Hi I have just recieved a 2006 325xi and sadly me and my dad felt a little uneasy since it sometimes has a bad rep for costing a lot for repairs. This video gives great advice for a possible potential problem for me so thank you, I appreciate it very much!

Thanks for the video just did this on my 02 330xi replace the lower control arm all the ball joints and upgraded to the Poly control arm bushings. I somehow managed to do it all without a press lol
+Jay Tarallo Thanks for the feedback!
Do you really need to disconnect the ball joints? Videos for the E46 non Xi show the bushings being replaced by just detaching the bushing mount and swinging the rear of control arm down with enough clearance to push on the new bushing assembly.
You absolutely don't. On my xi, I did it without a car lift and there was absolutely no reason to remove the control arm. You don't even need to remove the heat shield. Just unbolt and move it to the side a little bit. Pressing the bushings out is the real pain.
Exelent....
