I've always looked up to Chomsky, read several of his books and he's greatly informed my world view. But recently he's lost the plot.
In this video he speaks to the evil of corporations and how their greedy practices are dangerous for society and brings up their tactics of lying and how cognitive capture of the public lead to great harm in the pursuit of profit. So why then did Chomsky totally buy into the pharmaceutical criminality and suggest that anyone who didn't get the jab should be shunned from society and forced to fend for themselves after being fired and ostracized? This after it was public knowledge that the shots didn't prevent transmission or even prevent infection, on top of all the serious health concerns that have been substantiated, even by the pharmaceutical companies own research? This massive blind spot seems almost inconceivable.

@@acetate909 The degree of corruption in pharma world surprised me. I mean that literally. I knew of corruption, but I also worked as an IT freelancer (clinical trials) in the pharma industry and thus had some insight in how they work.
If that level of insight did not prepare me for the incompetence or maliciousness we saw (one as bad as the other), I can hardly expect people who probably have less insight to get it right.
If these vaccines had lived up to the expectations based on "scientific evaluations", Chomsky's view seems to be perfectly supportable.
This is a complex topic with loads of facets. I'm not sure if YT comments is a good platform to discuss this.
My problem here is that I'm a science geek. I still believe in science, but the scientific community failed us, about as badly as politics or free markets. The older I get the more I feel like we live in a cold civil war and I'm on the loosing side.

🌎 As long as people continue to see themselves as separate from everything else, they lend themselves to being completely enslaved. Success depends on how well we relate to everything around us. Joy comes from that bliss of connectedness. I believe that unarmed truth and love will have the final word in reality. To love; you should have good heart. I am a good person until I see a person better than my standard of goodness. Being good is the progress towards a worthy cause. Love is God. Whoever lives in love, lives forever. How selfish it is to try to keep something forever? Love is all about nourishing, nurturing, sharing and expanding the love within you for all. The principle to which we adhere to is that we have kindness of love at heart for the whole of mankind. As long as there is the unnecessary differences within us; we can not live peacefully so we have to eliminate all the unnecessary differences among us so we can love all. People abilities may vary but not there true love. If we love a person/ God for a reason then we love the reason but not the person. No reason is the reason to love the person because true love never fails. So do not compare or measure the true love as first or the last but love all truly. If you love people truly then you can understand people. If you don't love then you don't understand people at all.
People are controlled by system why?
The Cyclical Consumption is the current economy all over the World. It is making the scarcity problems of the earth finite resources to deteriorate day by day. Current Monetary System is legalised theft. Real money is Gold and Silver. Scarcity gives the money more value. Real money won't lose it's value. When Governments stay away from Gold & Silver then very easy to transfer the wealth / resources to upper class the Rich (Corporatocracy) Elite. When the Governments are printing out more new fiat currency with reserve banks, our old currency is losing its purchasing power everyday. They are printing millions of currency everyday. All governments and laws are existing right now to transfer wealth to upper class the rich elite. The USA Government & other Governments are in many countries, bailed the investment banks & financial institutions in 2008 against the majority of the people. There is no democracy in any countries. Because of the Money System based on profits motive only above all else even humans lives and well-being. So, we do not have freedom to protect our values with the money so on. The violence, bankruptcy & all the negativities are build into the Monetary System of our society. All are owned (including ourselves) by Reserve Bank. Which is private cartel the corporation. So, in legal system, we are legally considered as chattel the properties. They make money in the capital markets with our birth certificates. They do not consider us as Humans. That's the truth. We are at the invisible war with the Elites (Corporatocracies). We have to fight for our Freedom. Resource Based Economy is the Solution. We have to declare the earth resources as the heritage of all the people of this world. So everyone has access to it. Please have your research about zeitgeist movement then you know the truth more.
Truth About Health/Drugs Industry Because Of It Your Life At High Risk The drug industry is a 1/2 trillion dollars a year worldwide conglomerate. Almost 300 billions dollars just in North America. That is really big business. What would happen if everyone were well? There is no money in health. You see, good health makes a lot of sense but it doesn't make a lot of dollars. Because everything they do is toxic. Every drug they use, prescription drugs, all drugs are liver toxic, bar none. If you've had amalgam fillings put in your mouth by dentists. It is highly toxic. There's cancer because most of the chemos are themselves carcinogens. To view the tumor as the cancer and we know the tumor is not the cancer. The cancer industry is 200 billions dollars a year. The more work they get, the more profit there is. You have to dismantle; If the truth ever came out about what we would need to do. 30% of people of females in America are at risk of getting, will get cancer of the breast. The ones that are already dead have been grossly mistreated by the medical profession and by the government that supposedly is supposed to encourage free research and development of all possibilities. Why would medical doctors who studied medicine and practice medicine and are heavily funded by pharmaceutical companies why would they go and look into vitamins? That they never had the answer orthomolecular. And as more and more of our population start taking their health into their own hands, there's going to be even more and more of changes. It can't go on the way it is. The system is failing apart. We must make nutrition the primary prevention strategy for the population. You are what you eat. You are everything that you have ever done to yourself. The choices you make directly affect the outcome of your life. - (Food Matters Documentary in Netflix)

@@balathayaparanthayaparan6188 Money should represent unanimous result, or failing that individual effort. Scarcity is not a good measure, unless you're cynical enough to believe that individual effort is scarce. Gold and silver were only ever valuable because of the trade that went into procuring it. Nowadays there's a different mindset, and that's the individual's ability to pay interest on debt. Should debt be universal and unanimous? That's what's unanimously undecided.

*"Basically running the world."* The marriage of corporations and government, equals Fascism, and Mussolini said Fascism should more accurately be called "Corporatism." They basically make their own laws, and always have their hands out for their 'Corporate Welfare.' There was an interesting twenty year study done, I believe by Yale University. It showed that corporations got laws they wanted passed, and unfavorable, potential laws stopped, sixty percent of the time, and 'We the People' usually had about a zero percent chance of getting what we wanted. Noam is one of the brightest, most informed minds on the planet, and has such an amazing gift for communicating that information to us mere mortals. When we lose Noam Chomsky, we'll be losing a brilliant, honest, and outspoken man. My friend's son is a post-grad student, and when I mentioned Noam Chomsky, he had no clue who I was talking about. I'm sure he can find his schools 'Safe Space,' however. I'm not encouraged by the next generation, overall.

You have the power to organize your community and reach out to others, and have an obligation to at least try- especially with those in the academic community (political class).
People aren’t stupid, despite how pessimistic and ignorant they may seem. If you fall into the trap of becoming a true believer, it’s only because you gave up on them due to giving up on yourself. They need you. We need you. Most importantly, *you^ need you. It’s been four years, have you made any progress?

“Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.” - Frederick Douglass
"Capitalism’s concept of competitive man who seeks only to maximize wealth and power, who subjects himself to market relationships, to exploitation and external authority, is anti-human and intolerable in the deepest sense" - Noam Chomsky
“Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of leaders…and millions have been killed because of this obedience…Our problem is that people are obedient allover the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves… (and) the grand thieves are running the country. That’s our problem.” ― Howard Zinn
"In the moral calculus of currently prevailing state capitalism, profits and bonuses in the next quarter greatly outweigh concern for the welfare of one’s grandchildren, and since these are institutional maladies, they will not be easy to overcome. While much remains uncertain, we can assure ourselves, with fair confidence, that future generations will not forgive us our silence and apathy." - Noam Chomsky
"A basic principle of modern state capitalism is that costs and risks are socialized to the extent possible, while profit is privatized." - Noam Chomsky
"Under capitalism, we can't have democracy by definition. Capitalism is a system in which the central institutions of society are in principle under autocratic control." - Noam Chomsky
"Capitalism is a system in which the central institutions of society are, in principle, under autocratic control. Thus, a corporation or an industry is, if we were to think of it in political terms, fascist, that is, it has tight control at the top and strict obedience has to be established at every level. [...] Just as I'm opposed to political fascism, I am opposed to economic fascism. I think that until the major institutions of society are under the popular control of participants and communities, it's pointless to talk about democracy." - Noam Chomsky

Go read manufacturing consent and then come back... And you obviously know absolutely nothing about the Clintons, they're hard core neoliberals. By the way, neoliberal is not what you think of as liberal, it's basically conservative and the worst kind. We could have had Sanders. Clinton may have actually been worse than Trump, she was trying to escalate with Russia, remember the no fly zone over Syria she was talking about? Everyone is fighting ISIS in Syria, and they have no airplanes! Russia was invited into Syria since they're old allies and they can't leave him out to dry like Qaddafi. So Clinton was literally saying we should, for absolutely no reason, shoot down any Russian jets over Syria while they're fighting ISIS so we could topple Assad, and get...? Most likely ISIS, that's who would take over Syria if we kicked out Russia and killed Assad, who else is there to take the place? and like 90% of Syrians are behind Assad because they just want the war to end. We tried this in Iraq, overthrowing a strong man who keeps stability and look what happened? It's ruined.

@@Zatzzo A non authoritarian chain of command is mutualist. The people "below" are typically for example, closer to the front lines directly focused on what's happening in front of them. They then rely on someone who organizes them from a broader perspective, and they also rely on the people below them to do their job properly, and then those managers or whatever have a tier above them who organize those managers, etc etc until you get the most broad view of the system necessary. All the people below continuously give consent to those organizing and representing them and vice versa. It's not a hierarchy of cercion or domination, but of scale with proportionate responsibility taken for how much power you hold. Same with a surgeon, only it's a different dynamic in the sense they they more closely serve the surgeon because you can't have like 4 people poking at the patient while one organizes them all, it's much more focused. Same for example, an athlete or formula racer. Everyone organizes to support one figure who is their catalyst, but they need to all do their job including that catalyst most of all. In an authoritarian system even if say the surgeon, general, formula racer, or whatever is incompetent, other people organizing to support them don't have the ability to have their say in the dynamic making it less efficient and harder for everyone to cooperate towards a shared goal.

I teach children daily, I teach them to think and resolve problem with a little help sometimes.
You make out that teachers do nothing, are not accountable and don't care, no-one works in education after studying all those years at university, for that tiny income.
Anyone who works in education is trying to make a difference especially for those who are struggling because people like you think you know you destroy the bridge that teachers are building everyday
They bring insight and new ideas, brilliant thoughts, creative ideas. Visit schools daily for a year. A day gives you very little to relate to but a year may give you a little to reflect on.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA- YOU HAVEN'T BEEN THERE OR DONE IT, YOU KNOW NOTHING!
I have 37 years of experience of working in schools and I know identifying the individual and their specific need will make everything easier and better for the whole class and the individual.

I have listened and read Chomsky for years now, and I keep hearing say "corporations this corporations that", but 2 things come to mind now. (1) He hasn't as of today mentioned the name of one single corporation. And (2) he never feels the need to sustain his claims with evidence. He just makes claims and is expected to be believed at face value.

Completely false. The evidence is in his footnotes. There's a whole second book in the footnotes. See "The Chomsky Reader." And what would be the point of mentioning an individual corporation by name when the problem is the system of corporate power?
