  • In today's video I will be doing a new first time reaction and analysis for AC/DC - Shoot to Thrill (Live At River Plate, December 2009). AC/DC Shoot to Thrill is such a hard rock music anthem. Angus giving us that high energy with Brian Johnson raspy and dynamic vocal performance and cool adlibs, makes the song fill really exciting. The guitar riff, lyrics and power chords all adds to this iconic song. The whole stadium live experience very endemic to the 80s music scene, wonderful addition to AC/DC's discography and popularity. Watch my raw and insightful reactions to this masterpiece!
The theme of "Shoot to Thrill" by AC/DC revolves around excitement, adrenaline, and living on the edge. The song captures a sense of rebellion, defiance, and the thrill of danger. It's about embracing life to the fullest, taking risks, and feeling the rush of adrenaline that comes with living on the edge. The lyrics of AC/DC shoot to thrill convey a sense of empowerment and freedom, encouraging listeners to let go of inhibitions and embrace the exhilaration of the moment. Overall, "Shoot to Thrill" embodies the spirit of rock 'n' roll and the electrifying sensation of being alive.

Oh the days of these concerts, they were the best. A great concert almost every week. Glad I grew up in the best of times and the greatest of music. The younger generations will never experience what we did. Rock on!

I live in Alabama and in the 80's it seemed like every other week we had big bands coming to Birmingham. KISS, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Def Lepard, Van Halen, Cinderella, Ratt, Poison, Metallica, Aerosmith, Journey, you name em. Damn I miss them days. The 80's ROCKED!!!

Favorite song off the album. My first concert was for this album/tour. Back in I think October or November of 1981. And it was at New York's Madison square garden. I was 16 years old. And went to school the next day. And my ears ring for 3 days.

Almost all of the 80’s rock bands heavy metal bands wrote their own music and lyrics themselves you’d be surprised just how many of them were written in a matter of an hour some of them are little as 20 minutes.

Although they really exploded in the late 70s. I saw them in high school in a very small arena in 1979, and it is still one of the best shows I've ever been to. It was a matter of months before Bon Scott died. They were opening for Cheap Trick and touring in the United States for their Highway to Hell album.

@@stevedahlberg8680 WOW , DAMN Steve you were at the perfect age for this perfect time in music, bands , concerts, ECT,ECT ! I’m 48 now so I was born in 75 and I always have said this to anyone that I have this conversation with and that is I would’ve loved to have been in my late teens early twenties in 74-75 just because of the music scene that was about to explode and even the car scene was still cool but at the end of the muscle car era but u would be able to find some older 60’s stuff still in good condition and have some fun I’m so jealous that I was 20 years just a little bit too late so many good things were happening in movies, music, cars, social culture, I’ll bet you it was a great great time to be 20-21 in 75 - 76- 77 ! Tell me I’m wrong? Lol just kidding but u know what I’m talking about. I truly envy you life timeline the only one better was if you were in your 18-21 in 1960’s ! Only bad thing in mid 70’s was the chance of being drafted for the Vietnam war . But other than that lots of cool shit going and if given the opportunity I’d go back in time and take my chances. Well anyway would love to hear back from you. Take care buddy.

Malcolm was the one who created Accadacca at the insistance of his brother George, & Harry Vanda, who were both members of legendary Australian rock and roll band The Easybeats. The latter also produced AC/DC's first few albums, as well as at least one later in their career. It's quite tragic that Malcolm had been quite unwell for a lot longer than what everyone thought. And when brother George passed away, one month later, so did Malcolm. We miss them so much, as George & Malcolm were vital pieces in a rock & roll evolution not just in Australia but also worldwide. George Young, like Malcolm, were the greatest rhythm players in rock & roll. Also, their nephew Stevie Young, who is currently the rhythm player for AC/DC, is as good as Malcolm. Only he & Malcolm are known for being the ultimate pick destroyers! During a typical performance, Malcolm & Stevie go through 35-45 guitar picks a gig. And that's not from throwing them into the crowd! When they play in that hard & heavy Australian fashion, you can see the cellulose powder fly off the strings on their guitars! It's impressive!
    Rock In Peace Bon.
    Forever Malcolm Young.
    LONG LIVE AC/DC!
