house of salt and sorrows was one of my favorite reads of last year, and if you get the chance i think you should read it on a rainy day or with rainy mood playing! it’s so atmospheric and i read it on dreary days with soft piano music playing and it was the *b e s t* decision. i hope you enjoy it! 💕

Skyward & Starsight are books 1 and 2 of a quartet, I believe! Sanderson is pretty consistent with releasing books and holding himself accountable, so we should have book 3 next year or so I reckon. :) I quite enjoyed Invictus! I loved how it was like a Firefly story but as YA and that it included a relationship in it that was already established and healthy. It was so refreshing to see a long standing young relationship in YA.
I loved Cinderella is Dead. Read it a few weeks ago and it's one of my favorite books of 2020. The story was so freaking amazing and the characters were shaped so well.. I loved every bit of it and I hope you'll love it too 🙈❤️

The Last of August is such a good sequel. i started the charlotte holmes series when you talked about a study in charlotte and i’ve read 3/4 so far and i can’t wait to read the last one
Izzie H I started the book yesterday and I am around half way in. Although the book is about an important topic, I do not like the book and the „angry“ and „assertive“ writing style of the author. Plus it was just sooo repititive! It seems to be targeted more for teens but did not expected the author to badmouth about men or people in relationships. It was definitely a reminder on the topic of feminism that should be looked on more closely but I am not learning anything new here. All in all I am disappointed! The book itself is gorgeous though and I love the easy to read layout.
I recently read You had me at Hola by Alexis Daria and I loved it! My September tbr is Bird Box by Josh Malerman (unless I read all of it in 2 days , it happens), Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey Mcquiston, Perks of being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, Maybe then finish the chronicles of Narnia series finally . I have only read 2 out of the 7 so far.

Yeah! Soap opera! I watched Mexican telenovelas like Marimar, Maria La del Barrio and the rest, way back 90s. They reigned at that time and then came Asian telenovelas. Back to the books. My September TBR will be the His Dark Material trilogy, Deception Point, The Way of Kings, and if I’m not able to finish Morning Star and Iron Gold by the end of August, I will include that as well. I wanted to finish all the series in my bookshelves.

Mind you he doesn't particularly like reading unless he picks it (like most of us for school work) hahha He even wants to read her other series the Wolf by Wolf series I believe. Which is huge! that he is asking for more from a specific author. It's rare, and very few and far between. He's also reading Steel Crow Saga, as it was said it is like Pokemon and Airbender smooshed together lol

I tried to keep my September TBR very short. I have: 1. Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng (which I kind of already started today) 2. Call me by your Name by André Aciman 3. The Unraveling of Cassidy Holmes by Ellisa R. Sloan 4. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix I kept it short because I have major exams to sit for coming October but I am doubtful about the TBR anyway (because I have a feeling I'll end up reading a lot more books that just 4)

Before you read Blood for Blood, you should the novella Iron to Iron. It offers a bit of backstory. I think it’s only available for ebook though.

I tried to keep my September TBR very short. I have:
1. Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng (which I kind of already started today)
2. Call me by your Name by André Aciman
3. The Unraveling of Cassidy Holmes by Ellisa R. Sloan
4. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
I kept it short because I have major exams to sit for coming October but I am doubtful about the TBR anyway (because I have a feeling I'll end up reading a lot more books that just 4)

I really want to read Wolf by Wolf and Skyward, and I also have The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, The Black Kids, and Cinderella is Dead on my TBR! I hope you enjoy The Last of August! It wasn’t my favorite in the series but I really enjoyed the next two books and it was still a good installment. I want to read The Seven Realms series this September as well as Eliza and Her Monsters💗
