  • In this video we are taking one step closer to answering whether or not the John Deere 1025R tractor is powerful to meet your outdoor needs around the home. In part 3 of the stump removal series, we will demonstrate how to take out a medium size tree including how to "walk the stump" out of the hole. Overall this is the fifth video in a series of videos showcasing the functionality of the John Deere 1025R tractor in practical applications around the home. Version 3 fixing some audio issues and clarifying points.

    Great video. How would your stump removal technique change if your tractor had the backhoe, but a standard bucket with chain hooks on the front instead of a grapple? Would a tooth bar on the bucket be helpful?

      About an hour and a half to 2 hours. But during that time I was moving cameras and reviewing

    So I actually use my bucket when taking out stumps using the same “walk out” technique. The grapple got stuck and the bucket would not of if I had it on the loader instead.

      I never really used the grapple open and close function
