Jessie you was missed but your back and I'm ready to learn. I have been following your teaching and thanks for everything.
welcome back jessie we love ya man
did exactly what you did with two of your millet bags, a syringe of chestnuts and a syringe of comb's tooth. they're well on their way. very cool to watch
Please make more videos! 🥰 Can you please give me information on your bag and where to purchase? Also, how much is inside for you to have used to entire syringe? I ask to understand more. I was under the impression that you only used a small amount.
I have a bag that size with liquid culture. How many ccs to I put in to it please? Thanks
What's your opinion on the 70 vs 90+ IPA discussion. Does it really make a big difference or is it just a personal choice?
The only difference between the two in my opinion is you get more time to wipe the alcohol around with 70% vs it evaporating quickly at 90%. Both work just as well if applied correctly but 70% gives you more time to work with it. Alcohol will never be what solely kills 100% of the bacteria but either percent of alc will kill the same amount of bacteria. I would definitely recommend bleach/water followed up with alcohol if you’re sterilizing bins/tents/surfaces as long as its a 10% bleach by volume ratio. All opinion based to an extent I suppose
@@devito7196 Thanks.
could you explain what would happen if you took the inside of a stem as if you were going to make a clone, and simply dropped it into a grain spawn bag with some water?
you can do this without the sterilized water, the live sample is good enough !
I would use 1-2lb bags at most as 5-6lb bags will take a long time to colonize.
Once it starts to turn white should I try to spread it around or just leave it alone?
mix one at about 20% innoculated, and then mix again around 90 % inoculated
Thought you stopped doing stuff?
