Diy Embellishments: Mini Fringe Hearts - Build Your Stash #11
Вставка
- Опубліковано 11 чер 2016
- Hello Lovelies! Today*s fun tutorial is how to make mini fringe heart embellishments for your flipbooks, planners, and scrapbooks. This is probably my favorite diy embellishment because they are SO CUTE and simple to make. The best part of all is that you can use washi tape to make them, yay! This is a great way to get the most out of your washi and be able to make perfect color coordinated decorations for your projects. :)
Thank you so much for watching this episode of Build Your Stash, if you enjoyed it please give it a thumbs up. Hope you have a fantastic day!!!
Hugs! -Meg

Love to watch your videos! If i cant watch at the time i download them so i don't miss a trick.
So stinking CUTE!!💗💗💗
Super cute embellies!
Love love all the things you craft 😭
These are adorable! I sped things up a little bit by running my washi tape across the book page and then cutting the heart, making sure that the washi fell right about the middle of the punch. That way I didn't have to trim them afterwards... I just punched out the perfect heart with the washi tape already in place.
So cute. I love them!!!!
How lovely!!! They turned out super cute!! Tfs! :)

Hola Meg, te felicito están preciosos, gracias por compartir, saludos!!! 😍
all your videos are easy to follow, informative, and so creative! I adore that you offer options for people who don't have special tools. You often say how you buy your supplies from Hobby Lobby, and I wondered if you buy your Washi there, too? I got a few from ACMoore, Target, or Joanns, and they all tore apart, shredded, or didn't even stick more than a few seconds. Can you do a video where you go over your favorite brands and where to buy them, like washi, gemstones and punches, etc? Thanks!
Very cute. I'm planning on building my stash this summer. Tfs
hey, awsome,as always! I love this and now I need to buy big heart punch))

Cute but was waiting to see final creation up close
So cute! Thanks for sharing. What size font do you use to create your tiny words?
I use a vintage type writer. It's either 12 point or 10 point. :)
I really like your work.. These are soo cute and very unique.. I am gonna apply this on my next project..
One question.. Can you please comment what is the second thing you used that looks like ribbon?
Hi mir sumaiya. :) The second thing I used was washi tape (decorative tape), it's not necessary to use it though. Patterend paper works just as well. Thank you for watching, I hope you have a lovely day. --Meg
Love love the embellishments. Where do you get books pages from old books & from thrift stores . they come out so nice I want to make me some thank you so much for your beautiful videos.
Hi Lucy. I bought my used paperback novel from a thrift store. I tried to find one that had discolored pages and had been printed in bulk somewhat recently (past 20 years). Thank you for watching. If you have any more questions please let me know. :)Hugs! - Meg
cute embellishments ! is the heart punch the marvy Uchida? I've been searching and searching for a good size heart punch. had to return the one from hobby lobby. it has rounded corners and the middle top piece. also a scallop one to go around it I bought the spellbinders but also was too rounded. I didn't like it ..
The one I used for this tutorial is the rounded heart punch from Hobby Lobby. I*m almost positive Fiskars came out with a pointed heart punch in several sizes. The next time I go out of town I*ll look at the punches for you and let you know if I see any that fit your description. :)
+Little Hot Tamale awe thank you that's so sweet of you! I can't even tell this one is from hobby lobby lol Maybe the smaller size isn't too rounded... I had bought big one
Hi Meg! Please tell me what brand your tiny butterfly punch is. Thx for a great tutorial! Subscribed!!! :)
Hobby Lobby and Michaels sell this butterfly punch in their brands (the paper studio/Recollections)
Hello! Love your videos. 😍Where can I get those word stickers?
Hi girly! I used a vintage typewriter. :) You can also create a word document with your favorite phrases and print it. A nice font is courier, very similar to a typewriter.
Is the book paper acid-free?
If acidity is of concern I recommend scanning a page of an old book and print accordingly (special paper/ink). Also be aware of the adhesive you use.
I see you make a whole lot of waste with your supplies. Maybe a more frugal approach, for instance.
I try not to waste my supplies, just because I didn*t use the scraps on this particular project it doesn*t mean I didn*t save the scraps and use them on another project. Please don*t assume something when it*s only a small snippet of information.
Beulah Bix Everyone is entitled to their opinions but she's using materials that are neither expensive nor difficult to find crafters usually have these items on hand. She's actually a very frugal and talented crafter.
