Guess what!?!? There has been a third Russian ship found mysteriously missing an anchor shortly after shorn undersea cables. The Eagle S was stopped by the Finns and it seems there was also spy equipment on board. I think by maritime law that means the Finns get to keep the ship, but the question is: Eagle S ship value (18 yo unmaintained grey registery) cost to repair undersea cables?
This might be a lukewarm take regarding the weather; but its honestly the darkness which hits the hardest rather then the cold. Since the cold is escapable whilst the darkness isn't, nor do we have anything close that can replicate the effect of the sun.
I can definitely see what you mean, even though I tend to waver back and forth regarding the cold and the dark. Right now I'm freezing indoors and it's...just not very comfortable! The darkness is also a bit tough of course - but at least we're moving to lighter days now
Oh dude, I've been so late in checking these comments. I hope you found a good spot, but the area around Slussen (preferably high up) is good. I would imagine Monteliusvägen is a good spot for it. But personally I usually walk down to Hornsbergs strand and look at the fireworks there
9:46 “War is looming over Europe these days” Oh jeez, thats the last thing I need to hear in the months leading up to my trip to Sweden. But nonetheless, hopefully no kind of war happens in Sweden between now and when I go, or during my time in the country Enjoyed the recap of this year! It feels like its gone so quick lol
Oh don't worry about the foreseeable future! This is more that things are getting strained and that might have an effect in future decades :/ So just relax for now!
@@ThreeStarVagabondWell that is good to hear that something like a war isn’t going to happen in Sweden any time soon. I do tend to overthink things sometimes though
I will assume that it's either: 1) Damn fast system 2) Drones got caught in a strike by accident 3) The article I read was completely bogus, or 4) I misread something :D
@ThreeStarVagabond Well, it starts with a king that won't leave his bed - feuding in a fick measuring contest with a newspaper man. I mean... It can be interesting depending on how you aproach it.
@@ThreeStarVagabond ... and this is a topic, actually not so talked about in Sweden. Like how we traded our atomic bomb for American insurances... and still kept it in secret? How Karl Johan tried to quash freedom of the press, but lost to a 2 bit newspaper man in a dick measuring contest? There's a lot, and if you're passing Stockholm - the physical remnants are still here.
I think it's roughly 20% foreign born people right now. And well, I assume that conditions will improve - but I also assume that people who are immigrants now will end up "Swedish-ified" at some point. And if people end up sharing Swedish values and customs, who cares where they came from at one point? But that's just my view
@@ThreeStarVagabond I am from India but I believe that ones You leave one place and take asylum or migrate to any other country you should adopt the values of that Country , which many migrants do not do . Many European countries have already been Destroyed like UK , France.
As an Australian, I can relate to the "tragic incident" on road 66. Happy New Year for 2025! Keep the great vlogs coming throughout next year.
I knew that there were more people who would feel strongly about such a tragedy 😊 Cheers!
God fortsättning och gott nytt år. Tack för många fina vids under 2024.
God fortsättning och gott nytt år 😀 Och tack så mycket!
Miro has created the hot new expression in Sweden: "Don't be Danish"
I need to make a t-shirt 😀
Happy New Year Miro 🎉, from Brisbane, Australia 👋
Happy New Year to y'all down under :D
Visiting Stockholm in March. Your videos have been very helpful!
Thank you, really happy to hear that! And hope you'll enjoy your time here :D
Aloha and Happy New Year to you and Mrs. Vagabond!!
Thank you so much, and Happy New Years right back :D
Happy New Year Miro! Many thanks to Swedes for supporting Ukraine. And as usually thanks for the video, it's a great one as usually 🙂.
Happy New Year and thank you so much! :D Yeah, I'm happy that we're doing something in support at least! ^_^
Nice video. I did however react to the bit about Archer shooting down drones? 😮
Hmm? I think that's correct? I've seen reports that praise the accuracy, especially since it's quick enough to shoot down drones down there...
God fortsättnig Miro och önskar ett Gott Nytt År!😊
Tack! Gott nytt år och god fortsättning :D
Great video :)
Thank you! 😀
No problem! :D
After I escaped America... it is extremely true, Sweden is VERY nice.
Hear ye, hear ye! :D

F-ing bastards! Yeah I need to read up on the news of what's happened these last weeks... Seems like an eventful Christmas
6:32 "That wouldn't have been surprising if this was, I dunno, the United Kingdom or something" Fixed it for you 😔
Haha! Missed opportunity - thanks for the fix 😅

Hej man, which are the best spots to watch the new year's fireworks from?

How da heck do you shoot down drones using Archer, it is an artillery system.

"And don't be danish"🇩🇰 🤣🤣
Always the most important lesson to learn 😊
@ThreeStarVagabond 😂😂😂😂
I laughed so hard at that! :D
@kackotopi me too
Ha ha ha.. great intro.
All intros are good if beer is involved! 😊
lol Is there a city you recommend for majority of soft dev jobs?
Soft dev jobs... Hmm... Maybe Linköping? Or some other university city? Lots of startups as well as big companies
Dude, lots of beer in the fridge.
The most beer wins! (But in reality it's a lot of coke zero and trocadero zero too - I stocked up on soft drinks)
OS?
Jo nog måste det ha blitt os så mycket som Miro stekte!
OS...?
😅
StockholmsOS var fantastiskt, att han missade den ...
Rip 🍺😭
Actually, why not make a video about Sweden's 200 year policy? From the bedside regiment to the nuclear deal?
Hmmm... To be honest it's not a topic I find super interesting myself, but maybe I should read up on it and give it a shot 😊

Singing contes? Where is Abba?
Has the no of immigrants Sweden decreased compared to last year ??
Not really... There aren't many people leaving the country, but what's been done is to accept fewer people moving forward.
@ThreeStarVagabond What is the percentage of Natives . Will the condition improve in Future.
