As someone with only basic JP understanding, she is very hard to understand. I'm kinda relieved knowing that even JP bros don't understand Hajime. It almost feels like Miko.

i mean i do too but i'm a ha-fu so...
I have a friend who speaks like this. He's not wearing any braces or have a lisp but still speaks like he babbles something. He told me that he speaks faster than he thinks of the next words so he just kinda blurts out whatever comes and it made the words less understandable. It's kind of a drag according to him but all of our classmates back then got used to it and understands him no problem. It's like we had enhanced our listening skills because of him. If we focus on listening we'd have no problem understanding whatever he says.
Well that's definitely a speech impediment. Obviously undiagnosed.
My little sister is just like your friend! She speaks differently at work and when she's with friends or family though.
I asked her why she sounds more articulate when she's working and she said that she had to force herself to pace her words so other people can understand her. But when she's relaxed, she speaks faster than she thinks.
This is the first time I've seen anyone else mention anything similar to what my little sister has. Cool!
I have the same problem here, whenever I don't know what to say I just kind of blurt out whatever I can think of a subject nnnnnn guess what, instead they ask me to speak clearly n I even got mocked for this one 💀
I used to be like this but now, talking slower (which is now normal speed) became a habit so it’s better ^^

I'd say it's more like an Irish accent. Scottish is easier to understand, Irish accents are just out of this world.
@@kenshiku I said TRUE Scottish... If you watched a 70s show called Mind Your Language, there is an episode where a Scottish Guy joins the class and holy hell, I literally couldn't understand a lick of what he's saying! The episode is called "I Belong to Glasgow" to be exact.

At first I didn't what was the problem but ad I listened to her talk, I see the reason. She certainly has an accent. Probably from a certain part or Japan. Or is just how she speaks.
One thing I can say is that it has an Australian twang to it. Like she incoporated an Aussie accent into her Japanese at times.
